C-Date dating website

I subscribed to this site in Aug 2018, it was advertised for £3 per month, then a £ 12 pound payment was taken from my account, so I assumed I had paid for 4 months.
I started to use the site and quickly realised that it preys on men, nothing but fake profiles trying to scam me, cdate obviously dosnt vet there women members properly and I have since learned that women profiles are free, after a while of trying to make it work I realised it was pointless so I tried to cancel my membership, it was impossible, so I said goodbye to my £12 contacted my bank to make sure that no more payments could be taken and thankfully I did because I av recently received emails saying I owe £129 to this site, unbelievable, threatening me with debt collectors, do not subscribed to this site, how can they do this and get away with it?

C-Date I wish to cancel membership

The website informs me that I cannot change my membership (I want to cancel) as my payment hasn't been processed! Looking at my bank statement the payment has clearly been made! I don't wish to use the site, it is full of fake profiles, with scammers looking to lure people away to other sites to take advantage of them. On top of this the profiles are not of local individuals (unless you view the whole of UK as local!). I am abhorred that the website doesn't facilitate cancellation of membership, due to a scandalous and erroneous statement that you payment hasn't been processed! And it doesn't have a contact email option to write to them

Just I registered one month was £3 on the website.

C-Date sex dating page

C-date is a scammer compilation page...
I got scammed by the third girl (diviine).

First she drag me on to emails then to skype then she wanted to see naked parts. And when I showed her just a bit, instantly I get msg that it's a rip and the video bill be sent to my relatives... Etc

Of course I sent her to hell because I just got divorced and had full right to do whatever...

Next scam was when I actually sent a complaint to the customer service and told them to at least get rid of the scammer because I almost want my money back...

They answered only some [censored] about no chances to get the money back when I did not even ask to get it just said I almost want it back...

The scammer disappeared but what do I see after just 2 days! Diviine is back only changed years from 26 to 28...

I also see other possible scammers that ask for emails or skype and refuse to talk in chat

You get my idea.. So stay away from c-date as far as you can its a brutal scammer party...

C-Date my membership fee deduction

Hi, I have signed in with c-date this month with a 9.99$ per month paige for 06 months. But when I checked my account, 239$ were deducted from my account. I believe it was an unauthorised deduction with out my concent and agreement. I want to resolve this issue as soon as possible otherwise I will have a right to apply against the comapny legally. I am expecting your answer at uneventful basis. I will be grateful if the issue is resolved accordingly

C-Date overcharged

I sign up for a month and after a month They charged me again for six months subscription. using my pay pal account, PayPal is still investigating and I send their form to cancel my membership by post using registered post. because they dont have any customer service, The thing the problem may never end, I read some review about this company, still chasing people sending bailiff. What can I do legally to stop them ?

C-Date dating site

The site appears to scammers all contacts are abroad some even asking for money or directing you to porn sites where they are models.

The last woman I was in contact with was in Ghana, she wanted money to get s medical for s visa to uk, money for s new phone and money for flights to uk. When I ran s check on her photos it too you to a porn site. When I challenged her about it she gave a sob story about a bad past etc. When I asked for her to send me s current photo she accused me of calling her s liar and got really aggressive.

The site is full of women who as far as I can make out none are real.
I have tried to cancel the subscription via the fax number provided to no avail.

Dont get scard of the mail They send about money collection. I check with the Police ITs fake and illagale. Just burn IT. Interdate have ben scamming all Who download there apps. Google aint doing anything about IT.

I have went/ registered into a website CDATE which I suspect I must have accidentally given my card number and the above was withdrawn, I received a sms notification informing me of the withdrawal which i tried to reverse on my APP but wasn't able unfortunately and went to Somerset Mall branch and was told to make contact with the company myself I have sent emails and hasn't received any response or feedback from these people I urgently need your assistance in this regard please.

I don't have access to fax and I can't send fax to cancel my membership. So please cancel my membership with immediate effect. I just asked for one month but it's recurring till date.

C-Date scam

Texts like these, and including those promising large quantities of money are fake.
Whenever they ask for your account information via email it's fake and insecure.
If you really did win something, they'd call you or at least mail you physically to settle a meeting to receive the money.
Check the email, and check the phone number if you aren't so sure, also you could also call up the bank and or coca cola to see if such a mobile draw exists and if you did actually win.

I haven't subscribed any service

I had profile and when read reviews then I deleted.

But I don't know they send me email.

CDATE is a scam.

This company is a scam.
They will steal money from you and make it very difficult to recover.
These are the trading names that this company is known by.
C-date

BE2 (if you search for similar complaints about BE2 you will see exactly the same M.O.)

Here is their M.O.

You are offered a premium service for around 20 dollars (changes depending on your countries currency.)

You go through the payment process and think that you have only paid for a 1 time payment of 20 dollars. Nowhere during the payment options will you see a total amount to pay, hence you think that the 20 dollars is what you are paying.

You get your credit card bill for hundreds of dollars.

When you ask why they tell you that you chose the subscription package of 20 dollars (per week) for a period of 6 months. When you inform them that there is an error they tell you that you have no right of withdrawal. Actually, you do, and contracts made with a fundamental error in them are not binding by the law they apply to their contracts.

They will refuse to reimburse, and you will be left trying to get it back out of them. Its a very annoying process but rest assured that what they are doing is Fraud. You can take the matter to the police, but you will need documentation to show that you informed them of the error and that they refused to reimburse and remedy the mistake. As their are literally hundreds of complaints about this company this will work in your favor.

The law will protect you but you will initially lose your money and then you will have to try and get it back out of them. It is not easy. You need to report it to your credit card company as a non authorised transaction, give them documents to prove you informed of an error, and also report the matter to the police if they continue to refuse to reimburse as it is legally Fraudulent for them to not reimburse you so go and report them for Fraud. I suggest anyone who was scammed by them report them for fraud because they are systematically ripping people off.

If you have not yet created an account with them DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS. They will take more than you authorise and it is a nightmare to get back.

If you are in the Swiss jurisdiction here is the part of the law applicable to the fundamental error at creation of contract.

I should add that there is no option to cancel in the first week via the C-Date website as they 'need to wait for payment to process'. If you ever needed a reason to run a mile from a website it's that.

Requested a refund the night I signed up. Had to wait a week to cancel. Now the they refuse to refund my money, but tell me I have 'access to the services until June 2019'. Why would I want access to their services if I requested a cancellation? They reference 'terms and conditions' but their obligation to their customers and to stand behind their service should supersede that. Awful, awful experience. Intend to email and post to as may review boards as it takes to get my money back.

I joint c-date in Dec 2018. I chose 18.88 SGD member fee and c-date deducted 56.32 USD from my bank account. On 4th Feb 2019 c-date sent me an email to claim payment from me 206.88 SGD. If I don't pay these amount my case will hand over to debt collector. Anyone can tell me should pay these amount to c-date. If I don't agree to pay these amount will they court me?

I have just noticed a sum of £119.70 on 11/10/18 taken out of my account as I had conformation that I have cancelled my membership can you let me know why this has happened.

I am a C-date member from 30th-Aug--2018, and become a premium paid member from 31-Aug-2018. It shows the mount S$8.80 for 6 months. But crazy it seems to be show my account is detected S$212.12. I want to cancel immediately my account from C-date and refund all the money.

C-Date internet dating scam

I have been using this website to date women online, i believed they were beutiful women coming from UK, and USA and other European Countries, but i have know learned they are all young teenage guys living in Nigeria Africa who do this scamming for a living, they uses this website online.dating www.C.date.se as their main source of income, by scamming men from all around the world.They copy pictures from models from the model agencies, or pornsites and uses them as thier own photos, with fake stories, but in reality they are the teenage boys from Nigeria, the scammers.It starts with getting aquiented with each other, very soon after emailing back and forth a couple of times, they begin asking for money, for laptops computers, or internet connetion subscription, or like in my case this woman called "Sulian Sodiq or Remilekunsuliat" had an inherits from her late father to be collected in a bank in Dubai, $USD 1million and she asked me to help her to transfer the money from the bank in Dubai to my bankaccount. She had escaped to a refugeecamp in Dubai, so she lived like a refugee with a pastor and his wife, so she asked for money for the rent and to help her get by. So the email correspondence carried on, and begin to change into using MSN Messenger to chatt with each other, and we began to be more intimit with one and other, so after long time i send her more and more money then one day i helped her finally to go back where she came from South Africa i helped her pay for the flight ticket and the i never heard no more from her or he in this case since he is a scammer from Lagos in Nigeria, i have an insider source in Lagos telling me these teenager boys operates in cyber cafe in the whole country scamming people like this, and he have heard from his own that this guy was scamming me from the cafe in lagos, he found the right emailadress that i used to contact this woman to, and the name he used when ihe email me, so everything is correct info from my source.The Police in Nigeria gets pay-offs from the scammers so they can continue their activities they get as much as 20% of the money they collect on scamming so its big buissness in Nigeria for the cops.

but i believe the dark numbers of victims is even larger than anyone can see since all victims are men who are most likely not going to report or tell anyone about it since they are ashamed about it and are voulrnable and hurt, so they will not report it to the police or anyone else. So if u on Scam-checker can do something about it, then these little criminals will not continue their scamming and frauds anymore.

I previuosly requested my account be deleted on the 18th 0f March 2024 and no further billing, only to find out this morning, 02 April 2024 I have been charged £39.90 (was previuosly £9.90).

Chatting along with people on C-date to then all of a sudden, nothing. My messages won’t send properly, but I am receiving messages. These people think I am ignoring them.

I have emailed 4 times asking what’s going on and have had no response.

Come on C date! You want people to meet on your site and now you’re preventing them!

Unable to contact customer service to cancel membership and future payments. I have tried numerous times to contact the company but to no avail. The site does not allow you to go direct to customer services although they advice you to do so. It is very frustrating. I can find no way to contact them that works.

I sent a cancellation over a month ago, and received no response at all, and low and behold money was taken this month! From reading other reviews it might be time to contact a lawyer!

Registered to this Dating App on 30/12/23.After constant attempts to download a profile picture I gave up so tried to cancel subscription to premium ,following there instructions to no avail. Have read other complaints have the same issue making it impossible to unsubscribe

They told me to pay only les than 3 pounds, but they ended up charging me 9.90 , fake accounts, they logged me out the same day, I couldn’t have access to that account, I couldn’t unsubscribe, so much bad reviews 01/11/2023

Tried to cancel c-date subscription sent several emails but no reply, being ignored completely. Also tried to delete profile/account it does not allow you to do so it asks you to contact customer service via email, but again nobody responds to your email.
