Cherie Young Website Designs
This goes back a few years- I recall reading other negative reviews about Cheri Young website designs that matched my experience on a different site- I can no longer find it.
For my website- she kept pushing the deadline back- over and over. And she would constantly beg for sympathy and cite family struggles and grievances. I believe she was not making it up- but as the customer it put me in a horrible position. I was paying a lot of $- she wasn’t delivering- and she’d constantly bring her personal life into it. This was very frustrating- but things took a far worse turn.
Around 6 months after the promised completion date- things were finally being wrapped up. I needed an edit that seemed simple to me (Mayb I was wrong but I don’t believe so). She said times up- I’ll have to pay more $.
I had paid $15,000. She wanted something like $300 more. I said forget the edit then- I’m not paying more.
She ends up taking it upon herself to do the edit anyway, and saying she’ll only charge $150.
I was so angry. After $15,000 I felt everything was being held hostage for $150- and it was! Because I hired someone else to make copies of the site and change passwords and lock her out- well when she saw this she locked the site down.
We made copies- and successfully launched without her. But she did everything she could to prevent us from doing so- after I paid the entire contract amount.
Unprofessional. Horrible experience. Run the other way.
Charged $300 after sign up
I signed up to Cherieyoung.com website and the same moment they took $300 from my bank account. I was not warned about this charge. I would never pay so much money for their services. It a thievery! I will leave hundreds of complaints on their website and I will be doing it until they pay me back.

Jordan, at any time you could have contacted your Amazon server account manager if you lost your login. We have never locked anyone out of their site. You can see using archive.org you had your domain up for several years:

I can see that your domain was probably active until 2021.
I under charged you for this type of work. Try and get this done again for $15K by an agency based in the U.S. and you will find the price will double for developers with experience. I'm not talking about India, Pakistan, Philippines. U.S. based developers.
To complain about $300 is funny actually and it's on you for letting your beautiful powerful website lapse. You probably couldn't find anyone for $5 an hour to help you manage your site.
Correction on the design we did for Jordan Stickl, it was back in 2018, more than 4 years ago, not 10 years ago.

Jordan, after reviewing your gorgeous design with Matt today, 11-22-22, yes it's still in our database, there are a few items you have lied about. First of all, you always had access to your site. You were on an Amazon server with full privileges, including your WordPress site. Not only did we send you the login for your site, you could have called Amazon at any time for access. You had the login for your Amazon server, it was in your email and your credit card. This was your server, in your name. I could have easily charged $30K for this work after reviewing today. Plus even with a delay, you had everything you needed to make your business work with www.roommaterealty.com. We spent alot of time training you, you knew what to do.

Also, Jordan Stickl, at no time did we lock the site down. You were on your own server, WordPress and had access to whatever you needed.
I am providing full documentation on a Colorado Real Estate Broker who contacted Jordan Stickl, hence a comment 10 years ago. No, we don't do endless edits without being paid. It doesn't matter how much the project costs are.
This was for a beautiful design we did for Chris Tucker. There is alot of information to follow here. It's a timeline and the massive emails/requests for work that were not part of the original scope of work for a semi-custom homepage design. Chris has a history as you will see 5 out of 5 with developers not working out for him.

I will have no reservations about including anyone in a defamation lawsuit that are trying to harm my business. We have a great reputation and have created beautiful designs for almost 20 years.

Jordan, we created a beautiful site for you years ago! It was a massive project and well worth $15K to create. Yes, at that time my son had been in an almost fatal accident, pushing the deadline back. It seems as though another agent is spurring this negative review and I will be pursuing a defamation claim against him.
