Recieved a letter in the mail from a collection agency which is being run out of a house in Carson City NV. The letter states that I have charge that is in collections for somthing, someone called Pure Garcinia. I have attempted to call this shady operation but not to my surprise, there is no one who answers the phone. Would be curious to hear from others who may have recieved a similar letter as I will be pursuing legal action to it's fullest including making a trip to his little yellow house and dragging him out into the street bu his ears.

Wow...I received a letter a couple of days ago stating that I owe $44. It states that it's for Forskolin Belly Buster. Have no ideal what this is for. I tried to call and got an recording and was unable to speak to anyone. I am not paying this bill since I have no clue as to what it is for. When I check online, it say that it is for something which was purchased in August 2015. Still have no clue as to what it is.

Received a pink letter from collectors dated Dec 30 2015 stating I owed them $166.40 for Garcinia Cambogia Supreme that I have never ordered. I called the [protected] 'customer service' number and its a loop of instructions on how to pay or dispute. Went to the site: www.collectors.com to file a dispute and once again its all about how you can pay this. I am not paying a dime for something I have never ordered.

I just got a letter from collectpros stating I owed 79.95 for Oxy Genius, stay away from the ad..It claims to send a free sample butttt you need to cancel within 30 days in the fine print. They took the 79.95 out of my bank account, for the free one, I called them told them to stop sending the product they said they would then sent another bottle and tried to take another 79.95 out of my bank account but my bank called me. I told them I had already talked to them telling them to stop sending me product and said to stop the transaction which they did. I had to cancel my debit at a charge because of these scammers Oxy Genius, who are a overseas company. Go figure! now they are trying to bully me for more money with a company they most likely own. I sent a cease and desist letter..

I recently received a pink Collect Pros collection letter dated January 13th, 2016. Collect Pros insists that I have an overdue balance of $35.6 for my order of the "Jacked Muscle X" product and that I must make a payment within 30 days. While I did order online a free one-month trial sample of the "Jacked Muscle X" product (60 red capsules) and paid for its shipping, I canceled the monthly subscription within 30 days and ended my obligation. This muscle gain supplement product is also sold under many other names (perhaps it is a franchise opportunity for scam artists). The Collect Pros phone number is a recording that directs you to the "www.collectpros.com/dispute" web site. At the web site, you enter the reference number you received in the pink letter and it displays the information associated with the supposed claim. The order number associated with my debt ([protected]) did not match the actual order number for my free one-month trial sample. I just assumed that my order information somehow got mixed-up with the order number of a customer who is delinquent in payment. After finding this web site, I am convinced it is probably a scam. Collect Pros either illegally obtained my customer information from the muscle gain supplement vendor that I originally placed my order with, or they are in cahoots with them. May law enforcement shut down these fraudalent companies; they are probably a front for generating revenue for the Islamic State.

I just, today, received a letter from collect pros stating that I owed $35.60 for jacked muscle x. WTF! I paid with a credit card several months ago for a free 1 month supply. Paid for, never received anything else from these jackoffs including any mail, bill, more product, nothing! This has got to be a scam. How should I deal with this?

I, too received a letter from Collect Pros for $155 for LashPro. I ordered a FREE sample and paid $6 for shipping, NEVER received the product and now they are trying to hit me for some membership?

I went online and filled out a request to be contacted, but the email came back as undeliverable, twice. What do we do? I don't want this affecting my credit! I am going to send a certified letter, return receipt to their PO Box, but somehow just don't believe it's a real address

I've even called Lash Pro and they refuse to even talk to me, stating I have to contact collect pros?
What do we do?

My comment as almost exactly the same as the two above - I got a letter from them date October 22nd, demanding the exact same amount - 175.26 - but for different products. Mine was for Elite Test 360 and Ripped Muscle X. I ordered and paid for both these products last February, and call the manufacturers to confirm that they had no outstanding debt on record. What was weird though is that the manufacturer just told me to "disregard the letter". When I asked them how I could get Collect Pros information that the debt was not valid and should be removed, the manufacturer told me "it's fine, they have access to the same system I am looking at".
I would love to get a class action going against them for credit fraud.

I also received a letter demanding payment of $175.26 for Beauty Labs and Perfect Age Skin Care ($87.63 each). The demand letter is dated Oct. 22, 2015 with reference #855094, with payment due in 30 days of receipt.
My letters return address is 12924 Pierce St. #101, Pacoima, CA 91331.
This is a junk product which I cancelled in 2014 via telephone. They charged me again for another shipment, via my credit card, which I disputed with my bank and the company did not respond within 45 days.
This is a scam and should be shut down immediately.

I received a letter from COLLECT PROS dated October 22, 2015, demanding payment for overdue balance of $175.26 for BEAUTY LABS | PERFECT SKIN CARE $87.63. The referance number is 863233. It contained a payment coupon to be paid within 30 days. I ordered this product on 1/24/2015 and paid for 2 months in the amount of $87.63 for each. I found the product did not work as advertised, so I canceled this order in February 2015. I was charged for 2 months again on February 22, 2015, in the amount of $87.63. I was refunded $43.82 and $43.81 on February 23, 2015. The charges and refunds were transacted on my Visa With Patelco Credit Union. I am not responding to COLLECT PROS. Christine W. CA

I too received a collection letter from collect pros for $165.94 for Pure Garcinia Cambogia 86.67 and Green Coffee Pure Cleanse $79.27 . I tried the products in a trial for postage only but did not order. This is clearly a scam and needs to be stopped. What should I do write the company or just ignore it.

I too just received a collection notice from collect pros. I spent 30 min on hold and someone picked up. Gave them my reference number and they had my info. I did purchase the product back in Jan 2015. Have Credit card statement to prove that I paid for the transaction. I want told that I had to file the complaint online. I then said "I have you on the phone, why can't I file a dispute with you? I have proof that charges in question were already paid for". I was told it's not their responsibility. I ask to speak to a manager and was hung up on. Got on the website to dispute charges and immediately said "charges were valid" with a submit payment option on the bottom. Issued a complaint with the BBB

Just received my Collect Pros letter, mine is similar to Magazines, mine has to do with an order of Elite Test 360 / Rippled Muscle X. Well here is the funny part. I did order the product, and canceled within the 30 days. They sent me the conformation in February of my cancellation.
Collect Pros dates my bill for October. So they are getting tricky, how they knew I even bought the product is suspicious as is?

Received a pink letter from Collect Pros with a demand for payment in 30 days for a remaining balance from an online subscription for "MyHealthyFitnessPlan Monthly" which I had called to cancel YEARS AGO. All fees have been paid through my credit card through date of termination of the contract. Now I'm receiving a demand for payment. On a program that was never used and had already been cancelled long ago! Weird! Payments are to be sent to Woburn. MA but they are operating out of Pacoima, CA from an LLC.

I received one in the mail yesterday. From a company that I requested a sample. Then after reading the reviews I cancel led immediately. I have a 850 fico score. If this effects that I will be extremely aggravated. I also tried to call, without being able to talk to a human. I wrote a dispute letter, and am sending it return receipt requested, just in case they say they they did not receive the letter. I am so angry at this scam. Amazing how many of us have received them. I am in high hopes that this is a scam!

Today I received bill from Collect Pros for $175.26 purportedly for two sample products I'd received from La Crema Skin Care and BellaLabs. These were advertised as free samples on the internet but when I received them I discovered that unless I returned the samples within l4 days I would receive the products monthly at considerable cost. I called the company and confirmed I would return the products and did send them back immediately. Now months later I receive this collection notice from Collect Pros. I don't know where to take my complaint. All I can do is advise anyone who sees an ad for a free trial offer, not to respond - because nothing is free. You give them your credit card number for shipping the free samples and, chances are, even if you try to return the product samples, you will be billed for products you don't receive.

A couple of years ago, I responded to an internet ad for a free tooth whitening sample. Although I called to cancel the trial within the l4 days limit, I received three or four different charges to my credit card in one month, each from a different tooth whitening company totalling over $800, American Express credited my account, but I believe they lost the $800.

Beware the internet. If an offer looks too good to be true, it probably is.

I am glad I came across this site. I received a collection letter from "Collect Pros" for "Bella Labs" in the amount of $87.63. I initially thought this was for a medical service, but I had not had any "lab work" for over a year and there were no outstanding bills--they had been paid in full. When I researched Bella Labs online, I discovered they sell beauty products. I remembered that I had ordered a "30-free trial sample", but paid for shipping. I cancelled the order the following day, I kept a "screenshot copy" of my cancellation letter.

What I discovered about this company is after 10 days this company charges the credit card used for "shipping costs" and then ships (sometimes) a "full size" product, then charges the customer $87.63. Fortunately for me, I used a Visa gift card for the shipping charges and when Bella Labs tried to charge the card it was declined. So, apparently they decided to try to collect with a collection agency for a product I did not order and charges I did not authorize. I never received the original product--which I had forgotten about--until today that I had ordered, and I did not receive the "full size product".

Bella Labs and Collection Pros and rip-off scam artists. Keep submitting complaints to the BBB and any/all consumer agencies about these companies to stop these companies' fraudulent practices!

Received one too for Entertainment Weekly Magazine in the amount of $365.75. Did not order or ever even receive. Plus, what magazine subscription costs almost $400?! I called [protected]. Got through the automated system to finally talk to a real person. Indian accented. He kept trying to make me believe I owed this, but I remained adamant that I did not. So he referred me to www.collectpros.com/dispute. Their "dispute" system also attempted to get me to believe that this debt was valid, even stating that they have me on audio recording agreeing to the debt. When I clicked on the very tiny report fraud button at the bottom & wrote a statement refusing the validity of this debt, & also asking for a copy of the supposed audio recording, I then get a notification window stating that all collection attempts from them will be terminated. Scam!

I received the same pink letter today with the exact same amount. It is for US Weekly Magazine. The collect pros said that I should pay immediately otherwise it would affect my credit score. When I called they suggest me to dispute it from www.collectpros.com/dispute. When I did that it showed that the debit is very valid and they have the phone conversation audio to prove it. I called US Weekly magazine but they said that I have no account there. Is this really a scam? Will it affect my credit?
Please suggest !

My mother received a pink 'collection' letter from Collect Pros stating she owed them 87.95 for eye serum. She never ordered eye serum. We gave them a jingle and they advised us to pay $67 TODAY and the rest would be 'forgiven'. Threatened with legal action. Since I'm an informed consumer and a contributor to MYFICO...I gave them the 'heave ho' and really made them angry, lol! Do NOT pay this bill. I am going to file complaints with the proper organizations. What a bunch of ###s.

My name is Anne Montissol

I recently received a notice from Collect Pros . They claimed that I owed $274.05 for a product named, Weekly Magazine. Truth to be told that scam is kind of stupid considering the fact that I have never even heard of that product, I called and waited to speak with the so call agent no one picked up, and when I researched collect pros data every website stated that it is nothing but a scam.
I hope no one falls for that trick.

On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, I received a pink collection letter from Collect Pros that on October 27, 2014, I ordered Entertainment Weekly Magazine and I now owe $332.50. I called the number on the letter immediately but it was an answering machine that had a recording that just kept looping back to the same message. I called today and actually talked to a female who could not speak much English. I told her I did not order any magazines. I stated that I demand proof that I ordered this magazine. When I mentioned my attorney, the female hung up on me. I called right back and I think it was the same female and she again hung up on me. It has to be a scam! I did not order the magazine and I do not order magazines because I do not have time to read them. I hope somebody stops these people soon.

i received from collect pros a collection notice stating the amount in collections is $365.75 for a subscription to Entertainment Weekly Magazine.. wtf pardon me, i in my right mind or not would never even consider ordering a subscription that costs $365.75. i also know there is nowhere that a subscription to any magazine costs that much not even 10yrs worth. so anyway i called the number heard an automated voice listened to it in its entirerty at the end it prompted me to press 3 to speak with a representative, she introduced herself and prompted me for the reference # the file came up on her computer as me and my address and she told me i had to go online to validate a dispute, so i did. this is what i received:...
