Fitness 19 / deceptive business practices
Well, I have been reading these complaints abouit Fitness 19 and can't say that I'm surprised. I too was a victim of their deceptive business practices. I can't tell you how many times we were told that we were "Owners" of the club. But mysteriously enough, the company balked at putting anything in writing. Everything was carefully stated verbally that you were indeed an owner. Also, I can recall putting in 85 to 90 hour workweeks, only to be called at home on a Sunday and told to get back to the club because we did not have enough enrollments for the month. Wasted promises and approx. 2 years wasted out of my life. I'm glad I'm out. I cringe at the thought of those 2 years. My wife and I gave that company everything they asked for and more. Only to be told that it wasn't good enough. All you are is a glorfied "Yes-Man" paying for their timeshares in places like Utah, Colorado, etc. Money is everything to them. The upper partners simply do not care about you!! Remember this, the next time you pay your monthly dues, know that the founders of the company and their "Puppets" appreciate it very much. They all drive things like Escalades, BMW's, and so forth. In conclusion, they care nothing about the membership base whatsoever except for your money. Very tacky and shady company to work for and/or belong to.
