I was booked through CheapCaribbean for a vacation to the RIU Palace Aquarelle in Jamaica from October 26 to November 1, 2025. Because Melissa was scheduled to land on 10/26/2025, Delta Air Lines canceled our flights on 10/25/2025. I called Cheap Caribbean to inform them. I was told what I would receive in travel and air credits which was in total $2799.49. To date, I have received $932 per person in travel credit, $1864 in total. I have been calling for nearly two weeks, on hold for a minimum of two hours to find out where the rest of my money is. ABSOLUTEY NO ONE has an answer. And to top it off, the rep said we were charged $100 per-person cancellation fee. HUH? HOW? Delta canceled the flight so how were we supposed to get there during a hurricane? Again, no answer. I will be writing the corporate office concerning their shoddy practice. I am totally disgusted with this company and would advise steering clear.
Recommendation: Steer clear
