On Thursday, the 8th of April 2010, my colleague and I stopped at the Chicken Licken in Randfontein to order a take away meal. We waited for the order.
I later commented that people are receiving their order who arrived after us. When my colleague went to ask the lady behind the counter where our order was (this was 20 minutes later), we discovered that they had not started with the order!
We then asked that the order be cancelled and were refunded our money.
We asked that the Manager be called and a very 'laid back' lady appeared, who was not too stressed or helpful about our complaint. We asked for the Head Office number, and the toll free number was given.
The toll free number has now been phoned 4 times, and the same voice recording - promising us to come back to us within 48 hours, is still playing.
What we got from Chicken Licken was not even bad service. It was NO service.
If the was zero rating I would do that for the food just bought rock my soul three the thigh looked like a biltong and the meat was not hot because they re fried yesterday's meat what a waste of money

I was not allowed to enter the store because i had a trolley with my groceries.
I was told they are not allowed inside, i was alone and opted to leave the store.
How do i leave a trolley with groceries outside a shopping centre?
Yesterday 01 December 2023 at 16:52 I bought 12hot wings and Soul sister 2. I was disappointed to find that I was only given 10 wings instead and this is not the 1st time in this store, they did the same when I came in to buy party 16 in September they have me 15, I count because u always share with my son.

on early morning around 11:18 I sent my husband to buy me lunch at chicken licken Louis Trichardt ,He bought meal 8 which is hot wings meal and the order no was 3037, when he come back with the lunch I realized that the mini loaf is spoiled. Am not happy at all, why are they selling rotten staff

I bought an 8 wing special from the drive through in durban north and I cannot get over how salty the meal was. It's ridiculous. All u taste is salt and no flavour. Ridiculous. Never buying chicken licken again! KFC has a signature flavour, but never ever salty! What is chicken lichens signature flavour? Is it SALT?
i went to the chicken licken branch here in rodekop, on 22/06/2023 at 12:53. i won't even mention the horrible service but the rotten pcs of wings had a few, picked up one tasted off. had removed the bone from the other one and guess what. i was rotten rotten.im so dissapointed, and desatisfied . unacceptable...!

It's not really a complain as I enjoy chicken licken..
Just want to bring it to your attention that the chicken coating is very salty.. Every time we buy the chicken doesn't matter where we buy its still salty..

I bought feed my cravings and rock my soul 3, on the 18th of April 2023, GUYS! Can we discuss how bad the SALT WAS! I could not even my wings but to throw it away the way the salt was unbearable!
yesterday (09.01.23) at 18.23, Order #3232. went to chicken licken the Glen Orpen Road, ordered 3 rock my soul only to find 8 pieces of chicken instead of 9. I couldn't return back as I stay in meyerton which is in the Vaal.

Second time getting cold and dried out food,its such a waste of money...will rather support kfc or nandos in the future...

I bought 2 lunch meals and Chicken Licken, MOTS. The chicken was not well fried, it was brown - blackish in colour. We didn’t enjoy the food as we had bought burger for the child and we were told that only food bought from them is allowed. We were eating and the child was looking at us 🫣. Above all , the chicken was horrible
On the 26 October 2022 I went to Steve Biko Road, Berea abd bought Party 16 but when I reach home I found that I have 14 wings. Can you please advise into how to recover as I am not happy. I could not go back to the store but please re imburse for the loss
27th of September at 7 in the evening I went to buy 12 hot wings and when I got there the waiters made fun of me and on top of that gave me small half wings for R73 and made me pay for the sauce... this happen the new chicken licken in newlands, Johannesburg at the sasol garage.order number #1200

What a horrible service apparently if u have a trolley u not allowed to enter inside and if u sitting outside they don't bring your food with a tray imagine! my mom was sick she had to sit outside

I'm disappointed that your stuff is selling us old wings. I bought 12 rocket wings. Only to find half of the wings are yesterday wings. The wings are even hard and much darker in colour. This is not the first time people complain about the food in this franchise.
They even smell funny ( burned chicken)

The staff here are rude and arrogant no values or customer service in a space of 15 minutes 4 customers complaining about the service I would suggest an immediate address of the pathetic, putrid service.
On the 14 October 2019 chicken licken thabong I bought hot meal at 17:26 waited for an hour only to find that the order wasn't placed after complaining all they said was sorry which didint seem even good enough cause their body language stated otherwise

I would like to find out what does it cost for a customer to view a cctv footages. My wife went to 1 of your store and purchased a meal and forgot her wallet on the counter, she went back after few minutes to check it and no 1 seems to have seen it.

On 19 July 2019 I purchased a Boerie burger from your Viking branch.
The bun was old and crumbly, patties fried dark and dry and very little sauce and 1 slice of gurkin. The burger was tasteless and very dry.

The chicken was off smelt really bad ate some of it at first until I came to the rotten pieces
I feel sick discusted
Took it back and got a refund

This is the second time ii am purchasing a meal 8 in the drive through and going home to see that it was not what ii ordered ii am highly irritated and unsatisfied with this service and being ripped of by paying for something and receiving less.. I have pictures with the slips showing proof of the wrong order being given to me
1st i bought soul lunch meal, +original lunch meal, but they only served original lunch meal, inside my meal the was hair inside i asked for a manager she only told me she is sorry the is nothing she can do, as a client that bought and paid she was suppose to take back the meal and serve proper meal, cause i didn't even finish eating that meal,
We must stop to support any bussiness that give's us poor quality service, or goods.They do not need our money.
