Honesty & Integrity
I have been a BIZ Builder.Com customer for many years now. I've read all of the many complaints posted - and I'm surprised to even see this - because I've had such great luck with this company.
Would I recommend them? ABSOLUTELY YES!
Did they "cheat" me? ABSOLUTELY NO!
Is there any reason not to recommend them? ABSOLUTELY NO!
I think that most people complaining are mad at some issue that was not resolved to their satisfaction - most likely because they didn't keep their end of the bargain.
My recommendation is to buy with confidence!

Bad Business - Not Honest
I've been reading a few complaints directed against George Massalas - and BIZ Builder.Com. I'm actually one of their regular customers [they have thousands throughout the U.S.] - and I wanted to set the record straight:
1. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Absolutely outstanding. They have a team of people who are constantly helping me with any issues I run into. I can't speak more highly about them all!
2. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY: Also - top notch. I've read how some customers complain about this company, and I wonder if we're talking about the same company! I've used BIZ Builder.Com for many years now, and I've always received great service, and their staff is always very polite and straight-forward to deal with.
Would I use them again?! Well - I'm not on my 8th year of using their services, and I expect I'm going to continue using them for many more years to come!

Wonderful Service!
I've been a customer for years - and love the concept. I read all sorts of complaints on this website, and I wonder what these pathetic shoppers have been smoking!
I'll tell you honestly: IF YOU WANT "FACTORY DIRECT" PRICING - and you don't want to buy 10, 000 pieces of the same item, there's no other place on the planet I've found that can match BIZ Builder.Com's prices. Period, end of story.
Now - if you expect to pay NOTHING and get it YESTERDAY, this is not the place for you to shop! You simply can't have your cake and eat it too here!
I'm just amazed at how many people moan and grown - and never take responsibility for their actions. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW HOW TO READ?! If you do - simply READ their "terms of service" BEFORE YOU ORDER!
That's all for now! Happy New Year and all the best for 2009!
Sincerely Yours,
A VERY HAPPY BIZ BUILDER.COM CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!

Is BIZ Builder.com Legit?
BIZ Builder.com earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
We found clear and detailed contact information for BIZ Builder.com. The company provides a physical address, 2 phone numbers, and email, as well as 4 social media accounts. This demonstrates a commitment to customer service and transparency, which is a positive sign for building trust with customers.
Bizbuilder.com has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.
Bizbuilder.com has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.
Bizbuilder.com you are considering visiting, which is associated with BIZ Builder.com, is very old. Longevity often suggests that a website has consistently provided valuable content, products, or services over the years and has maintained a stable user base and a sustained online presence. This could be an indication of a very positive reputation.
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While BIZ Builder.com has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 16% of 18 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- Bizbuilder.com has relatively low traffic compared to other websites, it could be due to a niche focus, but could also indicate a potential lack of traffic and popularity. The bizbuilder.com may offer a niche product or service that is only of interest to a smaller audience.
- BIZ Builder.com protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
Company
Well - firstly, I didn't plan to write a complaint. I was just trying to find their website. But, truth be told - I am a customer, and I would like to state a few comments about this company:
1. PRICES: Outstanding [in fact, they're way below wholesale], and ... according to their website, most items are offered at "true factory cost". Based on my experience with other wholesale sites, I'd have to say I think they're being completely honest. The prices are just ridiculously cheap [way, way below normal "wholesale" cost].
2. DELIVERY SPEED: Just one mark away from horrible. I suppose, however, that if you understand their business model, it makes perfect sense that you can't have your order in a few weeks, when it must come direct from the factory [usually in China] along with thousands of other [similar] orders.
The problem is that [of course] - I don't want to wait! I want my order "yesterday", but ... the truth is, that's just not possible, given the way this website works. Basically, BIZ Builder.Com amalgamates their orders into one large shipment, which is "how" they're able to sell me a $25.00 wholesale pair of shoes for a little over $10.00. The "upside" is definitely getting the goods at "true factory cost", but the "downside" is that it can take 2-6 months to actually get the merchandise.
Beyond this - BIZ Builder.Com is really a great place [in fact, the only place I know of] to shop for really low prices. Of course, you can always order "factory direct" on your own - but, don't expect any factory to ship you a carton of shoes [only]! You'll need to place an order for a full container - which is "why" I love this website! I don't need to order more than I need - and I still get the "factory cost" price as if I ordered an entire container!
Best regards to all of you shoppers at BIZ! I'm sure their shipping delays can be annoying - but, that's just the "nature of the beast"!
Stellar Service!
Well - I just couldn't help myself and take a moment to write about this wonderful company: BIZ Builder.Com! I've read a few of the complaints listed here - and, to be frank, I think it's all a bunch of crap.
I've been a customer for over 6 years, and it's been a great pleasure to use their service. I run a hardware store in the Midwest, and - without BIZ Builder, I'd be screwed [to be blunt]. Their product sourcing is outstanding - and I'm able to purchase everything I require at "factory cost" - with complete peace of mind.
I completely disagree with all of the moaners and groaners online. BIZ IS A GREAT COMPANY!
Customer Service, Etc.
I love this company! But, I see so many people complaining about them. I can only conclude that whatever the issues - they simply don't understand "how" BIZ Builder.Com operates.
Their prices are unbelievable - and their Customer Service is outstanding!
I'm just sorry to see all of the "unhappy campers"!
Its very simple, its called ethics, its also called integrity
Ordering & Receipt of Goods
I'm another "satisfied customer" - having used BIZ Builder.Com's website services for more years than I can recall. I was shocked to read all of these complaints - especially since I've had the exact opposite experience.
My goodness - so many people seem to feel they've been "scammed" - when, in fact, this company goes out of its way to deliver quality products at true factory-cost pricing! Of course, if you don't understand their unique marketplace, you're going to be very disappointed - no doubt about it.
This is not a place to order goods, and expect them to arrive at your doorstep in 1 week - especially with their "free shipping" offer [products ship usually from China], as well as their "factory-cost" prices! This site is "Heaven Sent" for anyone who's tired of paying inflated prices for goods through more traditional wholesale or "drop shipper" websites. They are also not for the casual, 1-item shopper.
But, if you're ordering to resell, this id definitely the place to shop. You just can't find a cheaper place anywhere on the net. Granted - you won't get the goods for several months, but, when you do - you'll be happy you waited! The key to this site is PLANNING. Buy your Christmas goods 3-6 months in advance, and you'll save a fortune.
All I can say to the rest of you out there is this: If you expect something for nothing in less than a week, you are really stupid and very naive. Get a life and shop elsewhere!
Terrible company!
Ordered a juicer in October. Billed immediately. Haven't received it yet. Customer service says that I should have read the fine print, and I'm a dummy for giving them money. They ignore the BBB (the BBB is trying to get them to pay $1200 to join, and because they won't, they've been given an "F" rating-no kidding that's what the customer service Nazi wrote.). I think we should all keep hitting this complaints board site, so that it moves up the list-right under the Bizbuilder listing. And while we're at it, hit Bizbuilder's site. Doesn't Google bill according to the number of hits...
Thanks for your recent comments. I'll be sure to give them all the attention they deserve. You know we had an informal poll here recently (the whiners and slackers on this complaints board I mean) asking who is more sensless-the dim bulbs at Bizbuilder Customer Service (we use that term loosely)? or the Bizbuilder shills on the Complaint Boards site. It came out a tie. (We did have to throw out one answer-one wag said that you ARE one of the dim bulbs from Bizbuilder Customer Service).
Finally, I'm an adulterated jerk, and I would appreciate it if you would refer to me that way in the future if you wish to continue our scintillating conversation any further. I'm sorry, but I'm a stickler for detail.
I think SHANDRA HILFRITEN is probably pretending to be a customer but in fact, she's an employee of Bizbuilder.com or maybe the girlfriend or wife of the owner. C'mon... Who in their logical mind would want to buy something in advance that you would only get after 4 months. If I were the customer and read the terms, I would definitely not buy from them. Unless of course, the terms was purposely hidden and hard to find. C'mon don't be STUPID coz I think you are.
WOW! Where do I start! Let's see:
1. I've been a customer of BIZ Builder.Com for over 3 years now. I have never had a bad experience with them. Certainly, if you don't read the terms surounding "how" this company operates [most product orders ship directly from China] - you're going to be disappointed.
2. Their business model is simple: factory-direct prices! That's why people order from them - THEIR PRICES ARE THE CHEAPEST ANYWHERE ONLINE!
3. If you don't actually "read" what's presented to you before you order, you're definately going to be disappointed. Your expectations will expect delivery in a week - and you'll be very disappointed to see that the order might take 3-4 months!
4. To blame BIZ Builder.Com because YOU FAILED TO READ their terms, is nothing less than playing the "blame game".
Personally, I think you [John Horoszko] are a complete, unadulterated jerk - to even use the word "Nazi" and claim to be a victim! Given the nature of your choice of words, you seem to be nothing more than another stupid jerk trying to blame the world for your short-sighted behavior.
GROW UP AND START TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS, AND QUIT BLAMING EVERYONE UNDER THE SUN!
Unauthorized charges!
I ordered a Jack Lalange Juicer in October 2007. I realized very quickly that I had made an error in judgment and tried unsuccessfully to get my money back. I was told the product wasn't in stock and would be shipped direct from China. No one in their right mind would agree to the terms & conditions they said I agreed to. I was told it could take up to 3 mos. before I might receive the juicer and I'm fairly certain I won't be receiving anything as the "slow boat from China" must have sunk by now. This company is as crooked as they come...
OH my! Sounds like there are quite a few people who don't like either of these two guys! Well - here's my "2 cents" ...
First, I know George Massalas very, very well. In fact, almost too well :-). He's a very kind and generous person - who's known to go out of his way to help those in need. He's also a very smart and talented businessman.
Tom, on the other hand - has a history of using people, including his own family members. I've known Tom for many years, and I can tell you from experience that he's a great one to BS, but - he's lazy as all hell. In fact, I use to always fight with him about "why" he use to use his former girlfriend's kindness. She was the "bread winner" and tome was the "bread eater"!
That's all I have to say. God bless and best wishes!
How Funny - I met Tom Zabriskie several years ago in Valencia, CA. He put on quite a show of being a pathetic, lost soul. I found out later that he was the biggest user and abuser of friendships I've ever known.
I can tell you truthfully - he's hurt many women ... and I'm one of them. This guy's so full of BS, it exits from every part of his body!
I don't know anything about his employment except that he was always complaining that he wasn't being paid enough [who doesn't feel that way!].
I'd love to see him again to let him know how much he ruined my life.
Hello,
I have known George L. Massalas Jr for over 3 years and i find him a nce, honest and generous person..
He is one of the best person sent from above..He is the best person
I am from Philiipines and hes always with me all the time and guide me...He is no other one compare to this person..he s here to help those who are unfortunate ones..
You are the best "MY GEO"
I've also known Tom Zabriskie - as well as Todd [his former roommate]. They both attended my church, and they're both two very pathetic individuals.
Does the concept of failing to be a good Father ring a bell? How about ... abandoning your family [wife, children, etc.] all for the sake of engaging in inappropriate extra-marital activities!?
Both Tom and Todd are two LOSERS to the Nth Degree! And, if you'd like to speak to me directly - simply SEE ME AT THE CHURCH YOU BOTH LEFT AFTER RECEIVING SO MANY "HAND-OUTS" OF SYMPATHY!
Both of these two individuals are complete, unadulterated JERKS!
What I find amazing is the ability of people who post without facts.
I've known Tom Z for over 5 years and the msg that was written here is out of character for the person I know.
And to post allegations of sexual harassment? Anyone with a basic understanding of law should know that you don't need a way to get hold of the individual to "turn him over to the local authorities". If you believe that a law has been broken then I would think you would have a civic duty to do just that.
George, I've heard many things about you as an individual some good and some bad. Whoever posted this...I would be concerned about libel. You just can't write something that causes injury (tort) to another individual without substantive facts.
Shame on you.
I couldn't disagree more. I've known George personally for over 8 years, and he's one of the kindest people I know.
I'm assuming this person "Tom" is none other than "Tom Zabriskie" - who has been doing his best to destroy BIZ Builder.Com ever since he first went to work for them. In fact, I read "Tom’s" message to George Massalas - who immediately said, "This must be from Tom Zabriskie", the biggest looser we ever employed!" According to George Massalas, Tom Zabriskie has a history of "jumping ship", and doing everything in his power to destroy BIZ Builder's business ever since he first went to work for them.
The bottom line is this: If you want to know what BIZ Builder.Com is REALLY all about - do yourself a favor and speak with employees that actually work there! Beware of messages from disgruntled employees who have abandoned their responsibilities and constantly walked off the job, time and time again!
Oh ... one more message George asked me to relay to Tom: "PLEASE STOP HARASSING OUR FEMALE CUSTOMERS. We continue to receive complaints from them about "Tom Zabriskie" calling to flirt, etc. - and if we had a way to get a hold of this looser, we'd turn his name over to the local authorities for sexual harassment, etc."
For those of you who are actually seriously interested in learning more about BIZ Builder.Com, or George Massalas, personally - I would suggest you simply call or write them directly! They can be reached at: PHONE: [protected] EMAIL: onlinesales@bizbuilder.com
This company, since its inception, had been employing fraudulent and misleading business practices. It's a wonder they are still in business.
George Massalas, the company president, is one of the most unethical dishonest businessmen around. Don't trust him with your money.
Rip off website!
Do NOT buy anything from this website! I purchased a juicer over 4 months ago, and it was never shipped. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge. Luckily I called a couple days before it had been 3 months. Amex said after 90 days, they can't go in and dispute a charge. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they were able to override it.
THIS IS A RIP OFF WEBSITE THAT IS BOGUS. ANYONE KNOW A LAWYER? I HAVE HALF A MIND TO SLAP A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM!
My gosh! So many complaints - and I've had GREAT SERVICE from this company!
Then only thing I can figure is that every one of these moaners and groaners failed to read BIZ Builder's terms and conditions regarding "how" they do business!
Simply stated - if you're expecting your package to arrive from China in 2 weeks [with "free shipping"] - you're living in la-la land!
READ THEIR TERMS, PEOPLE. They couldn't be more up-front about how their program works!
I love their prices - and I am completely satisfied with their service!
Takes money and does not ship!
Want entertainment, read Kim Samson's complaint. It had to have been written by bizbuilders damage control department. I mean what "normal" consumer would hammer away at some hidden terms like quote "If a customer doesn't take the time to read what's presented - they will certainly be expecting something that's not going to happen." NICE TRY!
LIES, LIES, LIES and they never have the guts to answer the phone! This is an off-shore junk dealer living on the edge. For example, you'll get a ship notice from UPS. Read carefully. The notice is that they submitted billing information to UPS - BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN SHIPPED. Well Kim Samson... or is it Kim Lee or Kim Wang... NICE TRY! What ever you do DO NOT USE PAYPAL - you won't get your monay back. Want more proof? Fed's should go check for green cards.
250 days ago, August 2, 2007 I ordered a Jack LaLanne juicer. Biz Builder said it was ordered from China and would be 90 days in arriving in the States. On November 29, 2007 they sent me an E-mail that it had arrived in Santa Clarita, CA and was being delivered to UPS for delivery to me. I contacted UPS and found out it was never delivered into their possession, and notified Biz Builder of same. They notified me that I would receive a refund in 6 to 8 weeks, and that time has been multiplied by 3 with no results. The only answer I get from Jessica Stanbury in the Customer Service Online Dept. is " We are a very reputable company and you must be mistaken."
I've been a "happy customer" of BIZ Builder.Com now for a little over 7 years. When I read all of the complaints recently written - I had to take a step backwards to make sure they are all talking about the same company I am familiar with. BIZ Builder is a really great company. GREAT Customer Service, GREAT deals, and REALLY GREAT CONVENIENCE.
I can't disagree more with all of the terrible comments I've read here. My advice to these people is to just shop elsewhere. BIZ Builder.Com doesn't need their business, I'm sure. They are the only game in town that does what they do - and if customers' just don't understand the game - they should just shop somewhere else.
My take is this: IF YOU DON'T LOVE THEM, LEAVE THEM!
Having read a few of the posted complaints about this company, I can only say:
1. I've been a customer for over 3 years!
2. I have received outstanding service!
3. I am so grateful that they are in business to help "build" my business!
4. I think that those who are complaining obviously have issues that they are trying to place blame for and are completely unwilling to accept any real responsibility. To these people I say: HOPEFULLY, YOU DON'T TEACH YOUR CHILDREN THE SAME TYPE OF "LOOSER" BEHAVIOR!
Feel free to contact me anytime if you'd like any more information on this outstanding company.
I'm a long-standing customer of this wonderful company. I took a moment to read all of these horrible complaints - and I can't help myself from writing my own review:
1. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. Absolutely wonderful. They are always more than willing to correct any problem I've had - and truly do value my business.
2. OUT OF STOCK MATTERS: Sometimes, due to their fluxuating inventory - they have been out of stock of items I've purchased. In every case, they've been happy to issue an immediate refund, or - in some cases [when I'm lucky], they not only issue a refund, but also offer an additional "Goodwill Credit" for any inconvenience.
3. MANAGEMENT: This company's doing something very unusual: Their principal managers actually will call you directly. Try getting someone from eBay or Amazon [in upper management] to return a phone call!
Beyond all of this - the main point is that BIZ Builder's products and services are offered at "true factory cost" pricing, when you become a BIZ Member. If you want to save money - you owe it to yourself to check them out!
SUMMARY: Great company, great customer service, and GREAT VALUE.
I have a few comments that need to be said to everyone complaining about this fine company and the products and services they offer online:
1. I love the fact that this company actually allows you to purchase merchandise at "factory cost". The only other way I'm aware of ordering merchandise at true factory cost [without paying a mark-up] is to go directly to the factory.
2. Like many posting comments, I've had my share of trouble with BIZ. I have to say, quite honestly - that once I understood how they operate [they are not really a "retail, consumer site], my dealings were much more pleasant. For instance, don't expect "retail customer service"! BIZ Builder.Com is basically catering to large, wholesale customers - and for those just ordering one or two small items on a single order, you might not realize that it will take a while to get your order delivered. BE SURE AND READ THEIR TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY!
3. Lastly, having ordered several items recently that they were unable to deliver, I was happy to see that they actually advertised on the home page of their site that refunds were available. Most companies won't even do this for their customers, by hiding refund information obscurely in some hidden portion of their website.
For those of you who are complaining about BIZ Builder's level of customer service, I simply cannot agree with your comments. It's quite obvious that some of you are very unhappy - but, in all fairness - don't you think your lack of careful review is partially to blame?
I, for one - find the site offering great value, honest customer service, and all-in-all, a great concept for any business seeking "factory direct" pricing.
You know - I stumbled onto this site when I was trying to find BIZ Builder's actual website address. I wasn't sure it was www.bizbuilder.com - or www.bizbuilder.net.
My friend has been a customer of this company for 8 years, and told me about them, so I checked them out. I later became a regular customer - and now rely on their services for most of my business needs.
What strikes me as "interesting" is all of the negative comments I see. I've never experienced any of these problems with BIZ Builder - and, in fact, I've had just the opposite experience! In fact, I just placed an order with them 2 weeks ago - and the merchandise is on the way from China, exactly as it was advertised to me.
I can understand why so many people would be angry - expecting to receive an order in 1 week, if they've never actually read BIZ Builder's terms of sale. Certainly, if you don't read what you're actually getting into - your expectations will be very different than the reality. But, I think that this is simply an issue of carefully reading the terms - so that you know what you're options are!
In every case - it seems that most of the complaints have to do with shipping issues - which are clearly explained on BIZ Builder's order page. If a customer doesn't take the time to read what's presented - they will certainly be expecting something that's not going to happen.
My advice to anyone who's disappointed is to go back and read what you "indicate" that you were in agreement with! YOU HAD TO AGREE TO THEIR TERMS TO PLACE YOUR ORDER! If, after doing this - you are now trying to blame BIZ Builder for your failure to actually "read" what you said you had read - I think you're simply trying to blame others for your failures.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BIZ BUILDER.COM - AND I ESPECIALLY LOVE THEIR GREAT PRICES!
Well Kim Samson... or is it Kim Lee or Kim Wang ... NICE TRY!

Fed's should go check for green cards.
I am a long-standing customer of this company, having placed well over 500 orders with them during the past 7 years. Recently, I stumbled across this website and was shocked to see so many complaints registered against BIZ Builder.Com. After reading each and every complaint, I couldn't resist posting this "complaint" on my own!
FIRST COMPLAINT: Each and every BIZ Builder.Com customer is required to be in agreement with the company's standard "terms of service" agreement. Why, then - do so many people complain that the company is misleading them? The answer is simply this: THE CUSTOMERS NEVER READ WHAT THEY ARE AGREEING TO PRIOR TO PLACING THEIR ORDER!
I believe this concept is often referred to as "Blame Game" behavior! Each and every complaint I've read seems to point the finger at BIZ Builder.Com, without even taking the slightest degree of responsibility for their [the customer's] failure to READ what they are agreeing to! In fact, after reading all of these complaints, I can't help wondering how many of these people actually have children! Is this what they teach their children to do? Always blame others for their [obvious] mistakes in life?!
SECOND COMPLAINT: Nothing but "wining"! If you people feel so strongly about being cheated - why is it that you won't accept any responsibility for your original actions? It seems to me that when you agree to something, you should abide by your agreement! I know in my personal case, in all the orders I've placed with this company - I've only experiences a few "hiccups" - which were really no one's fault. But, in each case, BIZ Builder took care of the problem, which is "why" I'm happy to remain a loyal customer!
The bottom line [for me] is that I just couldn't resist commenting on what I see written - because it's obvious that BIZ Builder.Com is being unfairly attacked for what are really failures on the part of so many customers that clearly NEVER READ WHAT THEY ORIGINALLY AGREED TO - and instead, come to a site like this to ### and moan to the World!
I have never seen such a miserable example of dodging responsibility in my entire adult life - until I read what's written about this very fine and reputable company.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, BIZ BUILDER.COM!
I bought some online biz that never worked from www.cash1234dotcom.com.I need a refund cause I never made money as they claimed It does not give what it explains on there web page its fake
This dude - "Richard Bray" is a bigot and a complete ###. He's obviously also quite ignorant.
I have been a customer of BIZ for many years, and have always had "stellar" service, etc.
They are a wonderful group of well-trained entrepreneurs who truly care about their customers and ... more importantly, delivering quality merchandise at true "factory direct" cost.
My advice to "Richard Bray" is to pack sand!
Deceptive advertising!
If anyone were to actually read the 5 pages of "terms and conditions" they would surely not purchase anything from this company. If anyone would go to the Better Business Bureau to check out their rating they would know better than to order anything from this company. I placed an order on 12/9, when I checked the status of the order on 12/17 it was last updated on 12/10 "processing", I have e-mailed them and only received a form notice of receipt. Forget trying to call them. They charge your credit card immediately, most reputable firms will not charge your credit card until the goods ordered are shipped. They advertise "free ups shipping" which lends the appearance that they have the goods to ship, so far I have found no one that has received their order, even after 4 months. This company is making millions and shipping nothing as far as I can tell. "if it's too good to be true" I have now learned that lesson the hard way.
I just want to share with you this story I found online regarding Bizbuilder.com. After reading this, you'll have an idea of what type of person runs this company. A cheapskate that takes advantage of people.
Juicer order!
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM BIZBUILDER.COM; their customer service could certainly be classed as the worst on the web. My order for a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer was placed on 8-24-07 and the status of the order has not changed since 8-27-07. "8.27.07 - Thank you for your order. At this time, your order is in the early stages of fulfillment and is due to ship from either our factory in Mainland China or our warehouse in California within the next several days. Depending on the product ordered, we estimate that you will be receiving your package within the next 15 days [if shipping from our warehouse in California] or up to 90 days [if shipping directly from our factory in China]. In the meantime, if you have further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call our Customer Service Department at: [protected], Ext. 203. Thank you!" After several contacts with customer service they still can't tell me when I will get the juicer I ordered. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM BIZBUILDER.COM; the slightly lower price is definitely not worth the poor customer service. They do post terms and conditions on the site, and these do state that delivery could take up to SIX MONTHS, but they do not in any way indicate delivery time for specific items on the order page, nor do they identify which items, if any, are at their California Warehouse for 15 day delivery. I suspect that they don't actually warehouse any products, and place orders after collecting the payments for products "in the early stages of fulfillment". "NOTE: This order has already shipped or has reached the final stages of processing. Therefore this order is no longer editable." apparently means that within 72 hours of order placement you are stuck and BIZBUILDER has no comprehension of the meaning of customer service. I wish I had done a search on BIZBUILDER before placing my order. I could have avoided some headaches. Don't make the same mistake.
Same as many. Ordered a juicer in October, 07. Billed immediately. Still haven't seen it. Customer service says I should have read the fine print, and I'm the dummy for giving them money. Wrote the Cal Dept of Consumer Affairs (not their jurisdiction). Wrote the BBB (Bizbuilder ignores them-says all they do is charge $1200, and if it isn't paid, they give the company an "F" rating). Wrote the FTC (they don't act on individual complaints, but if they see a pattern of deception or fraud, they can act). Doesn't Google list based on the number of hits? Maybe if everyone of us hits the complaint board often enough, it'll move up the list (wouldn't it be nice if it was just under Bizbuilder itself?), and doesn't Google bill companies based on the number of hits? Hmmm!
To make a long story short, I ordered a juicer on Aug. 23 or 07 and have yet to receive it. They said "it's not arriving" (duh) and that they are in the process of filing a claim which can take 2-4 weeks to get my $ back. I paid nearly 100 bucks for it too. Did anyone get their $ back and if not, what did they tell you was the reason? I used to work for UPS so when they brought that tracking number crap up to me, I knew there was something up. I would love to take further action on this company b/c they need to prosecuted. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I need to do research next time before I buy from an unknown company like this.
I just got another email from them this time stating that my blender is 207 days overdue. They stated a week ago that it would take 2-4 weeks to get my money back but I just got an email which said: We appreciate your patience during this period and expect to have a full refund issued to your original payment method within the next 6-8 weeks.
WTH?! I am so livid! Does anyone know if the class action lawsuit is for real? We need to do something asap!
I just wanted to say that I got my money refunded to me. It took 2 days for the money to hit, however, I didn't feel comfortable giving them my bank card's # and CVV2 number, so canceled my debit card after requesting the refund. Thankfully, it went through.
Bizbuilder IS flaky. Unfortunately no one reads these posts until after they've paid, and begun to get the "BIZ". Contact your credit card company as soon as possible, and any consumer agencies you can find.
Buy from this place at your own risk! In my opinion, all the "disagree" responses above sound very suspicious and looking back at the emails sent to my replies to Bizbuilder's customer service department from looks EXACTLY like those comments above - including how they say how a person didn't read the terms of sale and then itemize their comment points by using number bullets.
Here is a sample of the first email I received from Bizbuilder (after waiting 86 days from ordering - hoping that it would arrive by Christmas):
===================================================================
Thank you for contacting us regarding your recent order. We appreciate your business, and would like to take this opportunity to explain the actual details pertaining to your order:
1. Your order was placed on 11.20.07.
2. Your order subsequently "shipped" [from China] on 11.23.07 - and is headed directly to your doorstep.
3. It has been exactly 86 days since you first placed your order.
4. According to our "terms of service" - orders shipping direct from our factory in China require a MINIMUM of 90-120 days for final delivery. Orders are not considered "unable to deliver" until 180 days has lapsed since the original order date. For these orders - a full refund will be issued to your credit card [after the 180 period has lapsed] directly from the shipping factory.
5. This being the case - we would expect your package to arrive at your doorstep within the next 30-60 days. If your package is not been received by the 180 day deadline, we will immediately begin the process of requesting a full refund on your behalf from the shipping factory.
6. To check the status of your order online, simply visit: www.bizbuilder.com, and login to "my account". From this section, you can check a variety of details pertaining to your order, as well as review the current order notes, etc.
Please Note: When you placed your order, you may recall that you were required to be in agreement with the following standard "Terms and Conditions of Sale": http://www.bizbuilder.com/Articles.asp?ID=130. This email response reflects our standard policies as outlined within this document.

As you can see above, it looks pretty much like the first "disagree" comment above, right? Wow, what a coincidence! NOT. The only people that are saying that Bizbuilder is a reputable company and whatnot are probably employees of bizbuilder trying to do damage control.
Quite honestly, no I didn't read that disclaimer. I've ordered from dozens of internet sites over the last 10 years and this is the only site I know of that has such an extensive TOS page before ordering. I don't remember reading that thing, but possibly checked an "agree" box prior to ordering. Believe me when I say, had I known it was going to be this much of a hassle, NO, I wouldn't have agreed with their TOS. Who in their right mind would agree to such a thing? 120 shipping from China? NO WAY! I've ordered items from China through Ebay and it took 1 week, why should it be any different with BizBuilder? When ordering the product, do they have to have them custom made in China? I doubt it!
Needless to say, I never received the item I ordered back in November 2007. I hoped to have it by Christmas 2007, but that never happened.
They finally placed an announcement on the web page for this item back in April stating that it has been discountinued. I never received an email saying that the item was discontinued, so how was I supposed to know? Here it is in June, 7 months later... Anyhow, I requested a cash refund. I'm refraining by saying anything "bad" about this company until I get my money back.
================================================================
Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the status of your outstanding order. Details regarding the product you ordered have been posted for several months on our website. In addition, our records indicate that several notices have previously been sent to the email address we have on file for your account, but unfortunately, we did not receive any reply.
=================================================================
That is incorrect. The last email I got from them, dated back in February 2008, stated:
=================================================================
Responding to your comments:
1. Our system will not accept your payment without your confirmation that you've read the shipping terms. It's likely that you just said you agreed, when, in fact, you never actually read the page.
2. There is no "fine print". In fact, there are several pages of copy that must be reviewed.
3. The remainder of your comments clearly indicates your confusion with "how" orders are processed on our site. We invite you to call our order desk anytime for further explanation: [protected] x 202.

I agree, this firm is a scam and hopefully will get what they deserve "PUT OUT OF BUSINESS" ... they have false adverstisement and do not honor their terms and conditons. I also bought a juicer that was advertised "IN STOCK" READY FOR SHIPMENT" AND THEIR TERMS STATED LIFE TIME WARRANTEE...NEITHER WERE TRUE... THE MERCHANDISE WAS SHIPPED SEVERAL MONTHS LATER AND DID NOT WORK... THEY CLAIM IT DID WORK AND WANTED RE-STOCKING CHARGES... THANK GOODNESS MY CHARGE CARD SERVICE DENIED THEIR CHARGES... AND I HAVE TO LAUGH AT THE PERSON WHO STATED THEY HAVE BEEN ORDERING FROM BIZ BUILDER FOR OVER SEVEN YEARS...THEY HAVE NOT BEEN IN BUSY THAT LONG... IT APPEARS THEY KEEP TRYING TO SELL THE SAME ITEMS THAT DON'T WORK...
I'm with the majority of you defending BIZ. They're a great company with unheard of pricing. You can't expect to receive “RETAIL” CUSTOMER SERVICE from a company offering FACTORY COST PRICING!
Get real, you bunch of cry babies!
I AGREE, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BIZ BUILDER! I ordered JACKJack LaLanne Power Juicer too... it was placed in August/07 & it is now March 2008...to this date have not recieved anything. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Its next to impossible to get someone on the phone. I actually called right after I ordered it to cancel my order (I had found a better product), but the rep on the phone assured me it will take 15 days to ship out. When I called a month later, they told be it will probably take about 180 days! before they realize they dont have this product. The service is terrible, when I called to file a complaint, they just blame you for doing business w/them in the first place & offer no solution. DO NOT DO BUSINESS W/BIZ BUILDER, unless you want to donate money & have 6 months to spare. Now they said they are in the process of giving me a refund, but It will take an additional 6-8 weeks, I told them it didnt take 6-8 weeks for them to take my money! Honestly people, this is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with.
There's another gentleman on this site that has started a class action suit. If you want, I'll tell you how to get in contact with him. I'm encouraging everybody I can to contact the Federal Trade Commission (they have an online complaint form you can fill out-they don't act on individual cases, but if they see a pattern of abuse, they can investigate), and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Consumer Protection Division (they have a form that you can download and mail in-feel free to use my name as someone who has also been victimized). We need to pressure these guys on multiple fronts. With government agencies, I'm sure it just a matter of the number of complaints reaching a certain level , and they'll act.
Bad business!
Yep, just like another dis-satisfied customer who sent money to bizbuilder.com... They tell you in fine print, away from the order page, about products being shipped from China to arrive in 120 days The order page gives you the impression that orders are processed in a few business days and shipped by standard UPS ground. After 15 days without the ordered being fulfilled, I inquired and got the same line: didn't you read our policy you agreed to? (No, because you bury the details in a book called a shipping policy.) My fault I guess. I missed the fine print. But I urge anyone who sees this to AVOID bizbuilder.com! I'm out $62.00 on a product I won't need in 4 months. Do yourself a favor, drive to the store.
Purchased a Jack Lalange Juicer in October 2007 from BIZBUILDER.COM web-site and immediately realized that I made an error in judgment. Phoned the company and tried to get my money back to no avail. My fault for not reading the fine print! I gave it the 3 mos. (shipping factory direct from China) and still no product and I'm pretty sure I won't see it either. I've contacted my credit card company to tell them of this out and out fraud (nothing they can do)? This type of blatant stealing hurts all legitimate web-based businesses.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a juicer in August 2007. I have contacted the company on several occasions and have been given the run-around. Lots of legal jargon and reminders of terms that I agreed to. My credit card was charged immediately after my first email of complaint to the company. They have repeatedly given a lame explanation of problems in China and their ridiculous 'policy' of no refund until after 180 days. I was then told that even if the 180 days pass, it would take 4 weeks to get a refund ticket from UPS (and I have to have the product to return it) and/or even receive a call back from their Customer Service department because of their heavy call load. All code for 'sorry lady, you're out of luck'. I am a careful consumer and take precautions to avoid situations like this. Now I feel as if my hands are tied. I am reporting them to the BBB, especially after reading all of the complaints that echo mine EXACTLY. So frustrating!
On sept 21,2007 i ordered a jack lalanne juicer for 99.95 from the bizrate web site. The store was bizbuilder.com. Today is december 29,2007 still no juicer. From what i see, i guess i got ripped off. Also, they claim ships in 2-3 days, but later i learned yeah, from china. And that it could take up to 4 months. Well the way i count it, it's been 4 months. I am going to contact my credit card company and file a complaint. Also, bizrate web site tells me there is nothing they can do. Well, they should check out the people on their website.
Like so many others on this site - I stumbled onto this page searching for www.bizbuider.com. I was shocked to read so many complaints about this company - because I've been a "happy customer" now for over a year! Here are my comments:
SERVICE AND SUPPORT: Absolutely superior! As a BIZ Co-Op Member, I have direct access to the Senior Buyers at BIZ Builder.Com, and they are always very, very helpful! I especially love dealing with Frank and Jerry, who have offered me invaluable advice when it comes to "building" my business!
PRICES: Absolutely impossible to beat! That's because, through BIZ Builder's unique "BIZ Co-Op", I'm able to purchase goods at true factory-direct pricing, and completely eliminate the "middle man". In today's dog-eat-dog World, the best way to stay in business, is to make absolutely certain you're getting the "lion's share" of the profits, and BIZ Builder.Com certainly helps me achieve this goal!
A WORD ABOUT SMALL ORDERS: After reading the complaints, it's clear to me that most of these people are first-time, small consumer orders. Certainly, if you don't understand the "process" at BIZ Builder.Com, and you're just ordering a widget because they have the best price - you're going to be disappointed when you discover that it will take 3-5 months just to get one! But, in all fairness - this isn't the fault of BIZ Builder.Com! This is the fault of the consumer who failed to read their terms and conditions PRIOR TO placing their order!
I think to cry "foul play" on a site like this - is just a classic example of people refusing to take responsibility for their own actions.
SUMMARY: I love this company, and I'll continue to order from them in the months and years ahead. Without their "BIZ Co-Op", I would have been out of business a long time ago! Keep up the great work, everyone!
Just another customer that order an expensive juicer and then there is no delivery. My card was charged the day I made the online purchase. After too much time went by waiting for delivery, I called but I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, they return the call after said I wan to put another order. I went to the tracking page and found that it says ''we ship from China so delivery will be at least 4 months. This is completely hidden; moreover on the order page it says 'this item is available for immediate delivery. We ship within 1-2 business days."
Their justify saying" you probably never actually READ what you were agreeing to - and now want to blame us for your failure..."
I want to prevent the people to give the money to this despicable company .
It's not been 208 days and no juicer. I just called paypal and they said that i can't get my $100 back through them b/c it's past their 45 day dispute period. What they did say is that anyone else who paid through Paypal for their bizbuilder item MUST contact paypal asap! They need to have more than 1 person (me) to file a dispute b/c if I just file one, it will be closed right away. However, if they get many disputes, they will start an investigation. I think it's ridiculous that they only give you 45 days to dispute an item. What if you have no issues until after that period? Bizbuilder knew this and that is why they state that you can't do anything until after 180 days of not getting your product. Please email me if you also used paypal. Maybe we can get our $ back if enough of us file a dispute.
Ordered a juicer 7/07. Was told in very small print that it "could" take 2-3 months to arrive "if" it has to ship from their factory in China. Six months later, they finally tell me they are going to refund my money. It "may" take 2-4 weeks to "process" it. Like that is really hard to do or something. Two months later (total of 8 months from original order). Sent them a couple emails to try to get my money. No response or they tell me that it is still being processed. Finally I lost my cool and cussed them out to the max. They responded by telling me that Profanity is not tolerated and my account was now closed. I emailed back telling them they had no intention of returning my money ever and that they are literally stealing money from people. Never heard from them again.
The other complaints I've read are exactly like mine. Ordered the juicer 0n 7/28/07. Over three months later, nothing. Same old reply as others have stated--no refund, no proper response to my requests. The first thing they ever say is that I didn't read the agreement. They have kept changing the length of expected delivery--from 2 weeks to 3 months to 4 months! Now I get no response. I filed a complaint with the BBB (there are 23 unanswered there so far!) and will now file complaints to my credit card and the state.
Don't go there!
Over 6 months, and still getting excuses. I, unfortunately missed the 90 day cut-off with my VISA--looks like I'm out my money. PLEASE file complaints with complaintic3.gov, any consumer agencies you can find, and the BBB!
Everyone that has a complaint with BIZBUILDER, File a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center! It is a government agency that fights internet crime. Go to http://www.ic3.gov/ and file a complaint. If they get enough complaints, they will look into it and hopefully shut down this sham website that steals money and hopefully lock up these thieves!
Scam and cheating!
Ordered a JackLa Lanne Power Juicer 07/03/07. today is 10/19/07 Guess what? they took my $91.35 and never delivered. Go into the site, order something and see the run around you get. "It's in China", did you read the policy you agreed too?", etc. check out the bizbuilder complaint board and the F rating thru BBB. We found out too late as did others. Go ahead, order something... or are you scared...
Beware people!
I ordered a magic bullet back in Jan 07 which came with a cookware set. I received the magic bullet, but the cookware set never came. Customer service told me it was out of stock until Feb, then the summer, then the fall, then Feb 08. I contacted them in May 08 and I was told that the cookware was permanently out of stock and I can receive a refund of $2.49. I will never shop with them again.
I ordered from Biz Builder and could not believe that it took 4 months till my order was was finally delivered. Was told the delay was probably that it was coming from China! Also was supposed to be sent a 37 pce blender set, guess what only 11 pce! I was to be receiving a bonus set of pots also another free gift which was not even in the box. I just accepted what was there but I will NEVER order from Biz Builder again.
I AM STARTING A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST BIZBUILDER.COM - PLEASE SEND ME AN EMAIL TO JOIN IN! THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE STOPPED!
What a crock of crap. I've been a very 'happy customer' of this company for YEARS. I also know [first hand] that they offer a multitude of products and services for start-up companies worldwide.
Pov [whoever you are] - you're funny. By the way, it's "jack" of all trades - just so you know.
I'm amused when I read all of these poor "sad stories" of people who are so "innocently" ripped off - when, as I see it, this is nothing more than a pity party forum for losers who fail to take any responsibility for their own personal actions.
That includes you, Pov!
I think people should BEWARE..
This company is jock of all trades... Look on their website:
auctions, print, blenders, real estate... these guys are a joke. They used to be a print broker and now they dont know what to do with themselves.
If someone could resolve the IP addresses of those giving positive feedback, I will bet we will trace these computers to Bizbuilder offices.
SCAMMERS!
I ordered a power blender on April 14, 2007. It is now November 9th, and I still have not received the blender. I have contacted them over and over, and they tell me the blender will ship, but none of the tracking numbers really work. This is such a scam! I have tried to get American Express to help, but it is past the 60 day time period. DUH---it has only been seven months. Of course, they billed my card the first day of ordering.
BEWARE OF BIZBUILDER
BEWARE OF BIZBUILDER
BEWARE OF BIZBUILDER
I have been waiting forever for my juicer. Rather than answer my questions, they opted to cancel my account. Biz Builder is not a company that I will do business with.
You should have notified your card company to cancel the transaction as soon as you realized you mistakenly ordered from biz builder. If you wait the 90 days they claim you agree to, you cannot get your money back from your card company and they walk away with your cash. Luckily for me I found this site, like the next day after I ordered and realized I had been scammed by them. I printed the page where they advertise "In stock" and "Ships within 24 hrs" and sent it to my credit card company where they totally agreed with, that after 90 days your money is gone. The scammers then come to this site and post pro biz builder and then berate the people they are stealing from and try to convince them to wait, which is what they need. Time to steal your money. I ordered another juicer from another site and got it within a week as they advertised. They can say what they want about their fine print and blame the customer. What their main goal is, is to separate you from your money. I urge anyone who reads this, if its been within 6 weeks since you ordered call your card company right away and fill out the paperwork to get your money back . I got my money back so I'm not moaning, I'm just trying to warn unsuspecting people about them. I feel its my duty to other honest people. This is my opinion of them.
I'm with you! I've been a "happy camper" with BIZ Builder.Com for nearly 7 years. Their prices are way below wholesale - and their service is always a pleasure.
Certainly - these people who are complaining have never ordered before, and are expecting something that's not at all offered. If they would have taken the time to call BIZ or read their terms of service, they would understand how the program works.
In every complaint I've read, this is clearly a case of people trying to ### and moan about their own mistake. There's nothing else to say except I couldn't disagree more!
Nothing could be farther from the truth. I've been a customer of this website for over 3 years, and I've always received my orders exactly as advertised. Certainly, if you don't read and understand what you're getting in to - you might feel mislead, but ... who's fault is that?
BIZ Builder's business model involves "factory direct" distribution. Since most factories are in China, that's normally where your merchandise will ship from. THIS IS CLEARLY EXPLAINED IN THEIR TERMS OF SALE!
This person [Peni L Osso] must be a Democrat! Join the Republican Party and quit trying to blame everyone except yourself. Take responsibility for your actions, and act like an adult - instead of a child, Peni! No one forced you to order from this company! You placed an order, and obviously never took the time to read their shipping terms!
I LOVE BIZ BUILDER BECAUSE THEY SAVE ME A TON OF MONEY. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
This company is awful!
This company is awful. I ordered Swivel Sweepers on 6/1/07 for delivery by 8/1/07. Still waiting. The ad for the sweeper says "all orders ship in 24 hours" The ad looks genuine, exactly like the TV infomercial. It turns out they change the rules after you buy, saying 30-60 days, but probably less than 15. You cannot cancel your order. On Aug 1 I was told it was on a ship from China and should clear customs within 30 days. I am not holding my breath. I fully expect these to be counterfeit as I ordered Swivel Sweepers from Haband and they were counterfeit, looked good, but had zero power, and the handle was so flimsy that it broke off. Haband gladly took them back with a full refund, so I have no complaint about them. I just have a complaint against Biz Builder. I am anxiously awaiting their next excuse! I'll keep you posted!
Wow! This is an awesome blog that is related to Swivel Sweeper that one must see the T.v. Commercials regarding swivel sweeper and order it and the delivery will take place within 24 hours. I recommend that this is great to know.
So now they send me an email with a tracking number...ONLY after my credit card company got involved and forced their hand. Turns out that UPS has no record of the tracking number...and Bizbuilder claims the package shipped via UPS on 8-31-07. Today is 9-04 and UPS has no record of the number. Sounds like the typical way of doing business for this company. Sounds like BizBuilder needs to grow up and take care of their customers.
First - I've also ordered several times from this company, and second - on my first order, I was also given the same "story".
But, when I dug a bit deeper into this, I found that, in fact, BIZ Builder.Com fully disclosed this to me in both cases - but, in fact, I really never took the time to read their "terms of service". It turns out that when you place an order with them, you're required to be in agreement with their terms, which CLEARLY STATE that if the goods are not in their warehouse, they do automatically ship from China.
At first I was a bit miffed by this - but, I have to admit - it's my fault for not first reading their standard way of doing business. After I got over my expectations [which were obviously very different than what they were offering], I gave it another try, and I found that their service was EXACTLY AS PROMISED.
I would say to you both this: ADMIT THAT YOU NEVER READ THEIR TERMS, AND MOVE ON! You can't blame a company who requires you to be in agreement - and when you say you are, then come back later and say you were duped! Grow up, people!
I have had the same exact experience with this company on another product. I get the same run around and sad "slow boat from China" story. I called my credit card company and disputed the charges. I urge you to do the same.
Beware, Biz builder is a scam!
I joined the Biz Builder coop at Level 3 ($99 reg plus $99 a month membership fee). I ordered $4,000 of product any was told they would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. I waited, but no products. So I called and was told they still hadn't left China, and I needed to wait another month. Next month same thing.
The only thing you can count on this company to do is take the monthly fee. I have since canceled my account and asked for a refund for the products. (They won't refund the membership fees, $600 gone). It's been 2 weeks and still no refund for the products and they refuse to return any of my calls.
Beware Biz Builder is a scam.
George Massalas, the owner of the Bizbuilder is full of fake statements, fake numbers of the listings. He does not share much information and if you ask any question then he becomes super rude and argumentative.
He is always looking for naive and new customers to trap them in his over-priced deals.
Avoid him at any cost.
I found this site, among at least a dozen others with flaming complaints and allegations of fraud/scam/rip off, etc., while exploring the possibility of an online work-from-home opportunity with this company. Thank gawd I did!
I just have to second the observation of one of the plaintiffs here: Every single response defending this company is as if it were read from a script. Not one gives an example of what they ordered, when, and the date they received it. I challenge anyone to go to a website for any other company where people have lodged complaints (for paying for goods or services and not receiving them) and find "defendants" or "apologists" for the company blaming the victims. I guess every single person here who is pissed about paying for something and not getting it has nothing better to do with their time than make up their version of being ripped off in the same way? Furthermore, I guess they ALL didn't hold their mouths right when paying, or filling out the order for the merchandise, or some reason they are responsible for not receiving it, as the apologists would have some idiot believe? Kudos to those of you who ARE "Taking responsibility" and reporting them to every agency you can find. What a bunch of sleaze bags.
wow i sat here and read half these comments. i google searched the company after dealing with a bizbuilder real estate agent wanting me to pay for membership prior to telling me if they had any properties i was looking for. which cautioned me.AND I STUMBLED ACROSS THIS SITE. LOL (OBVIOUSLY BIZ BUILDER EMPLOYEES WRITING THIS CRAP) so i just want to say sorry to all of you that have been taken advantage of. i hope you can get some justice! and i didnt read the contract, but if you dont get your product how is that your fault? period! and ive been on ebay for years and import export can ship as fast as 5 days! once again people sorry for your loss.. KARMA IS KING!
I too feel for the BIGBUCKSBIZBUILDER scam. Paid near $70.oo for their program information and membership, but received nothing.
I called their customer service and tried talking to a person that didn't seem to understand english. She told me I needed to call customer service and gave me the same number I had just dialed. I told her that was the number I used to reach her. She stated, "can I help you" and started talking in circles again. I think they act stupid to avoid refund. Don't waste y0ur time with them..
I know these posts are quite old...but I just couldn't believe this company is still treating its customers the same way as it did 8 years ago. I am not a complainer. I am a doer. I took this company to small claims court and won. Problem is, you can't collect. If you go through all these posts, you will notice that the positive ones all say the exact same thing. We are complainers, we are lazy Americans, we didn't read the small print. I won the court case on the fact that I did read the small print and even though they printed their return policies (good thing they did) they were in direct violation of FCC rules on canceling orders and refunds. They offer items for sale that they do not currently have in stock. FCC rules state "Reasonable basis" means that the merchant has, at the time of making the representation, such information as would under the circumstances satisfy a reasonable and prudent business person, acting in good faith, that the representation is true. Supply. For each advertised item, is there a sufficient inventory on hand? This company told me they could not ship an item as it was no longer in stock at the same time they were auctioning off 10 of the same item. FCC rules also have a 30 day time frame, UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE. They stated that items ship within 3-5 business days, then tried to fall back on the 30 day rule. The rules also state that if you decide that you can ship the item at later, YOU MUST SEEK THE CUSTOMERS CONSENT to the delay. This is another area they faulted on. I gave them written confirmation of canceling the order and they refused, in writing. It was wonderful to go to court with all the documentation they provided me for my case!
What a bunch of BS. This company does an excellent job of providing "factory direct" merchandise at "factory cost" pricing!
In each and every case, the complaints I've read are clearly all about the consumer not understanding the business model of this company.
It's funny to see how many times people will moan and grown about their issues, and never actually admit that THEY ARE ACTUALLY TO BLAME.
I love this company - and will continue shopping for many years to come!
I'm glad I stopped by and read these complaints, but unfortunately, it was after I tried to apply for a cash refund. Now that it has been 7 months since I ordered and never received anything, I HIGHLY doubt they will be giving me a refund in 3 to 5 business days.
I called my debit card company to have my card canceled. That was very stupid of me to put all my CC info on that request for credit page (they even had me put down my CVV2 number) Bad bad bad! My debit card company told me that if BizBuilder was a reputable company, they wouldn't need me to put down my credit card info again as it should already be on file. [censored], I wish I had been thinking clearly before filling out that form! Anyways, I'm taking all my money out before one of those scammers takes it first!
Do yourself a favor and avoid any association with this organization.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ! It has been over 184 days since I ordered the Magic Bullet and as you can guess I never received it. I have email the company several times in the last couple of days . At first I tried to be polite and I waited 2.5 months before contacting them. They said that they had 90-120 days to deliver my product since it was coming from China. So I waited another 2 months, as I said I was trying to be patient about this whole thing. The second email said that I now had to wait 180 days before thinking about complaining that my item hasn't arrived. I think I am a reasonable person, so I waited 182 days with the hopes that my CC account would be refunded. NO SUCH LUCK ! I emailed them yesterday with my compaints, this time their email read " Your account access has now been terminated and we will not continue any futher correspondence with you". People of America, be smarter than I was,
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY *** BIZ BUILDER.com ***
Me and my husband ordered a juicer from BIZ Builder.com through online in September 2007. We were told that the juicer will be at our house within 3 months but it has been 8 months and there is no news about the juicer. We contacted many time via e-mail to the company since there is no live person to answer our call. We asked for refund 2 months ago but no credit was made into our account. We wanted to know what is the best way to get our money back. We believe that this a scame company and people should be aware of it. We are contacting the CA.'s consumer protection about this frud.
Beware of Biz Builder!
I ordered from Biz Builder a 21 piece "Magic Bullet" and one free Complete 5 piece cookware set on 12-15-2006. I received my magic bullet at the in of January 07. Today is [protected] and still never received my free 5 piece cookware set. I have kept in constant contact with the company, but they always have a excuse. In Dec.of 2006 they said it was on back order and should receive it at any time. Now when i talk to them, they say it will be on back order till 2008. I would never order from this company again. They have did nothing but lie to me. Most unreliable company I have ever dealt with. Beware of BIZ Builder.
We ordered online, The Magin Bullet, back in 2003 and still have it and it works awesome. We use it on a daily basis. We make Smoothies; I use it for my dogs treats when I need to grind up something.
We need to order a new Blender soon though, this one is getting worn out, from using it so much.
I personally love The Magic Bullet.
Sorry others are having problems.
@Andrea--They used to NOT have them in stores. And all you had was online to buy them. It appears that all online products, if you wait long enough, they will eventually come out on the market in stores, like Walmart...Even when they say, "Not sold in Stores" ...what they need to add to that is " not yet anyway"...lol
First mistake you all made was you ordered online. They offer it in stores people, you just have to use your noggin to find it. (try Walgreen's/Walmart) I personally have never used this product but it looks awesome and i would love to own one to try it myself. You are the ones who made the mistake of ordering crap online because you were probably too lazy to get up and look for it at a store and if you had done that you would have your magic bullet and wouldn't have to bother writing on here.
I ordered a "Magic Bullit" on 12-11-07, still not here yet. When I sent e-mail to the company, they would sent back the terms and conditions sheet a few days later. I sent a e-mail letting them know I feel like they are false advertising, and will be sure to let others know that. They in VERY harsh wording said I was using threats! I dont quite know how I was threating them, other than to tell the truth about them, and that is called honesty, a term I dont think they know. They now say they will have no contact with me... Like that has changed.. but I want my money or my product. I understand planes fly from China every day, often more than once. AND to you people that work there and put lies on this site could spend your time more productive manner, By using time finding paying customers orders and we wouldnt need this spot, face it this is a complaint blog, why are you calling us cry babies, and saying you made soo much money with this bogus company. be ashamed, how do you sleep at night?
I also ordered their personal blender system. It was to include a few free items as well as free shipping. I ordered on November 24, 2007 and still have not seen the product, nor have I received any updates. When I write to them, they refer me to their policy page. Granted, they say on this page that I must wait 180 days before they will refund my money, but really, who expects a shipment to take 4 months, even from China. I'm certainly not going to order from them again, and I truly don't expect to ever see the product nor have my money refunded. I suppose it's just a caveat of internet ordering and I should be happy I've only lost $50. My attempt at saving $20 has cost me $50, plus the $70 I'll have to spend to get it. Hmm... $120... I could have bought a really nice one. Lesson learned. Shop at another site.
They are a scam company. Don't buy anything from them.
There are other sites with the same products for the same price without the cheap freebee's, with real three day delivery, and a money back return policy. I'm not whining and I do have a life, and a pretty good one. I should have done a little research and Googled them before I bought anything. I bought another juicer, if I ever get the one I ordered from them I'll give it to someone in need, if I don't then my credit card co will have to reimburse me.
Bizbuilder, how do you sleep at night? You give crappy service and when anyone complains, you have an employee go on the complaint boards and write what a great company you are and pass it off as a customer. I've been told several times that i shouldn't complain about crappy service because I got a great deal (on a product I may never receive) and I didn't spend enough money to complain. I will never order from them again.
Wow - seems like quite a few of you have a real problem here! I'm happy to put in my in my 2-cents! I've been a BIZ customer now for 3.5 years - and jointed their "co-op" over 1 year ago.
I've placed MANY orders - and never had a problem [except for one order that was held up in U.S. Customs for over 30 days]. BIZ Builder has been a joy to work with - and I've also used them to produce many of my business printing requirements. As far as their "co-op" is concerned - I'm just thankful they offer the service! I've probably saved cost to $100,000.00 just being a co-op member.
I agree with the other poster: I think you guys are all cry-babies, and should get a life!
Just an update, I still have not received anything except excuses from Bizbuilder. I am at day 97. They guaranteed delivery in 90 days and will not allow me to cancel my order. Start ordering for Christmas 2008 and you may get your items in time. Also, I'm 99% sure Susan works for Bizbuilder.
I think you guys are NUTS! I've ordered 4 times from BIZ Builder.Com. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT THEIR WEBSITE IS A FACTORY-DIRECT PORTAL! It is not a typical retail website.
The prices are ROCK BOTTOM - but... sometimes, if they are out of stock in their warehouse - the goods simply ship direct from their factory partners [mostly in China]. You can't expect to get a $50 item - with FREE SHIPPING from China in 5 days! Common, people! Are you all spoiled brats, or what?!
If you want the blender for $50 - that retails for $150, you can order it at BIZ and wait, or... go to another site and pay $150! BUT... QUIT BEING BABIES!
My goodness...
I also feel conned out of about 60 bucks from bizbuilder.com. I ordered a "magic bullet" type blender system that was a bit cheaper and came with free shipping. I ordered it back in APRIL of 2007 it's now July 2007 and I still haven't received it yet. They said it's in the final stages of shipping but this is bullcrap.
I just sent them another email today telling them that 3 months is ample time to get my stuff mailed from china to the USA as I've ordered from there before. I'm about to move to a new residence and have little hope of ever seeing this package arrive.
DON'T BUY FROM BIZBUILDER.COM!
I don’t believe they are actually a company at all. They probably just have a fake website up and don’t have any products at all. They just take your money and give you the runaround for months hoping you’ll just give up and they can keep most if not all of your money in “shipping costs” or what not when they probably NEVER SHIPPED ANYTHING AT ALL!
I’m sure I won’t receive a response from these idiots either.
