Customer service will not respond to requests for information on upgrading firmware on *** proximity watch. Have attempted to get response fo weeks. Daily requests for respone has yielded zero results

Sent watch for repair. Got invoice for replacement watch. Paid invoice and they canceled and offered one for 50%. I sent my watch for repair as instructed. I received a invoice from Citizen showing that the watch could not be repaired and replacement watch $.01 plus shipping and tax. I paid the invoice and the next day they canceled it ans sent a 2nd one offering to replace it for 50% retail.

Citizen does not answer the phone, says they are closed and to send them an email. Don't respond to email. I can't return a watch! No response. I followed their instructions to return an item. I called them and they have a recording that states they are closed but to send them an email. I sent many emails and no one responded. It says that I need to get authorization to return a watch within 30 days but no one responds!

Trying to return 3 watches. Must have authorization. Have repeatedly contacted business requesting this, with no response. On June 10, I ordered three Citizen watches from the manufacturer, from which my mother was to choose one as a birthday present. None suited. On July 1 I contacted Citizen requesting a return authorization. Their phone number offers no option to leave a message. I have emailed repeatedly, *** and can get no response. Sent watch in for warranty work, but citizens wanted to charge me $100 to repair it. Watch was returned missing a link and 2 watch link pins. My citizen watches under manufacturer's warranty and I took it to the authorized repair facility Jared who sent the watch in to citizens for repair citizens decided that they did not want to cover it and wanted to charge $100 for the repair. I decline the repair because it was supposed to be covered by warranty. citizens return the watch to Jared but when I picked up the watch it was missing a link and the pins to connect the watch together. The person that Jared did not want to try to help me at that point I just gave me the watch back and sent me on my way.

I have Ecodrive Citizen watch with a 6 year guaranteed. Watch has moisture in the face but watch is divers watch to 200m. Should be easy fix. I have Ecodrive Citizen watch with a 6 year guaranteed. I have to sedn in the watch for them to inspect it before letting me knwo if its accidental damage i told rhem it wasnt and they didint believe me the fact is it has not been damaged and has moisture in which for me is a fault as its a divers watch designed to be under water so i get the feeling they will come back and say its my fault, I wont be buying Citizen again as this customer services/ guarantee is not up to scratch. is not great. a decent company would send out a courier to collect repair and return for free.

Business reneged on warranty repair The watch battery was defective, and I wanted to replace it. Battery is supposed to hold a charge for almost a full month after a full charge. I charged it for several days in full sunlight, but the battery discharges after a week of use. I initially wanted to replace the battery myself. I contacted the Citizen customer service to inquire about the battery model. Citizen customer service says that the watch battery should not need to be replaced for 40 years and that if there is an issue, I should ship it to their service center for repair. Since I would prefer an expert to repair than myself, I agreed and shipped the watch, at my own expense, to their service center. The service center then looked at the watch, fully charged it, and said nothing was wrong with it. They then shipped it back to me. By the time I took it out of the box (approx. 6 days from when they shipped it out), the watch battery was already completely drained and the watch hands were again not moving. This proves that the battery is indeed defective, as I originally stated

Doesn't honor their 5 year warrant. Charged the watch accordance to guidelines watch stopped working due to excessive heat. Won't repair eco drive. I spoke with Citizen on the phone with regards to my repair and they couldn't supply me with a direct email to the President of the company. The issue I am having with the watch is, I went to charge the watch under a lamp and when I took it out from under the lamp, the dials had stopped working. I sent it in to the repair department in California. Prior to sending it in they said that it would be covered under warranty. I received an estimate for the watch. They said that it would cost 392.07 to repair the watch as they stated it melted under the light. I charged the watch more than 16 inches away from the light. I don't mind paying for the other stuff that was damaged but the Eco drive should be covered under your 5 year warranty. They said it isn't- because it overheated. There is a manufacturing defect of the watch for the watch to over heat especially when it caused the ECO drive to stop working , and I charged the watch from 16 inches away. I received the watch as a present and when I spoke to someone on the phone they told me it was under warranty as I purchased it in 2017. I know it retails for 700 dollars. On your website you are having a sale currently for 500 dollars and I find it a bit ridiculous to pay 400 dollars to fix a watch when I can buy a new one for another 100 dollars. I am disappointed in your company because any other watch I have had which is under warranty they fix it without any issues because they stand by the manufacturing of their watch. I own numerous watches from Rolex to other brands that stand behind their service. I have over 20 citizen watches which I have no issues with, however the one time I have an issue with a watch I can't have it repaired. I spoke to someone on the phone asking if they could do anything about it and the woman on the phone stated that she couldn't do anything about it and when I mentioned that I would be following it up and I would be emailing the VP and the CEO of the company she stated in a rude tone " you go ahead and do that". I am just very disappointed in your after care sales service. This experience has put me off from buying a Citizen watch. When watches retail over 500 dollars you expect a company to be more obliging and expect them to help you. From my experience with the company they could care less about you. I have emailed the VP of sales and the manger at the repair department.
