Kent RO - replaced Carbon filters less than a month back and UV light, 3 months back, constant beep though the water is coming. Please resolve the issue. Our building is not allowing technicians. Need online help.

At the time of purchase of kent grand ro filter, they said that the filters needs to be changed for 2 years. I bought kent grand one year ago. they said filters need to be changed. recently, on june 30 2020, they changed the sediment filter and the continuous beep sound comes.
Why are you cheating people for frequent change of filters?
Technicians have zero knowledge.. they are not even technicians. they are hired to tell us to change filters. that's what they do.
The other thing is that all the models from basic model to highest model are same. filters need to be changed for every 3 months. whats the purpose of paying more money for grand plus model?
Every product is same..

My Kent RO, advanced computer controlled system is making an intermittent teet -teet -teet sound, without functioning. Replaced UV bulb, valve and AC adapter etc but it just sends the same sound without functioning. Do not know what to do next.

My Kent has started giving a continuous single beep every second and uv light goes off.water stops after that. Don't think it's filter change alarm.technician has no idea on what to do and trying all things. Kent sucks . No information on what's the reason and how to resolve

My Kent Grand Plus was serviced 1 week before. All filters replaced. Now continued beep is coming. And water stopped. It was serviced 4 times in last one year since I bought for many problems keep coming. And now it's out of warranty. No support from Kent. Sometimes it's Saturday or Sunday or holiday or technician visits home but no parts available with him. Thank you Team Kent for giving clean water along with unnecessary tension.

I have been using Kent grand since last year, and almost every part of it got replaced, it has coated me more than my other filter... I am really not satisfied with this system... Why it has to stop working after every few days.. ?
This is for the 4th time the technician has shown up in 1 week.

I strongly recommend not to buy, because what is the use of buying such a product which needs repair after every month.
And it just not cost money but patience too.

Hi,

I am very inconvenienced by the frequent issues with my Kent GrandRO KR1511006483.
It was in warranty till 28th/01/16and give me trouble once during warrently.
But since9/8/16 i have called for help 4th time for different issues and today again my RO is giving issue. Last service was on 15/12/2016 where supposidly all filters were replaced due to high TDD levels in water and one filter had busted(Rs 3K)

This is unacceptable for the cost of the product is highest and the service charges have been very high.
I think i should be getting a refund on this or a product replacement. I am half tempted to log a case with consumer form for this is cheating my of money and time.

Beep Sound No Problem, fix it yourself ----

I was puzzled when my RO started giving filter change alarm even though I changed all filters recently. Kent fools us by timer based alarm which gets activated after certain time of operation and it has nothing to do with filter/water quality.

Here are steps to reset this alarm

1. Locate a very small hole below UV Choke, you will have to remove UV tube in Kent Pearl model. It is actually on the top on UV choke but since Kent fits Choke upside-down(I don't know why), you will have to locate it on the bottom side of choke.
2. Switch on RO(you will hear alarm).
3. take a matchstick and gently insert in hole and press for about 5-7 second(until you here a long beep).
4. You are done when long beep stops.

Hello Every one,

The Beep sound can be fixed our self and that too very easily.

DO NOT CALL Customer service for BEEP sound! They will just charge you for nothing and replace parts when they are not needed at all.

I just did if for my Kent pearl module based on this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvU1U_NWHfg

The beep sound is a trick by Kent, which is suppose to inform you that its the time to change all the filter but it not correct as most of you know if comes even when we have replaced all the filters of the Kent Purifier. I think its a time based thing which starts beeping irritate after some time and for that you just have to reset that time, that's all :)

The post sale service provided by Kent is pathetic..for them urgent/attending customer is within 48 hours. Till then one has to manage at his own.Also any tom dick and harry has been given the authorised AMC who even don't know that filters have to be installed in a certain direction and proper air purging should be done. New filter gets blocked due to air entrapment and customer is charged to replace it. On the name of AMC they just do the dusting and cleaning of machine.

I purchased Kent water filter 1 year ago for my parents. It got repaired after 6months because of broken candle. Now after completing 1year warranty (last month) we are getting continues alarm. My Kent Maxx is giving beep sound. Many times I have changed all the internal filter parts. But after 3- 4 month again I am face the problem. I don't know why it malfunctions so frequently and for every visit technician take Rs 300 + the Cost of replaced parts(Rs 1900). I am very dissatisfied with Kent product. What ever may be the reason they replace all parts and the technician have poor knowledge.

I have an year old Kent RO purifier. Exactly one day after the warranty period, the plastic cabin broke and I cannot wall mount it now. Kent technician visited my home and he said I need to pay Rs 2500/- to repair it. Three weeks back it stopped filtering and I called the technician. I have paid around Rs 2300/- and got the filters changed. The system started making alarm sound exactly one day after the filters are changed. From yesterday it started giving continuous alarm and stopped filtering. I am tired of calling customer care and paying money simply to the technicians.

I purchased Kent to, (touch) around 8 months ago. After 4 months of usage, it started making continuous beep sound whenever I took a glass of water. I have complained the same to the customer care recently n there s no immediate response from them..service is really slow.. I have made several calls to them, informing about the delay. I am also facing the same problem on getting service from local dealers for technical support. By the feedback from the customers some improvement can be done to solve the issue. But the dealers advice the customer to go for new model by Kent product. But they are ready to provide Exchange while the model they sold costlier & the service charge paid more than the sold price.
Neither warrenty nor the AMC helps on getting solution. But other brands providing full satisfaction. Untill unless do technocal improvement for Kent Grand Plus model consumer will suffer. Guru Nathan [protected]. sitharg@gmail.com

I'm also face same problem beep sound after servicing. 2 Months back all the filters were replaced as per the suggestion given by the service engineer. Everything went well almost for 2 months. Now the Filter started making beep sounds and some times it will stop the filtering on its own, after some time it will start again. Not sure what is happening. Tried to contact the customer support team but in vain. Very much unsatisfied with the product. Can some one help me to resolve the issue ?

I am using kent grand purchased on 14.11.13., after changing filters through technicians no water is coming, only single beep sound coming after two second interval. Manual speak nothing about single beep sound. After incurring Rs 2800 on service and change of filters, facing this issue. Buying canned water is economical than Kent

My kent grand is running under AMC. 5 days ago (17th march, 2016) Kent technical person came and did the regular service and went. Ever since then, there is a continuous beep sound coming and it does not seem to be turning ON. No light is glowing, no water is taken in.. nothing ia happening. power point is working fine, power cord also seems fine. I am sure technician did not close the thing properly or some loose connection somewhere.
I reported the complaint on 20th or 21st regarding the same. Nobody has come up, nor any confirmation related to the same. I called up again to the customer care and was informed to wait for 24 hours. This is so annoying !
When they had to get the AMC done, Kent team would give me 10 calls and the pickup or service would be arranged within same day itself but now it has been many days.

I am using Kent pearl purifier. It has one or the other problem always once completed the warranty. It costs more each time service man comes home. I don't understand this thing if any problem occurs why you replace with new filters or candles instead going for a thought of repair. It had cost more than 3k till we started using it.

I am also getting beep sounds after changing Ro Membrane filter. and also same issue came earlier. Technician changed the post carbon and UF filter later it worked for 1 month and stopped . when I called technician he has not given any information further.
and every time we call for service .they are saying one of the filter was failed and they themself changed and charging 500 to 3000 which is very high in india. I feel that KENT is worst product to be used.
and also the manual is not upto the mark.

Please arrange a service/call for KENT RO supreme

I have purchased Kent Grand Plus in AUGUST 2014 and last month was my last free PM, it feels like after this last PM, purposely the service maintenance person made some adjustments so that at a later on stage these beeps start coming. Yes I am also facing the beep problems. What the hell are these Kent people upto. They dont even give us a manual SOP that what to do when these types of errors come up. Hell with them - really upset to buy this "BRAND"

I purchased the KENT Grand only 3 months ago and it has been giving continuous beeps and the water has stopped coming from the R.O.
I try calling the customer care and they keep telling me that they are closed for the day although its only 2 PM now.

I think I made a big mistake to go with Kent.
