After reading the reviews and I want to kick myself for signing a contract to have my dormer installed by Shells only. I have had nothing but problems.
They use a company named Mr. Pipe that does the plumbing and they have caused water damage in areas of my home and have damaged my newly refinished wood floors. I have been working with "Supervisor Ryan" that can do nothing but state that he's sorry or have been busy. I have forked over a large amount of money to have to pay again for there screw ups. I was told that even though their plumber installed the heating in my dormer they do not run the line or install the thermostat to control the heat to the baseboard heat they installed. Did I also mention that the siding installers cracked my window on my house that I had repaired or a large whole was made in my front lawn that I had my landscaping to repair. On one of the coldest nights I lost heat and had to make a emergency call to have another plumber restore my heat. The other complaint about Shells only is so right, things that are stated in the original agreement get changed and you are left with having to shell out more money using Shells only. Take my advise Do Not Sign That Contract. You will be left with nothing but regrets.

I called in Shells Only to my new home for an estimate of new bathroom, kitchen, plumbing and much other needed work. Denny was the rep that came down. He met with us and I voiced my interest in having the work done relatively quickly, due to the fact that we were not able to live in the home in it's present condition. He was very sweet and told me that I should make the trip to his showroom that Weekend in Babylon to choose a vanity, granite and cabinets so that he could have an accurate estimate for me.
Although I was quite busy with the home and many trades I was eager to get Shell's estimate, and begin my work ASAP, so I went to their showroom that weekend. I met with Denny as well as a salesgirl and chose all of the items needed to proceed with the estimate. Denny promised I would have the estimate by that Monday/Tuesday. It is now 10 days later and I have placed 4 calls to this Shell game company. Their customer service is AWFUL! I am quite happy that I did not get involved with them in the first place. THIS IS A WARNING TO THE NEXT HOME OWNER! MOVE ON. USE SOMEONE ELSE. THEY WILL ONLY BE A HEADACHE!
