My mother found this 'bank' on the internet here in Rhode Island. She went there and filled out a mortgage application (on april 3rd) and was eventually referred to a mortgage broker in the same city. We could have done that ourselves. We went back and met with the branch manager (william plant?) and i'm not sure they are even a bank. He was very evasive and could not show us a license.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Or the manager could have (not could of, could HAVE) just done his damn job the first time and given her the information she asked for instead of being a shady ###. You're an idiot and an ###.
People need to have common sense when dealing with financial transactions. Do your homework when it comes to the people you trust with your information. Oh and wowrly, I like my attitude pal. If you don't like it, you can pucker up buttercup and kiss it where the sun don't shine.
If they didn't trust the situation and felt it was shady, they could of just not filled out an application there. Not their fault that most people are dumb as dirt, yourself included. It's people like them and you that this country is in a world of hurt by putting big eared dummy in the Oval Office.

You're ignorant for not expecting people filling out MORTGAGE applications to just be super laid back and casual about it. Fix your attitude, it sucks.
The reason that he can't show you a license per say is that we are nationally licensed Loan Originators and we don't get a piece of paper saying that. He should of provided you with a license number that can be checked on NMLS.com. The other thing is that if there is a program that is offered by a bank other than the one you took the application with, most lenders can broker out the loan and still keep you as a customer. This cuts down on time consumption and unnecessary credit pulls which benefits you. You really should know the facts before complaining about someone and trying to put a black mark by their name when all they are doing is trying to help you out and earn a living at the same time. Just ignorant in my eyes.
