Singapore Post (SingPost) failure of delivery of registered articles

Dear Sir/Mdm,

I would like to lodge a complaint with you regarding the delivery of a registered mail to my home recently.

I received a reminder from SingPost (green notice) 2 days ago, dated 24 Nov that a delivery was attempted on 16 Nov (Thur). On this day, both myself and my children were at home and we did not hear the door bell ring. If the delivery was actually attempted, shouldn't the postman leave a delivery notice (white one) to inform that a delivery was attempted but no one was at home. I did not find any such notice outside my door at all, which makes me question if the said delivery was actually made. I have received numerous parcels made through online orders during the year and the courier or delivery man have always left the items outside my door when no one is at home, and none of these items have ever gone missing. So you must understand why I find it hard to believe that the delivery note left by your mailman (if indeed it was left behind) has gone missing. This is the first issue that I have.

I collected the items (2 registered letters) earlier this afternoon. The contents of these letters contain official original documents that have been duly notarised and lodged with the Office of the Public Guardian. To my horror, the envelopes and the actual contents have water damage on them causing smudges to the endorsement stamps on the official documents. This is totally unacceptable and is my second issue. Now I have to check with the Office of Public Guardian to see if the documents are still valid in the current condition or if they need to be replaced, and if there would be a cost if replacement is necessary. All this is totally unnecessary and could have been avoided if your appointed delivery person had duly fulfilled his obligation.

I have attached photos for your reference.

Kindly acknowledge this complaint and advise me on your course of action on this. I may be reached via email at [protected]@gmail.com

Thank you.

Kind Regards,
Pandian

Singapore Post (SingPost) deliverer post fake reason for failed attempt to deliver

I have received an SMS today 9:11 am on 27th Nov 2017 that SpeedPost will make a delivery by the end of the day. Parcel Number UN00000275925.
I took leave and waited at home, only to receive an SMS at 14.59 that the delivery attempt was unsuccessful. I checked online and the reason was "Delivery attempted but no response". How can there be no response? Was there any attempt in the first place? I find this reason unacceptable.
It will take me less than 10 seconds to open the door if someone rings the doorbell.
Immediately, I called the customer support service to feedback. I was told to self-collect which can be done tomorrow. Otherwise, wait for 3 working days for a response to this call or any attempt delivery within 5 working days.
Firstly, there was no delivery attempt. It is a lie that the status is updated as no response! Despite my feedback, I have to self-collect. Otherwise, wait another 5 days.
Speed post service is totally unacceptable!

Singapore Post (SingPost) delivery service

Dear Singpost,

I have been eagerly waiting for the delivery of my parcel TB00000617842 since forever! The overseas tracking status showed that it has reached Singapore on 24/11 but Singpost only received it on 28/11. Firstly i dont get how Singpost is so inefficient on this. And secondly, its been 2 days since the local tracking status showed that my parcel is with Singpost! When am i going to receive my parcel? I need it as soon as possible. Why did i choose my parcel to be delivered via Singpost and not other courier services? That is because i placed all my trust in Singpost apart from the very expensive shipping rates as well! In return i expect efficiency! You had one job, one. If your overseas partner can dispatch my parcel so efficiently and smoothly, why are you incompetent of keeping up with the expectations when my parcel reach Singapore? What a disappointment! Please work on your efficiency in delivering parcels as well! And also i hope Singpost will be able to inform parcel receivers regarding the estimated time slot that they will be expecting their parcels so they would not have to wait at home the entire day in fear of missing the delivery! Thank you.

Yours truly,
Shi xuan

Singapore Post (SingPost) speedpost priority / standard service

I should have 2 parcels arriving on 25th Nov., one from JP and the other US. As of today, 29th Nov, both have not arrived and one of their status is unknown!

EMS Priority should be next day delivery but due to the bulkiness of my parcel, the courier refused to deliver time and time again - giving crappy reasons like "bad weather", "high volume".

Courier lied and key in "failed Delivery" multiple times into the system when no one came to deliver at all! I took a week's leave. I know no one came because I was at home all day.

Now the worst thing is, they redirected my parcel to the POpstation, but parcel disappeared from there.

What happened was: At 5.25pm on 25th Nov, parcel was "delivered to popstation".
At 6.20pm on 25th Nov, parcel was at "Speedpost Service Centre due to bad weather". WTH was that?
At 9.14am on 27th, parcel was again at "Speedpost Service Centre due to bad weather". Seriously, WTH?

I called Customer Service but the officer also couldn't locate the exact status of my parcel. They insisted it's at the Popstation when online status said "Speedpost Delivery Centre".

Nevermind. I went to the Popstation to collect my parcel. After keying in the locker pin, I got this message "locker door is faulty, please call for assistance". Door refused to open. IM NOT LYING, CHECK PHOTO ATTACHED.

I called CS again and the officer thought I was making things up because he never came across such a thing about faulty locker door.

At this point, I can only say that both Singpost and Speedpost can not be trusted. I'm an avid online shopper. I've lost count of the times our local post have disappointed me. The courier team is dishonest, lazy and inefficient.
The CS team has trouble communicating clearly and lacks knowledge when it comes to their own job.

Both my parcels are now missing. Both cost a lot. I can only file claims from this point on.

So people, please don't ever trust singpost or speedpost with expensive parcels. Use DHL or UPS. They have never disappointed me. Not once. But international sellers still prefer their own local post over DHL and UPs. Hence, I'm stuck with singpost/speedpost because of the seller's preference .

Hey Singpost CS,
Stop your PR bull💩. You want the numbers, here they are.
CF027992123US
EN002824019JP
Track on your system and check the call log linked to these 2 parcels.
The US parcel was supposedly in the Popstation but one hour later after it was “supposedly” delivered, your smartass courier went to remove it and sent it back to the service center. Your equally wiseass colleague insisted it was at the Popstation. I went there and guess what? Locker door refused to open. People, VIEW PHOTO PROOF! As of today, 4 working days later, my EMS US parcel’s location cannot confirmed.

The JP parcel was supposed out for delivery on Tues but was unexpectedly rescheduled. Fine, I understand. WEDNESDAY WAS NOT A PUBLIC HOLIDAY, WTH HAPPENED ON WEDSNEDAY THAT THE PARCEL COULD NOT EVEN BE SENT OUT FOR DELIVERY? Ah... I know why. It’s very likely your couriers stole it or lost it. Please single out all these black sheep couriers.

Both your manager and head of CS are of no help. Talk is cheap.

Now you know why nobody here bothered private messaging you? That’s because they know it’s PR bull💩.
I’ll not private message because I want the world to know. If Singpost/Speedpost cannot keep up, it should ship out.
News spread quickly in this digital age. It’s only a matter of time.

This case is only partially resolved. I’m still waiting for my US parcel which is stuck at the Popstation’s faulty locker. A CS rep. assured me that this US parcel will be delivered to me in due time. I’ll wait and see. Most importantly, my misplaced JP parcel was finally found on Friday and out for delivery. It arrived safely. However, I’m still angry that EMS took such a long time and that my huge and costly parcel went missing for a period of time, causing me much frustration and anxiety. CS team tried to resolve this issue for me but actual help only came on Friday. If they had taken action the moment the enquiry was raised, the outcome would have been different - it would be more positive. Honestly, I have lost trust in Singpost and especially Speedpost. Most of my unpleasant experiences involve Speedpost. The Singpost aunties serving my block are still doing a great job. For cheap purchases, I will still engage Singpost’s services. But after this recent scare, I’ll not use its services for costly purchases or sending parcels overseas. For those, I’ll opt for DHL. I spoke to a DHL rep. yesterday and got a quote. DHL postage is in my opinion more expensive than Speedpost’s but I’m willing to pay to get good services.

Singapore Post (SingPost) speedpost delivery

My family member received an SMS at 11:04 on 27th Nov 2017 that SpeedPost will be making a delivery at by the end of the day. Parcel Number LZW0000017182.
After waiting for more than half a day not even dared to go get lunch, for fear of missing the delivery staff. Then My family member received another SMS at 17:33, that the delivery attempt has failed. Not a single soul has came up to my door nor have we heard my door bell sounded which ALWAYS make my dogs bark.

I tried the LIVE CHAT but the information given was also not helpful. The person on the other end said we have 3 options once delivery has been assigned : 1) ####, 2)%%%%, and 3)@@@@. Then the fine print says " if attempt to deliver fails, the options are not longer available" or to that effect. Then I got DISCONNECTED!

Then I called the Customer Support Line. But only finally able to speak to a customer service officer after 20 minutes on hold. We were informed that the delivery vehicle has broken down BUT the reason they gave was "Attempt to deliver parcel failed". It sounded like it was our fault as we were not around to receive the parcel therefore it "FAILED".

We were even willing to go the Post Office to "Self Collect" the parcel but was told that that is not allowed but to wait for a rescheduled delivery the next day.

Today (28 Nov 2017), the same [censor] happened. Wasted another half a day waiting for my parcel. After 6pm and my parcel has not arrived. Checked online AND called the "hotline", still same old standard reply read out to me.

All these hotline and call centers are in INDIA. How much can they tell us? They see exactly the same things as we see on our computer screen. So how much help can they give besides the standard answers they memorised like the BIBLE.

Paying EXTRA $$ and have to waste 2 half days waiting while I could have spend 1 full day shopping and getting what I wanted on the spot.

So what World Class Postal Service are we talking about? Just like all the other "WORLD CLASS SERVICES" provided by "Singapore XXXXX companies"? Like MRT? Did we not paid for this "WORLD CLASS SERVICES" or "WORLD CLASS TRANSPORT"?

Perhaps we should all be encourage to use the small delivery companies. We get our stuffs on time and make their bosses richer and appreciative of our support for small companies. But of course not as rich as the million$ payout to those in SG companies.

Singapore Post (SingPost) delivery of item

Hi. I received this delivery notice in my mail box today. I'd like to bring to your attention that I was sitting right at my door step the whole time on 22 nov 2017 between 5pm-8pm. The delivery notice stated that the delivery attempt was during 22 nov 2017, 6.35pm. Can I know why I did not see any mail man approaching my unit to attempt the delivery?

Thank you.

Singapore Post (SingPost) letter box for block 247 bukit batok east ave 5

Hi, it happened yesterday afternoon at 5pm when I opened my letterbox, I was surprised to see that the whole row of letterboxes was left unlock. Attached is the picture of what I saw. Very irresponsible of the mail lady whom was responsible for this. This have never happened before, I don't understand why the mail lady are in such a rush that she overlooked to lock up the letterboxes. If lost of important mails, who is accountable for them?

Singapore Post (SingPost) postal service

On the 14 November 2017 at about 16:00 HRS, I received an update from my tracking notification that the delivery status of my parcel fail. due to incorrect address. Right after that I called up Singapore Post regards to this matter.

On phone, the customer service officer informed me that he will send a request to the relevant department and update me on this issue and it will take around 3 working days and it will be flag as HIGH IMPORTANT.

On 15 November 2017 at about 17:00 HRS, I called the service centre again to get an update of my parcel, they informed me that the parcel is still being search by the relevant department and request me to wait till best end of day, 18:00 HRS or latest by 16 November 2017 @ 10:00 HRS. He also informed me that the delivery man does not carry any phone.

I have received multiple parcel where by the delivery man called upon arriving for registered post. Even so if this is a special case i believe that the standard of service being served by Singapore Post compared to all other postage service is way below average level of standard.

On 16 November 2017 at about 16:00 HRS, the system update that the item was shipped back to the sender, without any update from the customer service I was not informed.

On 17 November 2017 at about 12:00 HRS, I called in again, i was informed by them that due to my request to wave off the fees that was charged to me, they have to bring up to the higher management and would take some time.

At this point of time I was still not informed that my parcel was already shipped back.

Again i asked what is the update of my parcel, this time he told me that they are still searching and will definitely get back by end of day.

On the same day at about 20:30 HRS, I call in again and this time they told me that the parcel has already been shipped out, we sorry, please contact your sender. I rage out and was transferred to manager uncharged, SATYAN,

SATYAN, informed me that they received from the relevant department at 17:00 HRS. As they about to call me by 20:30HRS i already called in. He mention that there is nothing that they can do on their side and requested me to contact the sender instead and ended the call.

I belive that as a goverment owned customer service provider and a main courier in Singapore, I expect the service to be more professional instead, I was disgusted by the service that was being provide especially the twisted stories that you put up to cover the mess that was made without even allowing me to go to the nearest post office or HQ to retrieve.

We singaporeans depend and trusted Singapore Post to deliver our items, however over and over again issues like this was taken fogranted. If I were given a choice to choose a courier I would definitely put singapore post as my last choice of hope.

Singapore Post (SingPost) delivery issue - xc00006683850

I will like to highlight the services rendered from Singa post on my delivery schedule on item XC000066883850.
Since 13th Nov, i have been asking on the estimate timeline on the delivery. They keep telling 1-2 days.

15th Nov, i called up again. This time they mentioned its with their delivery. They will arrange a delivery on the 16th Nov before 12noon.

Today 16th Nov. I called up Singpost again. As it was 1230pm, no sight of any delivery from Singpost.

Seriously, this is only a local delivery. i really have doubts on the efficiency of Singapore post.

No one could give me a definite answer to my enquiry. They keep going merry go round.

Singapore Post (SingPost) parcel delivery personnel

Dishonest Delivery Personnel (BEAT 7614) was unable to deliver my parcel on 14th Nov 17. And to cover his track (I presumed) stated a false time of delivery on the Delivery Notification Form.

I personally left my home after 2pm on 14th Nov 17. The last member of my family left my home 2:38pm. The Delivery Notification form stated that he/she tried to deliver at 11:38pm.

This is not the first time that such things have happened. On other occasions, he press my door bell continuously non stop until someone comes to the door. After that complain, he pressed twice and turn around and walked away without waiting.

Attached picture 1 shows delivery notice
Attached picture 2 shows the time my family left my home.

Previous case numbers as follows :

CAS-647419-Z5K7D6
CAS-584635-N6K9J6

Seems that many delivery personnel with no integrity are working for the GREAT SINGAPORE POST?

Best regards

Ronnie Sim

Singapore Post (SingPost) rude delivery man

Dear Sir/ Mdm

I received a home delivery today (14 Nov) around 3 pm for my wife. (Postal code 730347 parcel number EO 567 002) I had rushed to the door when I heard his knocks. When i opened the door he was putting the delivery items on the floor. Upon my opening the door he said the word "kanina", an expletive. When I asked him why he had to say that word, he denied and said he had said a completely different word.

Compare this with a delivery man from Ninja Van who came later. I was also slightly late to the door but he was pleasantly suprised and even said "have nice day" when he left.

Service has been excellent even at civic centre (woodlands)singpost where the queues move fast and staff are helpfull, fast and friendly and I have no complaints. This is just to update you so that you can feed back to your staff. I apologise for having to do this

Singapore Post (SingPost) inconsiderate driver of singpost

On 14 Nov 2017, 7pm, the driver of vehicle number GBB 1284G inconsiderately and illegally parked infront of 5 vehicles at Block 53 Lengkok Bahru carpark and caused inconvenience for us drivers. We were unable to move out of our lots because of this driver and we were in a rush.
We waited for at least 10min before the driver finally came strolling and non apolegetic.
I feel that this is an unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour of your staff. Please look into this matter and do not let it happen at other places. Thank you.

Singapore Post (SingPost) redelivery

I am here to complain about 2 of my registered letters - rc253349924sg and rc253349938sg. Received a delivery advice stating that the delivery was unsuccessful. Checked with my parents who are always at home on whether any singpost delivery came, they said no one even doorbell or knocked the door. I thus arrange for a re-delivery on 08 november 2017 thru the website. So on 08 november 2017, we purposely open the door the whole day, and waited. My husband and parents were at home to wait. To my shocked, no one came and when I checked the singpost website, it stated that the 08 nov 2017 delivery attempt was unsuccessful. This is utter [censor] man! I called singapost to lodge a complain on this singpost delivery guy/lady on 09 nov 2017, they said will checked and call me back the next working day. Today on 10 nov 2017, no one called and I called and spoke to this singpost cso named amit. He was so rude and not helping at all. He even said that its my side who did not received and his delivery guy/lady have already attempted. You think we are deaf and blind on 08 nov 2017?!
Singpost is getting unreliable and employing unrealiable staffs. I need an answer by today on when can you re-deliver my 2 registered letters as it may very a very important letters!

Singapore Post (SingPost) delivery

I had a delivery advice slipped under my door stating that my mailbox was full (I was unable to access my mailbox earlier) and the items were unable to fit into my mailbox. I was directed to collect the items (delivered via normal mail) at bukit merah central post office. I went to the post office to collect the items but was told by the counter staff that they did not entertain such cases (ie. mail box at residential estates) and that the post office only handles rented mail boxes outside the post office. I told the counter staff that I had collected such items before at that post office but he insisted that the post office doesn't provide such services and they do not have returned parcels with them. The counter staff then provided me the customer service number (1605) and asked me to contact them for assistance. I called the customer service number for help and the service provided by the customer service officer was not of any better than the staff at bukit merah post office. The solution they provided me was to check with the post office branch, which I would not have called if i had not already done so. I had purposely changed my work shift just to collect the items and in the end failed to do so. Another issue was when I opened my mailbox, there was no parcel inside the mailbox- I am wondering if the items originally in the mailbox were removed altogether and I ended up I losing all ky items (including those in my mailbox originally). Very dissapointed and unhappy about the service.

Singapore Post (SingPost) bad service

Behalf of my manager, I would like to raise out this issue

On 4th October 2017, I sent out a parcel to Australia (CR925612105SG - Please see the attachment), until now our customer haven't received any parcel. I call up the Customer Service and they told me using 2 to 5 working day's to check.

Now, since last week, I call them and sent few e-mail, no one get back to us. And every time when I call, different Operator pick up (e-mail status the Customer Service name) and using the Indian tones which most of them can't really pronounces properly, I'm so upset about this issue and this is not the first time when we always sent the parcel, is always lost in somewhere and didn't update us about the issue.

Please contact us urgently as this parcel is already missing 1 month and you guy's need to check. And don't us using 2 to 5 working day's as it keep on delaying weeks to weeks.

Singapore Post (SingPost) parcel missing

Recently I sent parcel to overseas . The staff told me it would take maximum 2 weeks. Now its almost 30 days still have't reach destination and my friend never receive any calls or message.
I went to the outlet seek help but they just told me they cant track or do anything if its not registered. i had sent parcels which were registered to the same destination many times all reached around 10 days so are you saying that all parcels without buying register could go missing and nothing to do ?
I called customer service hotline they also ask me just wait they also cant track. may i just know is there any way or just let it go? thanks

Singapore Post (SingPost) limited holding time for return to sender items

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the way my parcel was handled (RR818659387CZ). I bought an item from ebay that arrived in sg on 10/10/17.

I was closely monitoring the item but status was showing as processing in boon lay delivery base when i checked on Saturday 14/10/17.

On sunday morning 15/10/17 at 11am i went to check on this at Jurong point branch and i was told to give a call to the hotline.

This being on a weekend i decided to call on Monday 16/10/17. Then guess what?! My parcel is gone! sent back to sender.

Now can someone explain why this happened. Would it kill anyone to hold the item in sg for minimum of 7 days before sending it back?! How am i supposed to get my item now when it has been paid for and its not from a merchant store.

Is Singpost going to take responsibility for this?! Please i DEMAND that someone come out and take the ownership for this blame because i am pissed as hell for this idiotic mistake.

Call me back [protected].
