Well I'm sure they do have puppies from mills on there site. If you look close at some of the pictures under Chihuahuas you will see cages, kennels & the person dirty finger nails holding this cute little Chihuahua puppy. I myself am a breeder and had listed a few of my puppies here... they do get the traffic and do sell a lot of puppies her and get a high price... we { breeders} put our price and they {BPD} add $500-600 more to the puppy. they make more then the breeder and they do not like fo r you to talk to the buyer, they charge extra shipping and only give us a set fee, they charge for health certif, etc but we the breeders pay for all of this. I stop using them when I was thinking they where a bit fishy when I saw a "Yorkie" posted for almost 2 mths and then he was changed to a "Yorkie-Poo" for a whooping $1295.00... Hmm which is he? and that to me is a scam! Along with the added fees they charge the buyer and they keep the funds for that but we the breeders are paying for it!

This company sells sick dogs. They used to be premium breeders but got so many complaints they changed their name after so many complaints. You will buy a sick dog, pay thousands of dollars in vet bills, the dog will die, you will sue them...and you wont get your money back because they hide their assets in offshore accounts.

I got suspicious of these internet dog "breeders" when I saw the pictures they proudly display of the pups and parents. Champion? Are you kidding me? I never saw so many poor examples of dog breeds anywhere. These people aren't breeding anything but mutts. But the general public is too lazy to go to a dog show, or pick up a book on AKC breed standards, or for heavens sakes, when the time comes, get in the car and go see where this puppy is coming from. It's that "too much available credit - too little brains" syndrome that keeps this travesty going.

You can't buy a good puppy from your easy chair.

I am also a breeder that used them for a short time... They are all about the money... They sell a puppy for twice what the breeder is asking for it and give a lifetime guarantee, but the breeder is responsible for the first year and they do make the breeder pay for anything at all that first year... Even things that are general health care, but if the buyer complains they make the breeder pay for it. And of coures if you the buyer are paying thousands of dollars for a puppy you want reinversed for anything at all even things breeders generally do not guarantee against like baby teeth removal on an older puppy that still has a few baby teeth... THEY DO NOT CARE if the breeders are puppy mills and have 100 dogs. I only own a handfull of adults myself but they have told me to never say how many dogs I own or how I keep them... They only want you to say you own the parents and they are great healthy dogs and live in your home as does the puppies... They also do not want you to say how much you the breeder are getting for the puppy. I actually had a buyer tell me after getting their puppy that they lied and said the pup would absolutely not get the size of the mom because the mom is fat from having babies... That is such a lie... Anyone who knows anything about breeding knows the mom actually weighs less after feeding a litter for 8 weeks... Someone else said they lied and said the puppy was getting shipped with a special transport that hand carry the pup the whole way, when in truth all puppies are shipped the same way in the cargo hold of the plain. Take my advice and find a breeder to get your puppy. Don't support puppy mills or those who sell their puppies... I was a nieve hobby breeder and stopped using them when I relized their true intent is just to make the sale like a cheating car salesman.

"The second way is to work with a breeder who is an active member of a club like AKC. Someone who shows dogs - puts time into striving for the breed standard. These people work hard to produce healthy puppies, and not breed dogs who have genetic defects. And they require you to have your puppy neutered or spayed."

Breeders like this I absolutely support buying from, if you're bound and determined to have a show dog. But sadly, most breeders aren't like that. A really scary number of people who call themselves breeders have just thrown any random male and female dog of the same pure breed together in their back yard and let them go at it. It's not just people who advertise online and sell to pet stores...the local newspapers are full of them, and it just really upsets me that irresponsible people are bringing more dogs into a world that doesn't need them.

Sorry if I insulted anyone, it's just that when I hear someone say they breed dogs, I assume they're breeders of the "Backyard" variety, simply because there are so many more of them than truly responsible ones.

Please go to a few local shelters. Look into the eyes of the dogs who are condemned to die because there is no-one to love them. Notice how many are purebreds. Next go to petfinders.com and search for Chihuahua. There are a lot, huh? They're all in shelters or rescues. Please consider having your dogs spayed and neutered. Your keeping 7 new puppies a year from the population could mean 7 shelter dogs find homes. I know 7 a year doesn't seem like a lot, but it adds up. If 10 Backyard Breeders each have 7 pups a year, guess what? That's 70 dogs. Just something to think about.

I am a breeder and used the site briefly to sell pups...But I soon discovered they lied to customers. They would say anything to make the sell...
