Ok, so here it goes... I bought a TV from overstock and it had audio issues. Luckily I purchased the protection plan and so called and they scheduled a time for the service people to come over. Sounds good? Well, thats the only good part in this story.
The service people changed the scheduled appointment at the last minute. They came over and did not check or anything and simply picked up the TV and took it away. When I asked when to expect to hear from them, they just said, "We'll call you in a few days". A week later, I called them up and and they had no update. Another couple of days later, they said that they cant find the part so overstock.com will work with me on a replacement or refund. Called overstock a week later, they said that they have only received information and I will have to wait two weeks till their techs look at the issue and verify that the TV cant be fixed. Called them on the day they asked me to and voila no update! Part not available, they will contact me within a week. Called again within a week and they said that someone will call me within the next week to go over the buyout details or replacement TV. Ofcoarse, no one ever called. So just called them again. Was told that they did find a part for the TV and its on backorder so I would have to wait 45 days. If the part does not become available within 45 days then they will discuss the details with me. WTF!!! Its been two months since they took my tv and now I am supposed to wait another 45 days.
You are much better off buying something from best buy, do not waste your time and energy buying an electronic from overstock, atleast I never will.
