Carolina Carports review: poor installation & customer service 8

Had a garage built, had leaks the first week after the build, took months for them to fix it, and now leaking again, not small leaks, large puddles, customer service is terrible at the main office, you will play hell to get anything fixed, worst garage ever!

I will never recommend Carolina carports to any one wishing to purchase one
There warrant sucks and refuse to take care of a leaky roof where the roof is screwed to the supports...Dont buy here keep shopping folks

I just had 2 18x21 carports installed the guys that installed them laid the heave material on my electric gate causing it to bend now it wont close I called the company to complain only to be told they are sub contractors I could get estimate to fix and they would pass it along to sub contractor but theres no garentee they will pay for the cost of the repair buyers beware.

Carolina Carports advertises a 2 to 8 week delivery time on their website. Don't believe it. I ordered an 18 by 21 foot building from Carolina Carports on 14 September 2015. Today is 16 December 2015 over 12 weeks later, and the only thing I have received are 6 promised delivery dates that passed with no building delivery and a long list of excuses. The latest promised delivery date is now in early January which will be 15 weeks after the building was ordered. Customer No Service is still offering only excuses. Carolina Carports is not a reputable company by any form of measurement.

I ordered a carport in may of this year, sent them money, they came out and I don't speak Spanish, they had one side of the carport off the ground two foot on blocks half way saying it had to be like that, it was a parachute waiting to flip over. I told them you can't do it wrong and I wish you could take what you started on and I'll fix the problem, they said they would come back tomorrow. lie - it'll be two months if they get back out here, they tell me today it will be two more weeks. wow I think I'm starting to like Donald Trump VOTE TO PERTECT OUR BORDER.

I ordered an 18x31 from Carolina Carports. 5 weeks later they said they were coming out.
Then they rescheduled for 2 days later.
They showed up with two different base rails.
1 on 4 foot centers and one on 5' centers.
They had me call around to find a welding company to re-weld the posts in the proper location.
They didn't have the correct tolls to install the anchors, so I had to go out and find and impact wrench.

They finally decided they couldn't do the job and would have to come back the next week.
They wanted to leave all of the material in my yard.
When I said I would not be responsible for it, they packed it all up and left.
Five days later they called to reschedule. I canceled the order but the jobber kept $200 of my deposit.
Very unreliable and unprofessional.
Carports.com and TandT carports are just as bad and are probably the same company.
5 weeks waiting on them. Today they canceled due to possibility of rain. Not a drop has fallen all day.

Bottom line...do not waste your time with a carport from anyone, anywhere.
You may get lucky and have it delivered fast, but only because 3 other people where waiting on you to place an order so they could fill a load in your area.

I bought a car garage from CC and they sent me the wrong blue prints. Here I am almost 7 months later still waiting. Todays date is Jan.16, 2012. I can't finish the garage becuase the Inspector will not approve it without the correct prints. They are not dependable and you can't count on them. I do not recommend them. I will take some pictures of the welds they did on the trusses and they are not welded correctly. The guys told me they were welded with a MIG welder by a certified welder. I am a welder and they were not welded by a certified welder. It was welded by a stick welder by an amatuer welder.

i would not count on them showing up .its been 6 + weeks and they have not come back to fix my leak thats been there since day one.
