Paragon Honda Service on my honda 2012 civic

Wanted to know why the tpms light wouldn't go off. They picked up the car and later called to say the tire was bad and that was the reason. They would replace the tire for $237.00 for one tire. I refused, told them to bring the car. He then said the transmission and brake fluid needed replacement but it would be $400.00 for that. I knew my car was sounding strange, so I let him put it in, even though I let them know what I thought about that. With all the bad reviews I see now, I'm surprised they are still in business. Never again

Desired outcome: I don't think anything will happen so I'm not saying

Paragon Honda I am writing to address a very unsatisfactory and disappointing experience

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the service I recently received at your Honda service center. As a loyal Honda customer since 2010, I have always appreciated the quality and reliability of Honda vehicles. However, my recent experience has left me extremely dissatisfied.

On June 11th, I brought my Honda Pilot 2019 to your service center at 9:57 am to address an alert on the display indicating a "Blind Spot System Problem." I was informed by your staff that the repair would take approximately 3-4 hours. Later that day, around 3 pm, I called to inquire about the status of my car, and the advisor was unable to provide any concrete information, suggesting that it may not be ready until an unspecified time. Faced with the need to use my car for work on Monday, I decided to retrieve it despite the unresolved issue.

A few days later, on Friday, June 16th, I scheduled a pick-up and drop-off service for my car. The car was picked up promptly at 10 am, and I started receiving messages regarding its whereabouts. At approximately 11:21 am, I received a call from a mechanic named Rajinder Kumar, who inquired about the issues with my car. I explained the recurring "Blind Spot System Problem" and its inability to display objects or vehicles in close proximity. Mr. Kumar assured me that he would investigate the issue and get back to me shortly. True to his word, he called back after just five minutes to inform me that there was also a pending recall on my car, and he would address it along with the initial problem. I was pleased with his proactive approach and his willingness to take care of both my car and my concerns as a customer.

However, my disappointment resurfaced when, at 4:27 pm, I received a call from the driver, Boris, notifying me that he would be dropping off the car shortly. I met him outside and, before accepting the car, I checked the display to ensure that the problem had been resolved. To my dismay, the same message of "Blind Spot System Problem" was still being displayed. I immediately informed Boris of the ongoing issue, but he was unable to provide any insight and mentioned that he would pass along the message for me. As he was in a rush, he had to leave promptly, leaving me unsatisfied and with an unresolved problem.

Subsequently, I reached out to the Paragon Honda service desk and spoke to Ashley, who was sympathetic and listened attentively to my grievance. She attempted to connect me with the service manager but unfortunately, after some time on hold, the call was disconnected. I called again and spoke to a gentleman named Omar, who assured me that he would ensure the service manager contacted me. Regrettably, it is now Sunday, 11:22 am, and I have not received a single call from the service manager.

I must emphasize that I have never encountered such a disheartening experience in my long association with Honda. As a loyal customer, I have come to expect prompt and efficient service that meets the highest standards of quality. The fact that my initial problem remains unresolved and that my subsequent attempts to address the issue have been met with negligence is deeply concerning.

Desired outcome: I kindly request that you urgently address this matter and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. As a customer, I expect my concerns to be taken seriously.

Worst service ever I have bumper to bumper coverage and rims and tires from Honda I'm with my new born in car when my tire light comes on so I go straight to honda service center. When I get there all employees are all stuck on the phone or on there cell phones so now I'm there just sitting and waiting for someone to see me. Finally after 15 minutes they see me then the service agent tell me it's going to be 2 to 3 hours before I get my car mind you I have my new born with me and it's only to check 1 tire

Paragon Honda rip off

I am so annoyed! I

Purchased a pre owned certified 2016 Honda Accord 17000 miles from the beginning I called about the windows I was told it needed to be reset. 9 months into my purchase I noticed the paint easily chips and peels. Then the first hot day I turn on the ac and it’s not blowing out of the vents. Finally frustrated I call make my appointment have my son drop me at work bring it in. After 6 hours they call

Me and tell

Me I need a window relay which is 1000.00. Nothing is wrong with the ac it needs a cabin filter that apparently it’s filthy never been changed.🤦🏻‍♀️That’s 109.00 so is it me or should these things be working a year after purchase especially when I purchased a warranty?! How does a vehicle with 17000 miles paint peel and chip ac is clogged and window relay need to be replaced? I’m currently still on hold it’s now 56 and counting minutes on hold

Waiting on manager! waste of time energy and money . They donot care about their customers . Once they get the sale

That’s it you are on your own. So disgusted I was about to purchase another vehicle through them, I will not!

Desired outcome: Fix my car !!

Worst customer service worst service center I’ve ever dealt with. scam scam scammers ! I’m going to bring it to a closer Honda and have them look at it and write up what the problem is then Iill be sure to contact an attorney. This has to fall under some

Kind of lemon law . Bbb here I come.

Paragon Honda Service

I have been buying cars from paragon since 1999 1 to 2 cars every 3 years.

And I have never experienced such dissatisfaction. Been using your service department the whole time. So, it started off with a cracked taillight that supposedly is causing my car not to go into drive the estimate was 895$ for a taillight. I called my insurance company to handle the claim. I have been getting nothing but attitude from your service writer mehdi go's by matt his contact is [protected]. Calls from private #s all he cares about is the 149$ diagnostic fee. My cars been there since monday the adjuster should be coming tomorrow wednesday. Now he is sending text like this in all caps telling me to come pick up my car and have the adjuster come to my house. Now that's not acceptable my car is stuck in the park, not safe to drive, you have like 4 lots my car is not the space problem.

Desired outcome: proper treatment as a customer. I would like my car repaired its only 24 months old. I would like this letter addressed.

Paragon Honda Service

1 star is actually a compliment for this place. I loathe taking my car to this service center but my Honda has an AC recall, it keeps making weird noises so here we are. My car is no longer covered my the warranty, however the representative that helped me did not mention that because of this, I had to pay $165 just for them to take a look. Initially I was told the $165 charge was for having the power outlet changed (something I specifically said I did not want). And this is my problem with them, they always no matter what will charge you an x amount of money. Or they will lie and say your car needs several things fixed so they the bill you at least $800-$1, 000. Also, their current manager was incredibly condescending, sexist and rude when we talked over the phone regarding the $165 charge. He said: "Do you think my technician is going take a look at your car for free? Who's going to pay him?". If that's how he treats the customers, I can only imagine the hell his employees must go through with him, especially the female ones.

Paragon Honda Battery

When I first entered the establishment there was nobody there to greet me. I went and asked a gentleman can I get a battery please. He said no I don't think we can because we are closing in 30 min. His co worker came and he asked are we closing and he said no. I got excited! Being that I had to leave work early and leave my kids with a babysitter because it was such last min. However the gentleman again tells me. Go to parts and get a battery. I was confused because why am I purchasing a battery. I need to talk with someone about warranty first before I go and purchase a battery.
Now I'm looking around for someone to help me and still nothing. So I go back to the gentleman in front after 15-20 min waiting at parts. He finally tells me to go in the office. But he needs to give me a form first before I head in.
Can I ask why wasn't that the first thing he should have told me. So now time has passed I waited so long for someone to greet me. Ask for my help and nothing!
I had to stop Javier and ask him. Am I wasting my time here to get a battery because it's 3:56 and I know you close at 4.
So he nicely said yeah unfortunately we can't assist you.
I'm very frustrated and I didn't feel like I was being helped which is a bad experience to me.

Desired outcome: Unprofessional and poor customer service

Paragon Honda Identity Theft and Fraud

After dropping the car at Honda Paragon in Woodside for a battery change, a salesman kept contacting us by phone about a deal on a new car. When we returned to pick up our car we listen to what he was offering and told him we are considering it but then we left because it was late. No final deal was made, nothing was signed etc
Later that night we realized that the car he was trying to give us was added to our insurance. After we left he called our insurance, pretended he was the policy holder and added the car. Without ever informing us. That's fraud. The insurance is working on getting us the call recording.
We informed his boss about this and he was extremely rude and tried to make excuses for the guy who committed fraud. We will take this to Honda HQ and every authority that deals with this type of issue.
The behavior and actions of the salesman and the manager we spoke with are unacceptable and even criminal.

Paragon Honda Obnoxious and unprofessional behavior from staff and management

These people are major crooks. They will try to squeeze every possible dollar from you, sale you anything and everything which is not required or ever needed. Avoid this place at all cost or prepare yourself to spend more than you can afford it and to have major headache afterwards. When you go there to fix one thing, they will find 10 other things and make you think they need to be done right away. If you say no or do not agree with them they will treat you with disrespect and hold your car for the whole day. They really do not care because they know how to get around and make honda pay for it. They will lie, make threats and they don't really care if you like it or not... Safe yourself your valuable time and money, tell your friends and family to avoid this place at all cost!

Paragon Honda Inflated car prices, crooks and con artists, deceptive practices

The general manager name at Paragon Honda should Brain Laughingstock not Brain Benstock. This place is total mess, when you enter sales people are practically hunting, harassing you in very possible way without any limits. Don't believe me check the number of complaints and legal cases filled against Paragon Honda and Paragon Acura. They are totally dishonest and unprofessional in every aspect - during sale, after sale and when servicing your car. Most of the positive reviews here are fake and written you know by who... Please don't waste your time and shop else where, and don't even try to contact this LaughingStock manager...he is a total joke! Word of advice do your own research online, shop and compare what others paid for similar car with similar features then shop at place of your choice and don't be afraid to walk out and get better price elsewhere. Always print out your research and have it with you when shopping for a car. Spread the word tell your friends, family and relatives to stay away from the crooks at Paragon Honda and Paragon Acura! Also when buying and signing any type of document always quickly snap a photo and have it for your records, just in case anyone wants to pull fast one ...you will have all the proof that you need to easily win in court. Consequently if you feel it is necessary don't feel ashamed to voice or video record the whole interaction without them knowing it...in New York city you do not need other party consent to record. Happy and Smart Buying!

Paragon Honda Terrible customer service, starting with GM Brian

My name is Jordan. My experience began just fine. I walked in, purchased a car, and left. Shortly after that, I experienced a small problem with one of the tires. Fine, no big deal, I bring it back and they fix it. All is well with the car going forward.
A year later, when looking to rotate the tires, there was a problem that I wanted to discuss with the service shop of Paragon. This is where things progress downward. The problem with Paragon Honda is not in the mechanics themselves, or the work they provide. My issue was there was no one EVER available to speak with. I left multiple messages with the call center. I was told every time I called that no one was available to talk to me, and that I could leave a message. Combining phone calls from Tuesday until Saturday, I spent (based on the total of call duration in my cell phone, 72 minutes on the phone with the call center.
On one occasion, I spoke with a person in the service station. They were unable to answer any of the questions I had directly. I asked to speak with a manager, a gentleman named Alex I was informed. However, as expected, he was unable to talk to me at the time. So of course, I leave a message. That was Thursday.
Saturday comes, and my wife can't wait anymore. She decides to take the car to the dealership and have them take a look. She was confronted with a number of questions as to why she didn't make an appointment. My wife explained that I had spent over an hour attempting to contact someone in the service center with no success. At this point, at least they take the car in and tell her 2-3 hours. She dropped the car prior to 11:00 a.m.
By 3:30, with no call from the dealership, my wife goes back to the shop. I from here spent more time attempting to speak with SOMEONE, ANYONE who can tell me what the status is. Again, no one is available at the service station to take my call. I refuse to leave a message because by this time what would be the point? From here, I am transferred multiple times to many different lines.
At this time, I get the name of the GM, Brian. This itself took 6 phone transfers to reach a mailbox. On his voicemail, he provides a cell phone number (very quickly, so fast that I had to go through the process again of transfers and holding to get to his voicemail to be ready to take down the cell number) and I leave a message.
I call the Sales department. Here is one of the first bright spots. A gentleman who is new to the job as he adds, does try his very hardest to connect me with someone in the service department. Good on him, sorry for not remembering your name. A man, Rafael, I believe, again does his best to find out the status of the car. It is at this time, nearing or passing 4:00. He tells me it is ready. Very good, ok.
I call Brian on his cell phone. To his credit, he does answer. At this point, all I want to do is inform him that the service his dealership provides is below expectations. I express my complaints as I listed them above. The focus Brian took was to the service provided by the mechanics themselves. This is NOT what I, at ANY point, was unhappy with. I was not pleased to spend over an hour on the phone between Tuesday and Saturday to find out if something is covered by the station or not. I did what I could to express that to him, but again his focus was on the mechanics themselves. I end the call with Brian telling me he will get in touch with Anthony, the manager of the service station.
My wife calls, no managers are in the shop, go figure. She was treated rudely by all but ONE individual in the establishment. The man she dropped the car off with would not talk to her. No one would tell her that the car was ready.
Shortly after, Brian calls me back. At this point he has a 1-way conversation, where he WOULD NOT stop talking to allow me to respond to him AT ANY time. He accuses me of lying about previous work done to the car. Again, his only focus appears to be on the mechanics, which is the least of any issue I had. At one point I actually told him, "You are being condescending." His response was along the lines, and this is a paraphrase, "I listened to your complaints, now you will listen to me talk." Unacceptable. I told him that I can see the attitude that is pervasive throughout the company comes straight from the top. His tone and overall nature are indicative of most of his employees. I did manage to not curse at him and hang up. *Pat on my back*
Next, and this is the ONLY reason this is not 1 star, Anthony calls me. He had been trying to get me the entire time Brian was holding his one-sided "conversation" with me. This man is THE ONLY PERSON worth a damn at this place. THE ONLY PERSON who expressed sheer embarrassment on behalf of the service not provided by his shop. He even went so far as to provide my wife and I with his personal phone number, where he offered to "take care of anything we need with the car" including oil changes. A kind gesture, although unfortunately too late.

Paragon Honda So never trust any sales guy or finance manager from Paragon Honda

I bought a car Honda crv 2011. I kept a down payment for $2000 dollars and $335 for registration. They never mentioned $2000 as down payment in the paper. The registration fee was $335 and never try to refund me back the change. Mr. Gary the finance manager of Paragon Honda told me Honda care protection is free till the end of 60 days but finally he told me its not free. The Honda care protection was $2400 dollars. He never mentioned my interest rate. So i never recommend any body to buy any cars from Paragon Honda. I even went to different Honda dealership and they told me Paragon Honda tries to take your money in a different way.

So never trust any sales guy or finance manager from Paragon Honda. Try to ask as many questions as you can. Try going to different Honda dealer than paragon. Please i suffered i don't want other people to suffer.

This is a terrible scam from Paragon Honda. I got my own experience that they charged my credit card after signed contract for $1300 more than it supposed to be and rejected return it back saying that I have to pay more. This is what you can expect from this Paragon deals. You will lose your car, money and time. Avoid this place.

Paragon Honda Terrible Customer Service

I began a lease transaction in the Paragon Honda Showroom. After much thought, I realized that I was being ripped off and could get a much better deal. I told the salesperson that I was no longer interested. After he repeatedly lowered the price, which was more insulting ( because he could have offered a lower price to begin with), we parted ways. Iwas told that I would be credited for $4, 000 ( that had been debited at the start of the transaction). It is almost two weeks later, after to speaking to host of representatives, I do not have my money. I am a hardworking person and feel as though I have been taken advantage of. I will continue to complain until my money is refunded.

Paragon Honda Dealer Fraud

I am currently serving in the US Army in Germany. I was involved in an accident that totaled my 2004 Honda Pilot. My wife and I agreed on trying to find a 1 to 2 year old Honda Pilot for sale in the US and have it shipped to us in Germany since my insurance company was willing to pay for shipment of a replacement vehicle. I found what appeared to be a good deal on a 2009 certified Honda Pilot with only 4800 miles and advertised for 29, 995 at Paragon Honda in Woodside New York. The buying process was very strange as I expected them to send me paperwork to sign as part of the buying process. After having the vehicle shipped to Germany I recieved the title, Bill of sale and other paperwork when the vehicle was delivered. I noticed that all the paperwork that required my signature in the purchase of this vehicle had been forged by someone at Paragon Honda. I also noticed that the vehicle was dirty on inspection. After looking at the vehicle further I also noticed that there was paint overspray on all of the plastic trim of the vehicle as well as signs that clear coat had run in many areas, paint cracking and a body panel that was unpainted on the inside. I am convinced that this vehicle was wrecked and that this has been hidden from my knowledge. This vehicle was listed on Paragon Hondas Certified tab on their website and had a sticker on it when it was delivered that states " this vehicle has undergone an extensive evaluation and reconditioning process completed by trained professionals at this authorized Honda dealership". To this date Paragon Honda refuses to acknowledge the vehicle was sold to me as a certified vehicle despite proof from me . This certification process should have included a 150 pt vehicle inspection which was never conmpleted. It should also include an additional 12, 000 mile 12 month manufacturer warranty added to the end of the original warranty. So this dealership has: taken advantage of a service member serving his country overseas, forged my signature, hidden damage to this vehicle from me and carried out Consumer Fraud . They have also tried to buy me off by offering me floor mats and Bug deflector if I will just go away. How is that for a consumer complaint.

I have been training with the US Army. Last time I talked to Joe C. he insisted that the extended contract started from the original in service date but it clearly ststes in the Honda Care extended warranty contract that on a used vehicle that the warranty starts at the service contract service date and at the mileage on the odometer on that date. I am deploying to Afghanistan soon and am willing to agree to Joes resolution to this problem as long as he honors the 7 year 100, 00 extended warranty from the date the car was purchased as outlined in the service contract. Thanks for your time Glen Mykytiuk

This is the response I sent to Brian with no response in 7 days now. I have talked to Joe about my complaints many times with no resolution. This is the bottom line, I was never given the opportunity to review the paperwork in the car buying process and never signed a single document. Everything that required my signature was forged by someone other than myself without proper authorization from me. I can easily prove that the signature on these documents is not mine. I can also prove that this vehicle was in an accident that required the replacement of a fender and repainting of the entire vehicle, a vehicle with only 4800 miles. I also have documentation from your dealership that this vehicle was listed as a certified car and was advertised as having been through the 150 point certification inspection process. Joe has offered me an extended warranty that doesn’t cover any body parts or paint, one of my main complaints. The fact that one of your salesman was allowed to carry out these acts against me with no reprisals against him from you or your staff is stunning. In the Army we live by values, LOYALTY, DUTY RESPECT, SELFLESS SERVICE, HONOR, INTEGRITY, PERSONAL COURAGE, HOW ABOUT YOUR ORGANIZATION? I know that none of this would have happened if I would have been present for the purchase of this vehicle which basically means I was taken advantage of because I was not there during the buying process.

We are in the process of reviewing your entire transaction, and I want you to know that we take your allegations very seriously. Upon a final review we will discuss all available options with you and we will come to a resolution that is mutually acceptable.

After a brief revief of e-mails sent back and forth between you and the store it appears that you authorized a gentleman to review the vehicle and the documents on your behalf. This gentleman was known by you and authorized to accept the vehicle on your behalf.

It is my further understanding that you then wire transferred funds into our account for the vehicle. Indeed, it would have been benificial if you had been able to do the inspection and review of the vehicle in person, however, your current location prevented this from happening.

Joe C. has been in contact with you and he has full authority to resolve this matter to your full satisfaction.

Regards,
Brian Benstock

Paragon Honda Horrible Customer Service bad Organization

I had my car towed to paragon Honda on a Sunday morning because my car wouldnt start. I waited for a call until 3pm Sunday when i called there myself. I was advised by a female in the service department that my car was being worked on and they will call me as soon as theyre done. I never recieved a call that day. I called back monday morning at 10am and was told i would be getting a call from Edwin in the service department within the hour about my car. by 2pm i still didnt recieve a call. I called them again and finally got Edwin on the phone. When i asked him if he knew what was wrong with my car he told me "Well see the problem with your car is that it wont start" Honestly i wanted to scream at him. I know my car doesnt start thats why i had to have it towed to honda! useless info from Edwin. Then he told me they havent even looked at my car yet. I have a warrenty with honda for 8 years which includes a rental car for these circumstances. I told him i have a 2 year old who just happends to be sick at this point in time and i need either a rental or my car now. He told me they cannot give me a rental until they know if the problem is under warranty. So when will you know what the problem is i said. He told me when we get a chance to look at your car. I hung up on him. (I was at work by the way dealing with them by phone) Then i called back and asked for a supervisor who i asked for a straight answer. Just tell me whats going on with my car! I wouldve rather towed it somewhere else and paid for whatever it is thats wrong. Still waiting on monday night for a phone call from Paragon Honda. NEVER again will i take my car to them. Id rather pay someone to fix it than get it done for free at paragon. After talking to my husband weve decided we are going to trade in our HONDA a get a different car by a different maker and let everyone we know NOT to go to PARAGON HONDA.

I bought a honda civic care last night form norther blv, at 9pm, Monica( [protected]) the representative came to my house at 9 pm to have a look on the car, i liked it, it paid and got it, but at 8am i found it having a damage in the front, we wentto her but she said that we did it, i need somebody to examin the car, to see if it an old or new accident.
You can not let your dealers cheet people like that, that is unexpected from Honda.

I ahve call numerous times and was always left with the same answer- " you will have it soon". Iam taking them to small claim court since i have clear recid from one of the sales persons.
