CheapFlightsFares review: "booked twice, paid twice, no help – my nightmare with cheapflightsfares"

I recently had a highly frustrating experience with CheapFlightsFares that I feel compelled to share. My husband initially booked a flight ticket for our son, Jayden Allen, scheduled for May 11, 2025, departing from Charleston, WV, to Colorado Springs, CO. However, for some reason, the transaction did not go through his bank, prompting me to repurchase the ticket using my own account. That purchase was successfully processed, and we believed the issue was resolved.

When my husband contacted CheapFlightsFares to inquire about his original booking, he was informed that the ticket was not valid since the bank had declined the transaction. However, on the morning of Tuesday, May 6, 2025, we woke up to find that approximately $480 had been withdrawn from my husband's account for that same ticket — meaning we were charged twice for the same flight.

I immediately contacted customer service, hoping for assistance in resolving this duplicate charge. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke to was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unwilling to answer my questions. Instead of looking into the issue, they repeatedly insisted that our bank had declined the transaction. No matter how much I tried to explain that the money had indeed been withdrawn from our account, the representative refused to listen. In the end, they simply told me to call back and speak with my bank — then abruptly hung up on me.

This company’s lack of professionalism and unwillingness to assist customers is unacceptable. Not only did their poor handling of transactions result in us paying for two tickets when we only needed one, but their customer service was unhelpful and outright dismissive. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CheapFlightsFares. I urge anyone considering booking through them to think twice and opt for a more reliable travel booking service.
