Kwik Kar front desk clerk

I have to preface this by saying everyone else at my Frisco Main Street location is fantastic and well-mannered, but the front desk clerk is abhorrently rude and dismissive, often shoving me off and phone customers off when they have specific questions. Not too certain of what her name is but she has a nose stud and she was there 11/6/2017. I came in, asking if I could get my car serviced, and she just slipped me a form and asked the technician to come talk to me. I was filling out the form while talking to him and eventually I finished and she asked "and you're waiting here?" to which I smiled and nodded, before she said "because I literally can't read that handwriting, rewrite it". I work in customer service and I know how horrible that is to just outright say. I walked off for a moment before realizing that the guest wi-fi needed a password and it wasn't up on the screen, so I regrettably had to come back to her when she had a phone customer and an in-store customer. On the phone, she was somewhat hostile to the customer, saying "this is the phone number, I literally called early" before sighing angrily. Once again, I have to say, the rest of the staff is great and does an awesome job, and I trust Kwik Kar with any problem I have, but it's a bit disheartening when the person you're speaking to 80% of the time is just incordial to deal with.

Kwik Kar car inspection and ac

I came to the Denton store to make an ispection for my car. After they finished the inspection, they asked me for other issues in my car. I told them that my AC sometime does not cool very well when I park the car. They made a check and told it cost 89. I said no thanks. After I left the store I immediately noticed that my AC does not cool at all. I came back to the store and talked to the manager and he was unrespectful and talked to me irregently. He told me that he will only fill 1 kg of freon and he is not responsible if the AC works as usual or not. I told him that I only wanted my AC to work as it was before I came to the store. After he filled the 1 kg of freon, the AC still does not work as usual even if drive it for 30 mintes at night.

Kwik Kar kwik kar 8280 spring valley rd, dallas, tx 75240

I have bad experience with this kiwik kar shop, I have issue in my car, I want there to fix it, the manager told me 85$ to check first for the problem, I said OK, he did his check for the problem and he ask me to buy a part from o'reilly cust me 185$, I buy this part and after he replaced the part, it was wrong, nothing fixed in my car, he charge me 85$ and I buy the part for 185$ and the car didn't fixed. Asked him to give me my money back he said no and he refers me to go to another shop. I advise everyone to don't go to this shop to lose your time and money.
If I have less than one start I will give 0 start.
The manager is the worst, bad attitude and he doesn't even know what is to smile or tall polite to customers, absolutely don't go to this place
Those people they don't now Nothing on the mechanics, just they stole people's money.

I lose 2 days $260 I will never go back there

Kwik Kar oil change

Took my car in to get an oil change and come to find out they never completeld the work. I had to tak my car somewhere else because it was acting up come to find out I barely any oil in the car. The manager would not help out in any way. He was very rude and would not ammit his mistake and would not give me a refund on the work that was incomplete.

Kwik Kar service

I took my car to Kwik Kar in Richmond (77469) for a simple oil change. when I got here, the manager told that my car didnt had enough fluids and collent and made me purchase "Royal Flush service" for $470. The manager did a test drive and said I dont have to worry about anything for a long time. As soon as I left, I start hearing noice under the hood. since I didnt had time, I thought of coming back the next day. But next day morning, on my way to office (around 5miles) after I started) the car completely turned off. I towed it back to Kwik Kar and the employees have no idea as to what is going on. theh are saying that they need to check the engine.

Need some help to get a honest check on this. I dont think its coincidence that they worked on my car last evening and my car broke down this morning.

Kwik Kar car inspection

I was trying to get my car inspected and they told me I couldn't get the car inspected when I had the insurance card cause I had five cars on my insurance and all I asked is how come I've never had this problem before and they kicked me out for raising my voice, it was the poorest service I've ever seen anyplace. I could not believe how rude and incompetent the service was.

Kwik Kar oil change

Took my vehicle in for an oil change. I was quite $56 and some change but when it came time to pay, I got charged over $67 because apparently they were out of the oil filter that comes with the oil change and had to use a different brand which was $12 more. I was not told this until the oil change was complete. If I was told prior to the service, I would have went to the other location down the road to save myself money and get a free car wash (which by the way, this location did not offer the free car wash). I feel like I was taken advantage of. It wasn't my fault they were out of that oil filter. I believe I shouldn't have been charged. I did voice my opinion on the what happened. All he had to say was sorry. It was only 12 bucks but I will not do business with kwick kar again.

Kwik Kar brake service

Do not use this place! They do not stand behind their work. I used to like this location then the changed ownership. Downhill ever since. They are constantly up selling saying you need this or that done to the car. When I take it to another location, they say it is fine. Most recently, they told me I needed new brakes. I was leaving town and wanted to be safe so against my better judgement I allowed them to change my brakes. Ever since the brakes squealed at stop signs. I gave it a few weeks and took it back to them. They said they were fine and didn't know why they were squealing. Said I had small groves on the rotors that might be causing it. I told them I was going to a brake shop to get them looked at. Brakes plus on ohio told me the truth. Kwik kar had put the cheapest brakes made on the car and that was where the squealing was coming from. I took the brakes off my car and took them to kwik kar to get it resolved. I was met with excuses and said they would not do anything about it since I did not bring it back to them for resolution. I explained several times that I did bring it back on oct 3rd. These guys care nothing about customer service and only to get as much money as possible from you. Crooks!

Kwik Kar incompetent, and useless manager - this place is a ripoff

8/20/2016 I was watching them change my oil, first the manager was adding oil and spilled it all over the engine. Then he started the car before changing the oil filter. I asked him why he started the car with clean oil and a dirty oil filter, he said it wouldn't matter. I finally got him to change the oil a second time. Then he tried to have me change to another type of oil to clean the engine better. My car is a 2014 chrysler with only 18000 miles on it, there is nothing wrong with the car. This place is a joke, one big scam!

Kwik Kar mechanic/drugs/alcohol

This location has knowingly employed a mechanic who sells & uses drugs, even while at work. He drives customer vehicle's while intoxicated. I & a couple of other people have informed his employer only to be told not to harass them & they hang up. Even in person management staff disregards the warnings. He has recent DUIs & DWIs yet is still allowed to drive customers vehicles at least 100 miles. And he does not have a valid Texas license. If a company is willing to employ people such as these... You are responsible for any & all legal issues, vehicular manslaughter included, just as much as him if not more. He is a drug addict. What is this management's reason?

My son went to get an oil change and nothing was explained to him such as the cost and options. He was charged $85, I mean I was charged $85 since he use my card. The car has 62k miles. So it wasn't like he need the high mileage oil. The receipt has $38.99 for full service oil and $40 for synthetic upcharge plus other misc fees. I would think for that price the oil would need to be change every 5-6k but nope it has to be change every 3k miles. My car has over 160k and I pay $70 for an oil change that last 5-6k miles. The guy took my son for a fool and just did what he felt like doing without even asking. I think it's bs and a rip-off. I have been to other kwik kar to get my oil change and they always explain to me the options available. This location is terrible and need a new process in handling their customers.

Kwik Kar lies

I went to get an oil change and the following day, in less than 24 hours i had to stop after 10 mins of driving. The car started overheating, the oil light turned on as well as the check engine light. Luckily i was close to NTB, who were able to look at car
and noticed the car had no oil. I wasnt able to drive the car back, it had to be towed to kwik kar since supposedly they had done an oil change the day bfore. The next day, they called to tell me my water pump had busted and the coolant was leaking. This happned in less 24 hours of them
changing the oil and according to receipt i got them, everything was checked and working fine.Their response to this was that
its a normal thing for the water pump to bust open and coolant to start leaking, even tough it was one day after thy had checked everythng. NTB told me all of this was caused tue to no oil in the car, which caused everything to overheat. Now kwik kar wants to charge me 480.00 to fix my car, when everything
was fine before i took my car for a simple oil change. This is the worst place i have ever been to to get an oil change. Never again am i coming here.

Kwik Kar charged services not done

I took my car for a state inspection on 5-30-15 at 51, 618 miles
They charged me for
Power Steering Flush 79.99
Brake Flush 79.99
2x disposal fee 9.00

I took my car to Lute Riley Honda on 8-22-15 at 55, 617 miles
Was informed my power steering flush and brake flush were dirty and need done.

When I called kwik kar, Curtis Barryer, he argued that Honda is at fault trying to sell services to me and that's what they do and I'm wrong and should have driven back to them in 100 degree weather yesterday.

I'm not wrong, I told him I would never use them again he was unprofessional and I'm a dissatisfied client. I have lived her a block from them and used them the past 10 years and they cannot prove there staff did or did not so arguing with the client is unnecessary

Kwik Kar service standards

I used to love Kwik Kar because they provide a great service. However, I went today to their store to change my car engine oil and the guy their told me that my car will take 45 minutes. But it took 2 hours instead ! They even did not clean the car from the inside as they used to. I even asked their employee if they clean my car or not and he said yes ! but when I went to check my car. It was't clean at all ! I have been a customer for Kwik Kar for four years now, but I think that is going to change soon.

Kwik Kar wrongful diagnosis

I have been a loyal customer of Kwik Kar for almost 10 years now. When I last got my oil change in Norman they told me my brake pedal was low and I should have it checked. When I took it in later, they quoted me $958.17 in repairs . I later took it to a local repair shop that had been in business for 28 years and received excellent reviews online for a second opinion. They told me after inspection that my brakes were in perfect functioning order and that my rotors looked next to new and were without rust.

The "Manager" Ronald at this business is rude, and has no business dealing with the public. He's rude, arrogant, and he changes oil for a living!

This is Marty's Widow.

Today I got a call from the cops saying there was an accident. My husband who wrote this review was killed instantly. They said the brakes were not working. We should have trusted Kwik Kar's. If we did he would still be alive right now. Sad it was 12 hours since he posted.

Kwik Kar oil change

Went to Kwik Kar becaue they advertised a $19.99 oil change yet when done they said its $42.30! The Manger name Amir was saying my oil filter was special, yet during the whole time I was there waiting not one word about it. They also put the wrong type of oil, I said I wanted Penzoil, the put Castrol instead. when I told them I wanted Penzoil the manager Amir, said I didn't say I wanted Penzoil and he wasn't going to change the oil again and I have to pay the amount. He was very rude and walked away when I was talking.

Kwik Kar air conditioner repair on auto

I took my car for a/c service on Thursday 6/14. Jerrod told me I just needed freon and that he would check all belts and hoses and check a/c for leaks. When I picked up the car, the a/c was blowing warm, but car was sitting in sun and I didn't think much about it. As I was driving hm, the a/c was blowing warmer and then hotter. When I called Jerrod to tell him the a/c was blowing hot and the car was over heating, he was very unconcerned and said I should wait for the mechanic (Nathan) to return on Friday 6/15. When Nathan called to tell me there were 2 holes in 1 of the hoses, I asked him why Jerrod did not see that before I picked up the car. I realized they had lied to me when It cost $324.00 to fix the 2 holes in the hose when Jerrod said it would cost $78.00 for freon service and he would check for leaks. A/c still doesn't work and the car runs hot now. I cannot afford to get it serviced by a reputable shop. I confronted Jerrod and asked him why he didn't see the holes in the hose when he did the leak check, and Jerrod became aggressive and said he did what he was supposed to, which means he knew the hose had holes and let me leave the shop knowing the service was not done correctly. He knew I would have to return to get the hoses fixed and it would cost much more for the the mechanic to fix the car. I have been a customer for 8 years. I am deeply disappointed by the indifference and dishonesty displayed by a shop I thought was honest and trustworthy. I have tried to contact the actual owners Suzanne and James Wilde. I have to contact Kwik Kar Corporate, but they hide behind their statement that "All locations are independently owned and operated". I am deeply disappointed that 8 years as a customer do not matter to Anthony, Jerrod, Nathan or probably, to the Wildes. I tried to get Nathan and Jerrod to correct the problem and restore my faith in their ability, but they were just interested in charging more money. I cannot afford to take the car and have it serviced properly. Please do not let them service your vehicle. Avoid the expense and disappoint I went through. I thought they were reputable and honest. Now I have to find a new mechanic. I took the repair money from savings, now I have to save up to find a better repair shop. The a/c still doesn't work properly and the car over heats. Because of Kwik Kar Custer Road 's poor customer service and poor mechanic service, I have to pray everyday driving to work in Plano that the a/c and the car overheating will be able to wait until I can save enough to have the car serviced by a reputable shop. Please don't make the mistake I did. Please don't trust them to service your car. I should have taken it back to Burdicks. They are expensive, but they do the service correctly the first time and they are reputable.

Kwik Kar overpriced and scam artists

I went to Kwik Kar on Eldridge and W Little York because it was conveniently located near my house. I should have never gone to these guys to begin with. Last summer they quoted almost 600 bucks to replace my brakes on both axles. When I went to another mechanic they quoted me 125 each axle. How's that for overpriced? Anyways I needed a state inspection, and I foolishly thought: How much could they mess that up? My check engine light had come on the day before, and I asked the asst manager there to check and that and give me a state inspection. After 15 minutes he tells me I need an oil change too, I agreed to those services. 30 minutes later he comes in and tells me that he has to do a engine flush due to burnt oil build up or else he can't pass my inspection. I really just wanted to get this over with so I said yes without knowing it was an extra 100 bucks. Then he tells me my car wont pass due to the check engine light being on. Which was the first thing I told him. If he knew I wasn't going to pass why did he do the inspection anyways and made me pay him for it? All I wanted was an inspection and that turns out to be the only thing I could not get. Are you kidding me? and I had to pay 160 bucks and still couldn't get my inspection. He proceeds to tell me I needed to go to the dealership to get my check engine light looked at because they don't know how to fix that. Then he pulled me aside and said he could do something to pass me for 60 more extra dollars. That sounded so sketchy and illegal I immediately refused. I called my brother about this problem and he told me that most likely the light is on because my gas cap is not screwed on tightly. I did that, and lo and behold the next morning the check engine light went off. He also told me that all Kwik Kar did was not flush my engine just ran a solvent through to dissolve the gunk oil which would have only cost 30 bucks. They're ridiculous! I'm thinking of reporting them to the authorities for the $60 bride they basically asked for in order to pass my inspection. That really can't be legal.

Told me they would get back to me after they talked with owner again. $400 of damage to my tire cover on Honda. Denied doing it.

I called Kwik Kar, and the mechanic said well we didn't charge you for the air we put in already. I asked him what does a Diagnostic Check provide. The mechanic admitted he didn't check for any leaks. (Remember, I got a Diagnostic check.) He said, "I will put the vehicle on the machine and the problem will be detected". I left with air. On 8-13-10, I was back with no air, the so called mechanic said, I am not sure what is wrong, but we will fix it. It was 100 degrees outside so I said, well I need an oil change too. After the oil change, the mechanic said, "well "you have two large leaks in the PS pump and the EV Evaporator", and gave me an estimate of $477.83.
The Oil change was $36.11, but the receipt says Washer fluid and brake fluid were added. I checked when I got home and they both were empty.

What kind of company is this!
