My real estate agent recommend this Cinch as a home warranty company. I will make to sure to tell her not to recommend to anyone else. My AC stopped working and I contacted the company. They scheduled me TWO months later with Sears. The day Sears was to come to the house, no one showed, called, or rescheduled. Mind you this had been all summer months. I tried to call sears only to receive AI and NO HUMAN to speak to, I called cinch and it took another month for ANYONE to come to the house. Then when they FINALLY replace the HVaC it is only the air handler. I paid 3,300 dollars and they paid 300. Not to mention the 150 deductible. What is the home warranty? I find this to be unacceptable and now I still have to pay the monthly premium because if I cancel I may have to pay them back? For what? Nothing? DO NOT get CINCH, it is a fraud.
Claimed loss: 3,300 dollars for costs not covered!!!
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of 2000.

We are currently dealing with the same issues. Sears was one of the corrupt companies sent. Cinch sent technicians out each summer for 5 years. Every tech said the issue was a leak, that they had repaired the leak and filled with coolant. The warranty: $800-1000 reach year, deductible: $150-175 each year, coolant: $60 per gallon varying amounts each year. We cancel contract after several complaints of same issue, no resolve and file with BBB. Cinch scheduled a series of contractors to diagnose, of course 2 of which had previously been out and were part of the "we fixed the leak" problem, so never showed. The last 2 companies correctly diagnosed, stated that no repairs have ever been completed and stated that they could guarantee Cinch would refuse to repair it replace, putting the cost on us. Nearly $7k and 5 years later we're told that they'll order new handler and unit but will only cover just over $700. They manager said we could deny that and pay full price and they would buy us out for just over $1300 or try to negotiate our portion with the current technician that has no stake in this. Had anyone been honest, we would have afforded a new until 3 years ago. This will cost is over $12 k when all is said and done.
