Bryant Heating & Cooling review: Bryant evolution extreme 24 terrible disappointment

The exterior unit arrived in October 3, 2023 with a damaged outer cage and dented fins, dealer A&S Mechanical promised to replace the cage and use a fin comb and never came back out. I had a routine service performed on my system (clean coils, check all motors etc.) by a local Carrier Dealer on September 12, 2024 and everything looked fine. On January 16, 2025 (15 months after the system was installed) the Heat Pump shut down with a fault code 31-58 Compressor High Pressure. I contacted A&S Mechanical to check out the problem. The service call was supposed to cost $150.00. They said the filter was dirty and washed and reinstalled the filter. During the problem a 40 Amp Breaker failed so they replaced the breaker and charged me $465.00 for the call. They didn't find any issue with the system other than a dirty filter. The next day the system through the fault code again and had no clue why but would be happy to make another service call at my expense. November 7, 2025 the Heat Pump coded 83-56 VFD Compressor Lock Out. Contacted the local Carrier dealer and they came out and told me that the Compressor was dead and needed to be replaced. My old Bryant Heat Pump ran 20 years with out an issue and only replaced it to get a more energy efficient unit and save money. Jokes on me the system is terrible.
