Good morning, this email is meant to be received by head office. Im currently enrolled in one of your Edmonton campuses. For the past 6 months my entire class of 17 students have been struggling to dispute our issue with text books, and getting a refund as we either had to go buy our own to use, had them from previous or didn't ever receive books we were paying for. Our class had gotten a resolution 6 weeks ago when the director and samantha came to our class stating what we were to receive as a a refund and that we would receive this refund within 4-6 weeks of signing the refund documents. Yesterday was the exact day of waiting 6 weeks for this refund and we were all told that we were to go down and speak to advisors about cheques and when I went down there, for one they denied saying they'd be ready in 4-6 weeks however 17 students will tell you the same thing they told us. And two they are saying they are only now sending in our paper work this week which is now going to take much longer to receive this refund and there's nothing they can do. I'm upset as I budgeted to get this money back (money I wasn't supposed to pay in the beginning) for my children's daycare, food and other Bill's that have been falling behind and now I'm being told we aren't receiving them this week... I went in 3 weeks ago asking if there was any way I could receive mine closer to the 4 week mark as I've been financially struggling at home and the financial advisor I spoke to said I cant make promises but they should be in closer to the 6 week mark as at that time she was just sending our paper work in - that was 3 weeks ago...in the meantime I'm not sure where to bring my children come this following Monday as I now can't send the money I was told we'd receive. I'm a worried parent wondering how I'm going to feed my children next week. This is not the first time weve encountered issues with this campus, were constantly being told one thing and another thing happening. I'm so tired of the games I've had to endure with the staff at the school, and why they feel the need to constantly continue to make ongoing issues for myself and classmates. These 17 students are extremely fed up with all that weve endured in class and with your staff, and we would like something to be done about all of this. Like I told the director yesterday we were told to pay our fees in a timely manner, so they didn't have to chase us down for payment, and I did so, but they dont have to refund me money in the timeline stated that shouldn't have even came out of my own pocket to begin with... there is a huge double standard and lack of professional responsibility within your staff. I could continue on as like I stated before this is not the one and only issue weve encountered, however this is our main issue currently that I would like something done about this.
Same issue with the book thing for half the students in my class.exact same campus. I can’t believe this place!
