After 3 years of satisfactory internet service with Spectrum, today I signed up for Frontier fiber that offered cheaper and faster service. With no info on how to stop internet service, I walked into a spectrum store with the cable modem to return and stop service. After 30 min of waiting (while those not terminating services were helped ahead of me), I was called to a table to be told nothing can be done until I call a phone number only available to be given at this store. After spending 10 minutes on the phone listening to attempts to change my mind, I am back in the walk-in queue to get a receipt for return of cable modem. I complained to spectrum personnel in store and all i got was attitude. So after close to 90 minutes in terminating internet service, I am now free of Spectrum. Nex, I am terminating my mobile service with Spectrum because of this experience.
