They charged me for stuff they didn't do. They put some sealer on some bad wood (I got pics), but they shoulda just replaced it. They made me pay for something I didn't even want. And they took off some caulking on the deck and didn't put it back, which made things worse.

I paid A Family of Trades Inc. $1102.50 on March 28, 2022 for a job that started on April 17, 2022. They promised to provide certain services, which can be seen in the invoice. However, the workmanship was poor and the job was very bad. When the business offered to send a helper to repaint, the helper said that painting was not in their wheelhouse and they were not confident to repair it. It was also the same helper who did the drywall mudding. I have an invoice as supporting documentation, but I am unable to upload pictures of the finished job or a list of concerns from the first walk-through. The pictures speak for themselves. I give A Family of Trades Inc. two thumbs down. They did a very bad job on three ceilings in my small home, including the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The pictures show the mess they left behind and the "finished" kitchen, which they offered to have their helper redo, even though the helper is not a painter or a drywaller. The business owner said he is a "master painter," but he fell far short on this job. On the first walk-through, we had to address a list of concerns, and on the second day, they didn't put down plastic and left drywall dust everywhere they walked, including over my bed. They also spilled paint on the driveway and said their helper would powerwash it, but it's still there. Additionally, they required payment upfront. I have asked for a refund, even just half, so I can pay someone else to fix it, but they won't give me one.
