Sheplers Terrible Customer Service

I made an order and after I paid I received a confirmation message and a tracking number. I waited patiently but weeks passed and there was no sign of my order. I decided to track my order. When I entered the tracking number it said that my order was delivered. I contacted Sheplers and told them that I did not receive anything and asked them what to do, I was expecting some help and support from them. Their rep said that it was not their problem and said that I need to contact the shipping company. Sheplers is absolutely ridiculous! These people are lazy, unprofessional and customer unfriendly. Avoid!

Sheplers Smoky mountain boots

I ordered a pair of boots in red. I waited about 2 weeks for delivery. When they finally arrived, I discovered Shepler's had sent me blue instead of red. I contacted them. No apology from Shepler's, they just told me told me I would have to do an exchange and wait 2-3 weeks after they received the return package for them to process my exchange. They did not offer me free postage, however, I requested this given it was not my fault. I returned the boots using their label, the slowest shipping method. I then got an email saying boots had been received and my case was being processed. I waited without any word from Sheplers. I then called them to check on my case and they told me they had processed a refund instead as the boots (which I had bought at their sale price) were discontinued and out of stock. These boots had been available via Ebay & Amazon when I ordered from Sheplers for about $10 more than the Shepler's sale price. They are no longer available at any of these retailers.

Everybody I dealt with or spoke to at Sheplers was either rude or plain unhelpful. I wasted a lot of time and energy on this case, only to get to this result. Customer service did not even offer me a gift card or something as a good gesture. I will never buy from Sheplers ever again. Very, very poor customer service.

Sheplers Severely overpriced cheap product with bad return policy

Bought a horseshoe wall decor from them (http://www.sheplers.com/Lucky-Horse-Co-To-The-Moon-and-Back-Horseshoe-Wall-Deco... It looked so nice on the website, but when it arrived I was so very disappointed. On the website image it looks like they have wood pieces on the side and copper tags at the bottom. WRONG. All the flat decors are printed papers except for the center silhouette piece, which was also cheaply made.

The only real materials they used are 1 horseshoe, some plastic beads, a (probably premade) metal-like flower (from some crafts store maybe), and a few pieces of patterned papers. And they charge all this for $30? Really?

And worse still, when I looked up their return policy, they are charging "a little" $10 for return handling? I'm still trying to figure out if that's on top of shipping cost. Other companies sometimes do this with a provided shipping slip, which is understandable, but I've never seen companies charge a $10 handling fee for returns. This is robbery.

Sheplers Not a trustworthy company

Received very small shoes and requested an exchange for a bigger size. They gave me a run around and refused to replace. Argued with Sheplers support for a long time and finally they agreed to refund my money. I sent the wrong shoes back and even paid for the return shipping. Later I was told that Sheplers received the shoes and that my refund will be issued any time soon, but I still haven't got my money. Hope they'll keep their promise.

Sheplers Terrible experience

I have ordered a lot of things from Sheplers and they shipped everything in separate packages. When I opened my packages I was very disappointed because some items were damaged and few were missing! Immediately contacted Sheplers customer service and they promised to replace the damage ones and ship the missing ones. But all that they told me was nothing but an empty promise and they did absolutely nothing to help! Never again!

Sheplers Customer Service/Shipping/Sizing

Only one of three shirts ordered arrived here and it was smaller than sized. Three phone calls to Sheplers inquiring about the whereabouts of the other two got me nowhere. The first two reps said there was nothing they could do to help. Asked for a manager the third time and he said he would track them and call me back; never received callback. Shirts were in transit over a month and ended up delivered back to Sheplers instead of to us. Will never do business with them again -- they don't care about the customer.

Sheplers Don't trust them!

This company is a scam. I bought a bedding set for my daughter from Sheplers. It was back in December. Before making an order I contacted customer service. I was told that my order would arrive 5 days before Christmas. Christmas came and went, but the package still hadn't arrived. I called and emailed them, I even tried to cancel the order, but everything was useless. Two weeks ago a package finally showed up on my porch. I was extremely happy, but later I received a message from Sheplers and they told me to ship it back with their label. I asked why and they said that about a month ago I cancelled the order and they shipped it by mistake. Well, I will keep the package, because they say that I cancelled the order, but I never received any refunds.

Sheplers Horrifying experience.

I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes and found something really good looking on Sheplers website. I made an order, but they charged my credit card for two pairs ($500 each)! I immediately called the company, but the line was busy. Then I sent them a message and also received no answer. The next day I tried to call again and finally someone picked up the phone. I explained the situation and told that I wanted only one pair of shoes. The lady on the phone told that the problem would be fixed and the money placed back into my bank. Several days passed and they placed the $500 back, but also took out $100. Later they took another $100 without asking me. Now I need to change my bank account and Sheplers just lost another customer!

Sheplers The customer service is extremely poor!

I purchased two pairs of boots for me and my son. I placed an order about a month ago. Two weeks passed, but there still was no confirmation. I contacted their customer support wondering about the status of my order. I also asked for payment confirmation and tracking number. There was no response, so I called again to inquire about the order. This time, the customer service agent told me that my order had been cancelled and that I would not be receiving the boots at all. An entire month passed and only then they decided to inform me about that. If I had known this earlier, I could have ordered from a different company. It is unacceptable that they do not inform of any changes in the order status. I hope they'll go out of business soon! The customer service is extremely poor!

Sheplers I didn't get shoes and seller ignored my request about refund

I bought shoes for my wedding day from the company www.sheplers.com. The company provided different updates and emails, but all of them were real rubbish. These emails weren’t informative and the seller hasn’t provided the order. I was so angry and sent several emails to the seller, where I asked to return full sum, because I didn’t need their shoes anymore. But the seller didn’t reply and I have no idea what he has decided.

Sheplers Seller is jerk and refused to change the order

I recently bought cowboy shoes and hat from the website www.sheplers.com. I waited a month and finally got the order, but the package looked like piece of crap. I opened it and the all things looked like piece of crap. I tried to return it, but the seller was jerk and refused to take and told me that I ruined the order on purpose. WTF? This guy is real jerk, so stay away from them and post comments if you have the same problems as I.

Sheplers Sending Incorrect Product

I placed an order for a tan toddler boot. Sheplers sent me a pink boot. I needed that tan book for my son to wear to his sister's birthday party one week later. I called the customer service department, and they have absolutely no customer service skills. Even though the order was placed correctly, I was still punished for them sending me the wrong boot. They told me that it would take two weeks to do an exchange. My son would not have the boot for the birthday party unless I purchase the boot again and wait on the refund from the pink boot once it is received by them. I explained to the rep that the boots are already in route but since I am being forced to purchase another pair of boot to have them on time for the party then I guess that what I have to do. I let him know that the paperwork inside the return package had been checked off for exchange. He assured me that he would make note within the system and the boots will be refunded and not exchanged. When the boots arrived back at Sheplers, I did receive a refund. Two days later they had charged my account for the same boots and sent a new pair out without my consent. When I called the customer service department back, they still told me that I would have to return those boots before I would be refunded my money. How can a company continue to make mistakes and continue to make the customer pay for it? This has to be the worse customer service ever... Sheplers has the worse customer service ever.

Sheplers Poor online security

Sheplers & sheplers.com allowed an order with my stolen credit card information to be placed. I tried to contact them & see who had made this charge which wrecked my account & they protected the thief. I tried to see if the person that ordered items with my credit card information had my actual address. I have two small children and would fear for their safety and my own if the person who placed this order online without my permission or knowledge that they were using my information had my address. They would not even verify the ship to address to me until I finally gave it to them. I was concerned about doing this because I had never heard of them and what if they were the ones that stole my information in the first place. After finally telling (Nick G.) my address he said it did not match
Most reputable companies do not allow orders to go through if everything in the billing address does not match the card. I wonder how long they keep on file and how secure other credit card information they receive is protected? When they billed my card it should have popped up a code for the billing address not matching. When someone places an order and this error codes come up and the ship to address does not match the billing address ALARMS should be going off.
How well do you think they protect the information you willingly give them? I would strongly caution anyone from using their site. They allow fraudulent orders to be placed and protect the criminals that place them.

It's actually up to your bank or credit card company to tell the seller if it's fraudulent. In all honesty, they should be the first to know since they're the one's watching the cards activity. The company itself has absolutely no access to that information.

Sheplers Stay away from this company like it's the plague

This store is poor, I ordered a pair of boots December 24th and it said they were in stock, the a couple days later I get an email saying they were out of stock and would ship directly from the manufacturer on 1/07/11, then on then on 1/07/11 I get an email saying they were out of stock and would ship on 1/20/11 ship directly from the manufacturer, on 1/20/11 I get an email saying they were still out of stock and would ship directly from the manufacturer on 01/27/11, so i check Sheplers website and on their site it says they are in, so I write Sheplers and get some lame excuse that it's not their fault because they are shipping directly from the manufacturer So i guess what happens rather then fulfilling existing orders they restock their own stock first and big deal they offered me a 10% discount on a future order after the boots ship, which don't help me any because I will never order from them again.

Stay away from this company like it's the plague, unless you like poor service.

Sheplers Very expensive shipping and bad customer service

Beware of very expensive shipping and bad customer service. I received a shirt from Sheplers that I didn't like and wanted to return it. I would have to pay shipping again to return it to them. Shipping was slow after I placed the order and shipped US Mail. At the rate I was charged, I was thinking UPS. Waited for a return call from manager but they never calIed. I will take my money elsewhere and will never shop with them again. Be careful on what you order because you will pay shipping again if you don't like it.

Like you give a s**t what we say you already have our money and covered your [censored] on the return policy . Jeans were to big even though they were the size I wear 34 x 34 . Should Have known this was a bad idea, Thank You for the screwing .

I places a order with Sheplers from Vancouver B.C. Canada on August 2, 2016. Order process stated shipping as "2nd Day Air" NO OTHER OPTION available. After 6 days I contacted vendor to follow-up on status. Finally got order and shipping confirmation on August 8th. When I contacted Sheplers to question their shipping delay and cost of same I was told "International" shipping was 4~8 days "After order being places". I gave them and ear full!.
2nd day air via approximately $36.85 US ($49.75 CDN) Plus Brokerage & Taxes another $25.00CDN.
This outfit is a ripoff for anyone dealing with them from Canada.
Sheplers is highly NOT recommend!

Unless you like aggravation do not deal with this company. They continued to charge a card I reported stolen to them even after I gave them a new card. Orders were submited to closed account. They stated they were unable to correct this.Also continue to call & e-mail the wrong numbers & email. INEPT! Prices very high. Unless you live in Somalia go to the store & try on & get the item immediately. Worst company ever. No customer service. You don't need them & I don't trust them with credit card info. Stay away

Yes! Their "FREE SHIPPING" is only ONE WAY; however, I was told that I should have read all of the fine print in order to have known this. That's the only way to know that their free shipping isn't necessarily free? The item I ordered was not as I was told it would be and STILL Shepler's c.s. girl acted like it was my fault for not reading every bit of fine print on their website...even though I first checked and double checked with the boot manufacturer about the product. She actually just said that they never have any wide boots in the store and there is no way...bla bla bla. This store has a pretty bad approach to customer service which IS their prerogative. I worked in customer service for a long time in several different types of businesses and find Shepler's treatment far less than average. Shepler's will no longer be on my shopping list.
