unauthorized charges
I have been getting unauthorized charges from this company for months. I have emailed them a few times and they refuse to provide a phone number or reverse the charges. I had a membership back in 2000 and cancelled it within a year. I hadn't been charged since then until last year and they have shown me no proof that I re-activated or enrolled in membership. Just looking at all of the other complaints I'm wondering if anyone has figured out how to get refunded or how to have this company investigated for theft.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I'm receiving threatening letters from cbomc asking me to pay $71.00. I do not want any books also I did not agree to any terms or signed anything. Is there any complaint forums or courts I can seek help to take action against this scam company?
if they have your credit card info remove the card from the website.. if you can't remove change the expiration date or other info in the card .. i think they cannot charge you in this way..
I just had the same experience. I was charged for a book I never received and had to dispute the charge with my bank because their customer serivce departemnt never called me back or returned my e-mails. I just had been charged an extension fee for not returning the book I never received and now I have to dispute that with my bank because I know they will not return my calls. They should be shut down. Chegg.com is way better and I love them. Collegebookrenter.com is auwful! NEVER WILL DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGIAN OR RECOMMEND THEM...
