I just logged on to see what the options were, and if I wanted a new ringtone, and I find a text on my phone saying I would be charged 19.99 a month! WHAT?!

I have text messages on my phone stating that I amd subscribed to a service for ringtones. The message also states that I will be billed $19.95 per month. Attempts to stop the service have been met with rejection.

I have never subscribed to any service. I will not pay a bill to such a service. I want the service discontinued immediately.

My number shall remain confidential until you contact me via email that you intend to stop the billing . In the mean time, I have located a website where a group of attorneys are investigating for a possible class action law suit. I will contact them immediately.

It said FREE complimentary ringtone. I clicked on it and it asked for my cell phone number. I put that in and then it asked me to put in the pin number that it sent. In the message with the pin number it said, " Enter it online and download at ringtonetimes.com! or txt YES. 20 downloads Value Club Combo@ 19.99/monthly.cxl txt stop.info txt HELP." I did NOT text YES! I did NOT want monthly downloads! I wanted ONE FREE ringtone! I entered the pin number and it sent me a text message that said, " UR subscribed 2 value club combo. 20 credits billed. $19.99/monthly" I want this charge removed! I didnt even get my free ringtone! I OWE NOTHING!

I CALLED VERIZON AS SOON AS I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE FROM THIS COMPANY SAYING I SUBSCRIBED TO THEIR MONTHLY RING -TONE PLAN WHEN I DID NOT. THE VERY NICE VERIZON GIRL I TALKED TO TOLD ME TO REPLY TO THAT TEXT WITH; STOP OR CANCEL (NOTHING ELSE). THEN YOU WILL RECEIVE A MESSAGE FROM THEM SAYING THAT YOU HAVE BEEN UNSUBSCRIBED. I CALLED VERIZON IMMEDIATELY AFTER I RECEIVED THAT "YOU HAVE SUBSCRIBED" TEXT AND THE VERIZON GIRL TOLD ME ABOUT A BLOCK YOU CAN HAVE PUT ON YOUR PHONE TO BLOCK PREMIUM TEXT MESSAGING SO YOU CAN'T BE SECRETLY CHARGED. I HAD TO PUT THAT BLOCK ON MY PHONE BECAUSE WITHIN FOURTY-FIVE MINUTES THAT COMPANY HAD TEXT ME FIVE TIMES! BIG SCAM! I WONDER WHY SOMEBODY HASN'T PUT TOGHTER A REPORT IN THE NEWS PAPER OR ON TELEVISION ABOUT THIS SCAM! I BET THEY MAKE TONS OF MONEY SCAMMING PEOPLE LIKE THIS BEFORE THEY EVEN KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON! THANK GOODNESS I HAVE A BORING SOCIAL LIFE AND WAS SITTING HOME IN FRONT OF MY COMPUTER ON A SATURDAY NIGHT OR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN ME TO CATCH ON TO THIS SCAM!

CAN I CANCEL MY ACCOUNT

I did'nt subscribed to these ringtones and i want them to stop, before i'm billed! Is there a phone number where they can be reached?

well if anybody see this to solve this problem just send a text STOP to a this number 71769 they will send u a text telling that thanks 4 using our service, your value club combo subscription is cancelled so it should be fine good luck !

That same thing happened to me and I didn't eveb wabt it .Just text back to the company and say that u wantto unsubscribe to ringtonestimes and it will do it for you!TRUST ME IT WORKS!

Quit billing people who do not even use these services...I just got billed 19.99 for something that I did not order and I want it stopped.

hey, everyone I just called verizon and they said to unsubscribe to use your cell phone and dial 71769 then type a text message
"unsubscribe" DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT ONE WORD. Unsubscribe. then you should get a confirmation back saying that it was received save this message in case there are any complications. Good luck

I tried to view a movie trailer and get a free ringtone, next thing you know I supposedly signed up for this at 9.99 a month! I immediately sent a text message and got the same crap ur message does not compute. I sent an email and said I did not subscribe to anything and do not bill me now I get a text message to renew a service I never subscribed to in the first place! I am contacting the Pa. Attorney General's office to report this scam. I am sick of being victimized.

Call the number they give you for the help its [protected] the said they cancelled it when i called and they said it would take one business day to take effect.

I do not want to billed for something that i never even sighed up for this is ridiculous i want to stop being charged 10 dollars a month and I want my money back.

I just wanted my free ringtones. Please do not bill me. Please take back your 15 credits. I cancelled as soon as I saw I was subscribed so I better not be billed anything at all. This really is a scam and I want NO part of it. It's really sad when someone misleads people into thinking they are getting something for free and then they get suckered into alot of charges they cant afford. I really hope that this is the first and last time I have to deal with this.

My son took as flirting test on facebook. He entered my phone # and in 3 seconds we were being charged for jokes. In 10 seconds we were being sent a silly joke. What a fun way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Calling and txting and jumping through more hoops to get out of this charge. What a terrible way to make money. My advise is keep your phone # to yourself at all times. Such a horrible way to make money!

after reading the list of complaints I don't think my attorney will have a problem with you, stop trying to hide !CALL YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER AND REGISTER A COMPLAINT TO STOP THESE CHARGES

I do not want to be charged monthly for ringtones! I just wanted some free ones. It is not right to do this especially for christian ringtones. Please remove charges!

My complaint is holding me to a $175 cancellation fee for an aircard (which is suppose to be for a laptop) which they recommended for my computer though the service has not been good.

I better not get charged for anything! Someone needs to fix this ASAP!
