I have been waiting three weeks from the time Caliber informed me they were putting my car back together and it would be ready. My car was brought in due to it being side swiped, A scratches down the driver side of the car.
Now three weeks later the story has changed from the car being snowed in to now their billing the National General Insurance Company $3000 to put the car back together. I have been calling multiple days in the week for three weeks to now get this as the delay.
I was informed that they have been in contact with the insurance company and providing the information requested but now want me to call the insurance company as well.
Why if you have billed the insurance company which you work with on a regular basis, are you holding my car hostage?
This is very frustrating; I asked the Caliber manager what if the insurance drags their feet for months? Is your resolution to hold my car hostage until then and was informed that is Caliber policy.
I need my car back ASAP!
Never again would I use Caliber or recommend them based on this poor management and customer service.
A reputable company does not hold the customer hostage until the insurance company pays the bill. They continue to work behind the scenes with the insurance company.
