I would like to report my experience with Borderlinx USA in Jan 2012. This shipping service has many loopholes for the unwary customers and that this is a very unfair system. I have registered myself well before 2012. During the registration process, there were no steps in ensuring customers to recognize type of goods that Borderlinx cannot ship. So essentially the company freely allows people to sign up without proper disclosure to the limitation to their system. In Jan 2012, I purchased bottles of Kirkland Signature of Minoxidil solution from a US website and to be sent to Hong Kong via Borderlinx. The goods were sent to my US address at Borderlinx and they refused to ship it to Hong Kong as the product contained a small amount of alcohol. The options to me at the time were either to discard the goods at their warehouse or to give Borderlinx US$35 for returning the goods to the merchant. US$35 was charged for returning the goods to merchant who subsequently gave me a refund at a later stage. Then it took Borderlinx a long time to locate my package at their warehouse. It took so long that I thought the package was lost. Only shortly before the end of the 30 days period since the arrival of good, they located the package and sent back to merchant. They charged me the US$35. My suite number @ USA is [protected] Borderlinx/DHL. I think Borderlinx should return the US$35 to me because their systems are faulty and unfair.
