My name is Nitin Soni and i am based out of Ireland. I had HSBC bank account and which i recently learnt that they have been transferred to Cathay bank. I have no welcome letter, account credentials, online details. Do not now where is my money. Customer service do no pick calls, calling from Ireland and more than 60 mins wait - frustrating
Desired outcome: Please provide me my bank account details, login credentials..how can you be so irresponsible.. not informing customer and dont even know where is my money..complained several times no body from bank is contacting
Pathetic bank very Irresponsible.. dont even inform customers.. every time you call customer service it keeps saying 5 people in queue and you keep waiting for 2 hours and no body picks the call.. someone please help.. i do not know where is my money gone
Physically requiring a person to go to the bank to handle a matured cd
My 90 + year old mother has a CD which will mature on August 31, 2020. I have called the branch/customer service/etc and filed two complaints to find out why she is required to physically go to the branch office to close out the matured CD. I opened an account personal then business per Sam at Cathay Bank. I then opened a business account per Sam at Cathay Bank in Fountain Valley California. I have a business license and follow all laws Global and in the United States. Within a few weeks the back office decided to close my account causing one client to pull 32500.00. I don't know how many clients I may lose. There is still 30000.00 missing per a company said the money was refunded back to Cathay and a rep from BofA verified this twice over the past few weeks. I don't appreciate being considered less than who I am, my finance manager less than who my finance manager is and my clients less than who my clients are. I work with some highly regarded people to have some back office person determine different is wrong. I hope to have the pleasure of a lawsuit against Cathay Bank and if I can the employee who chose to deem me someone less than who I am. I don't appreciate the disruption to my business life. I contacted the vice president and general manager and they are about as lame as the employee who chose the decision to close my accounts. I have civil rights. I have constitutional rights. I also have Bill of Right rights.
Charges
I recently went to the Cathay Bank branch in Dublin, CA to apply for a mortgage loan and after being declined, I have recieved a letter of a $25 charge for the credit check that was done. NEVER was I told before or during the application process that there would be a credit check fee. Cathay Bank is an unethical bank corportation trying to steal people'...

Stella Yee occupies a managerial position at the Torrance branch of Cathay Bank. She is a selfish individual. She has no sense of ethics and uses her position there to manipulate financial transactions in her favor at a bank that has a very low degree of security and professionalism. People who know her very well have fallen victim to her immoral, shady tactics (e.g. having their bank accounts virtually emptied out). She should not be allowed to work at any financial institution. It's about time that people become aware of what she is capable of.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
