Used car
My name is sherry smithwricklogan and I purchase a 2010 Lexus rx350, when I purchase the car there were a couple of times ; that we agree would be repair and IR has not been done, I purchased in April and it is August. I had one appt to do one of the things agreed any that was to secure the engine cover and they put five pieces and didn't do the other should have been about 10or 12 pieces to secure the cover. The n the driver side button was broken off and the salesmen talk to the manger and agree to fix that as well and they stated the piece was on order at the service center and the last thing was a small tore in the driver side passenger door and the service center stated they recommended replacing but would have to contact the used checker flag for approval. I have been calling and leaving several messages for months to my sale mane Micheal Morales and the manage of the used checker flag. Micheal contact me once telling me it was a delay and he would get back with we, I have gone there ones and he just talked around saying he would just on the order of the button for the seat and see about the other thing and when I call he has never been available after and no return call and I left message for the manager and no one re;turn call from him at all. This is not good business. This is the Virginia Beach location [protected], I also in April advise Micheal within the first 30 it seems like something was loose when I go over things. 2011 volkswagen cc
I sent my 2011 volkswagen cc in for a noise to Checkered Flag Volkswagen and reading up on the noise its a timing chain tensioner they told me there is nothing wrong with it which I now it is the problem because I sent it to another Shoppe and they told me that the tensioner is the problem and volkwagen sed no it's not. If they did their research they will find out that is a very common problem with these cars and it's not like I was asking them to do it for free under the recall I have extended warranty on the car
Not doing what they agreed to....
Checkered Flag VW of Virginia Beach promised me a 2nd key when I bought my used Jetta. Now they claim they have no record of the promise and will not honor the agreement. They want me to pay $154.
for just a valet key (not one of the push button keys). They claim there is nothing they can do. Well, I think there is something they can do and they simply won't do it...DO NOT BUY A VOLKSWAGEN FROM CHECKERED FLAG ~ AS A MATTER OLF FACT I WOULDN'T BUY A CAR FROM ANY CHECKERED FLAG DEALERSHIP! Whatever happened to good old customer service?
I recently traded in my car for a VW .. since the moment I drove off the lot its been a NIGHTMARE! Our salesman Matthew was great .. until the paperwork was all signed and then he felt like it wasn't his obligation anymore to uphold his end of the transaction! Its been over a month and they have yet to pay off my loan from the trade in! They have already sold the car I traded in ... which I don't see how this is legal having two loans from two different people! I had to go and fill out paperwork two times already because there finance department can't get their documents correct ... each time resulting in a higher payment! I gave them my credit card number to charge for a $1000 down payment, since I bought the a VW .. since the moment I drove off the lot its been a NIGHTMARE! Don't feel badly, these people fired me while I was out on sick leave (body shop/ by Bill Evans) for emergency hip surgery, with no notification to the fact until I returned to tell them my return to work date.
Finally forced to take Social Security Dissability retirement, I have plenty of time now to let the public know how they operate. It's all and only about the money at any location owned by them.
