Tim Hortons - Service

My name is Dolores Gray. I am 70 years old, a diabetic with high blood pressure and heart issues. With the many medication I am on I tend to have bowel issues from time to time.

I came into the Tim Hortons at 1512 2nd Ave., West in Prince Albert Saskatchewan. I desperately needed to use the public washroom and noticed the washrooms were taped off. I asked the server if she would please open the washroom for me and she said she couldn't. I asked and pleaded with her many times. She turned away from me and walked away. I then asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. The server wouldn't look at me so I got a little louder and ask for the manager.

Finally the supervisor came over and again I asked to have the washroom opened up the supervisor said it was against store policy to open up the washrooms. Again I pleaded many times, but to no avail. The supervisor then turned around and walked away from me.

I ended up going over to the public washrooms across the street at the gateway mall. Needless to say, I ended up slightly soiling myself and had an episode of angina. Where is the humanity in the staff at that particular store. Are they just too lazy to clean the washroom, if so I would have gladly cleaned the washroom myself.

I did work for Tim Hortons in Daulphin, Manitoba and I know for a fact that the owner, manager and supervisor would have open the washroom for me without any hesitation.

When I got back from being in Prince Albert, I phoned the Tim Hortons on fifth Avenue and fifth Street and 2nd Ave., West and asked to speak to a manager. The person I
that answered the phone said there was no manager, only an acting supervisor. She then called the supervisor. When the supervisor answered the phone I immediately recognized her voice I asked the supervisor what her name was and she would not give me her name. She questioned why I was phoning and I and I told her I needed to talk to the manager. She told me the manager was not in and again asked why I was calling. I asked for her name again and she would not give it to me. She told me the managers name was Michelle and would not give me her last name. She asked again why was I calling and again I said I was wanting her name. I then proceeded to hang up.

I surely hope this doesn't happen to any other senior or other person in grave need of the washroom facility.

Desired outcome: Have all Tim Horton’s owners & all staff members Cognizant of a customers issues.
