I gotta say, my experience with SINGER22 was pretty disappointing. The service was just plain lousy, and the staff was super rude. I mean, come on, is it really that hard to be polite to your customers? And don't even get me started on their return policy - it's just horrible. I had a really hard time trying to return something, and it was such a hassle. Plus, their merchandise is way overpriced. I mean, seriously, who wants to pay that much for clothes? It's just not worth it.
It's no surprise to me that SINGER22 only got a C+ grade from the Better Business Bureau. They've had multiple complaints, and you can check out the link for yourself. I definitely won't be shopping there again, that's for sure.
Singer22.com review: slow refund process and lack of communication
I purchased a sweatshirt from singer22.com back in March, and boy was I excited to receive it! However, it took what felt like forever for it to arrive. Terrible store with poor customer service and confusing return policy
This store is terrible! I had a really bad experience with their return policy, which was not easy to understand. They don't allow refunds, which is not clear when you check out. I was really disappointed with their customer service, which was not helpful at all. They were really rude to me and I felt like they didn't care about my concerns.
I would recommend shopping at other stores like Revolveclothing.com, Shopbop.com or Piperlime.com instead. They have better customer service and more transparent return policies. I have already told all of my friends, family, colleagues and students (I work at a college) not to shop here either!
Certainly not the case as we do our best to keep our customers happy and we have been in business for 20+ years.

Sorry you had an issue with checkout but we have since fixed and made our shipping cart very streamlined and simple. We have been in business for 20+ years and unfortunately at times customer service reps may not handle situations in the best manner which we are always trying to improve.

I’m sorry you were not aware with our returns policy we clearly display on our site. Due to excessive returns as a small business it is hard to operate that way for us hence why we had to implement the store credit policy and are very upfront about it. I would rather someone know the policy and not shop on the site if that is an issue for them. I understand it may not be the policy you like but this is how we have to run our business.

My daughter purchased me a sweatsuit for Valentine's Day. The sweatshirt did not fit. I received a store credit. But when attempting to use it was unable to on the website. The sweatpants she ordered me were on backorder and I requested a refund for them. I was never refunded for the sweatpants and have been unable to use the store credit issued to me.
I have emailed Eden S multiple times since February with no response. I am currently out over $300. This company is a total fraud and is stealing people's money. No one answers the phone and no one responds to emails.
Checking on order due to be shipped yesterday
I placed an order the day after Thanksgiving for a pair of sweatpants and the Singer 22 website said the item was sold out and would be mailed on 12/15. I phoned on 12/15 and all mailboxes were "full". Then I emailed the company per the instructions on the order form, and no one responded as of yet. I want my money back so I can place the order elsewhere.

My first time ordering from this website was the last one. I am very disappointed.
Ordered a very expensive dress 5 weeks before christmas. Knowing that the company is based in NY I wasn't worried much as I thought it would be delivered fast (I live close). I was so wrong!

Small top
I can't understand why can't I get a replacement! I bought a top from them and it was too small and did not fit and when I contacted Singer22 and asked for a replacement they said no.
I asked them to explain in details why wasn't I able to get a replacement but they simply ignored me. Pay attention that I didn't ask for a refund, I was still interested in buying from them, but not any more.
The whole thing was their mistake and that's a very bad thing that they refused to fix it. Lesson learned, Singer22 is not worth buying from. Avoid at all costs!

STAY AWAY! I'm really disappointed with this website. Yes, they do have some great stuff, but had I known about the non return policy, I would have stayed clear. I'm an Internet shopper, have been for years. Never have I not been able to return for a refund. Yes, I know that I didn't read the return policy, but I never even thought that was possible, being used to internet shopping g and never running into any problems with returns. Now, I have an item that is on back order till mid July and if I try to cancel, they will still give store credit. No other place charges you for a back ordered item until it is being shipped out. Very sneaky!

My first experience with Singer 22 I bought a sale priced necklace I had been eyeing. I received an order confirmation by email and got exited to receive the item. 3 days later I get an email telling me the item was out of stock and that I should "enjoy 10% off my next purchase>" 10%? Gee thanks.
I gave Singer 22 another chance and the exact same thing happened. I added my "10% off coupon" into the comment section of my order and submitted the purchase. I never recieved a follow up email so I emailed customer service to request a confirmation. No response. I called EVERY single extension on their phone line. NO ANSWER. This went on for 2 days. Finally someone answered (with quite a ### attitude might I add) to let me know that again, the item I "purchased" was out of stock. So...I was jilted on my first purchase and while attempting to redeem a coupon, jilted on a SECOND purchase with absolutely no notification. But they offered me 10% off my next purchase and acted like they were doing me a favor. Are you kidding me ? This is NOT how you build customer loyality ###S!

Just like everyone is saying, will never even visit the site again! almost feel like ive been tricked into buying a pair of shorts. i wanted to check how much they will cost after a further 30% off so i added them to bag, proceed to checkout and had to enter all my details including bank details and coupon code for it to show me full price after 30% discount. and after ive done that it just placed my order without me even submitting or confirming the order! so i emailed then and obviously got no response..it also states that i absolutely had to email them a copy of my passport and bank card that i used (for security reasons) in order for them to process my order. so i thought if i dont email it to them they will give me some sort of response and atlest wont proceed with the order. but what do you know, instead of giving me any response they processed my order even without the required proof of identity... may they burn in hell.

I'm sorry to say but I have only had positive experiences with SINGER22. They have some of the best stuff out there. They surpass my expectations and are always friendly if there is ever an issue. One time i got shipped the wrong items and they sent me a label right away and overnighted me the correct item at their expense and offered me a coupon off of my next purchase!

FYI: No refunds are allowed. All sale items = FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged. Allowable returned items will be given an online store credit only, no exceptions. Everything but full priced clothing = FINAL SALE items meaning unless you're buying clothes everything else is non returnable non exchangeable so make sure you order what you want.
Items received after the 14 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. (A 1/5 of your entire order's cost- insane! I spent $355 so that's roughly $70 they will not refund you) Items received after 30 days will not be accepted back.
A shipping fee of $6.95 will be charged for exchanges (they deduct this from your return cost). The original shipping fee will be deducted from the store credit for any order, those orders that originally shipped for free will be charged as well; $9.95 for U.S. orders. Returns will be processed within 5 - 7 business days.
"Please note on returns for different sizes or colors the purchaser is responsible for shipping charges. Items purchased online may not be returned to our retail stores."
Never shopping from this retailer again. Worst customer service. Unless you absolutely know that there's no way you'd want to make an exchange or return an item, you're getting screwed over.
This is the absolute worst website
This is the absolute worst website. I ordered a $700 alice and olivia dress on sale for $349 which did say final sale. I paid extra to have the dress shipped in 2 days for a wedding i had on friday. I received the dress on Wednesday, brought it to the cleaners to get "puffed" since the bottom was flat from being delivered folded in a box. The cleaners showed me the hem and explained there wasnt anything he could do since the dress was ripped and there was no way a dress would be sewn like that. I called Singer 22 left a message and a week later i still had not heard anything. I called again, had to email them pictures and send the dress back. They offered me a new dress, too bad the wedding was long over or store credit. I explained all i wanted was a refund onto my american express. Everyone i spoke with was rude, nasty, and liars stating they sent me emails which i never received. I have disputed this charge twice with American Express and unfortunately they have taken Singer 22's side and i now have a $349 credit towards there website. Its complete bull$#*!, i will spend my credit but will NEVER EVER order or recommend this website. As a business owner myself i am completely appalled with the way the company handled this situation.
GEzma-- I understand your frustration, but don't you think that each company in entitled to their own store policy? Just because you didn't get what you wanted from them, clearly they had enough proof to fight the dispute from AMEX on your end. That's the only reason the store itself would win. Maybe you should check your spam inbox... sometimes they send stuff to me and It goes to my spam and I don't even realize! I hope you have a better experience with them next time... they've been nothing but the best for me!

This customer wrote us to remove an insurance charge she had selected for $3. We removed the insurance and refunded the insurance protection off of order. Hours later she requested the other to be cancelled after we had already shipped the item that was the same price and the MSRP from the brand itself. Not sure why she is so unhappy all I can assume is bc she was unable to cancel order bc it had already shipped out.
Dont appreciate the false claims.
