I hired Cainpro to add onto my house for $76k in June
I hired Cainpro to add onto my house for $76k in June. I gave them $20,200 upfront. They kept lying about the progress and permits for months. In December, they asked for another $40k to start the job. They haven't done anything yet, no materials or work. They won't give us our money back and won't do the job unless we pay more. They're not answering our calls or emails anymore. We're getting a lawyer to help us out.

I hired Cainpro Remodeling LLC to replace my roof on March 16, 2022. My husband and I bought the house on March 29th. The contract was for $6,580 with extra wood sheets costing $105 each after the first one, which was free. I paid in full on April 1st. The roof replacement started on May 2nd, and shortly after, I received a change order for an additional $1900. I had to sign it as I was at work and had no other choice. I requested an itemized receipt, a more secure payment method, and payment plan options from their representative Natasha. I never heard back until Carina C called on May 16th, asking for my CC information. The subcontractors were unprofessional, leaving litter on my property and bringing animals onto it. I asked for proof of charges, but Carina kept referring to the signed change agreement and my CC information.
