Adam arrived on time. Systematically inspected our house and in details. I'm very happy and satisfied with all his findings that will help me and the future owner of the house. I would highly recommend BOCC. We were told to not waste our money on a home inspection, but I am glad we did! Kent was on time, and very friendly and knowledgeable. We were allowed to participate in the walk through, and ask any questions throughout the inspection. Our report was returned to us in a timely manner and was thorough with pictures, details and recommendations. Their website made it very easy to view this report, and develop a request list for items to be repaired or replaced. We showed friends and family the report and they were also very impressed. Adam was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable. I recently utilized the services of Bocc Home Inspections Ltd prior to purchasing a home. Our inspector "Kent" was very personable, thorough and professional in his approach. He methodically worked his way through every aspect of the home and at the end of the day of inspection, I was in possession of a full report. I had several questions about the electrical and gas setup and to Kent's credit he was able to determine specifically how things were setup which answered my questions. We did purchase this property with full confidence and piece of mind. During the setup and actual inspection, all aspects of COVID protocol were followed. BOCC was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in the review of our potential purchase. They allowed us to walk with them during the inspection and explained what they were testing and looking for. They compiled a 93 page report complete with informative descriptions and related pictures just a few short hours after our inspection was complete. I would highly recommend them for their competitive pricing, utilization of current equipment such as thermographic imaging, ease of their online quote, contract, and downloadable report. After checking with various air quality businesses we decided to have Bocco perform air quality tests following tests we had previously performed indicating we had a mold problem. Kent arrived on time, was efficient in deciding the location to place the air quality machine and soon after we received the report indicating a moderate mold build-up. Following the report we took Bocco's recommendaton to fog our home with ozone to kill the offending fungus. We were required to leave our home for 2-3 days and were pleased with Kent;s knowledge, promptness and efficiency. The only issue we have is not knowing how effective this procedure has been to rid the house of mold since were told that following the fogging, air quality tests from the lab would still indicate mold presence even if the mold has been killed. "

My wife and I decided to move from our previous location to our new destination. The realtor we were working with to find a new home recommended BOCC Home Inspections to us to do a home inspection on the house we were interested in purchasing. Very good recommendation. Even though we were in a different location at the time of the home inspection, BOCC was very upfront about what the inspection would cost and very flexible when it came to paying for their service. That was a good sign to me right off the bat. The gentleman who did our home inspection did a great job keeping us in the loop as to what he found. My husband and I were looking for an older home in our dream neighbourhood to make a "Forever home" for ourselves and our 4 children. Because of the age of the home we were adamant that whoever we chose for the home inspection was thorough and took great pride in their work. Bocc Home Inspections was referred to us by a trusted friend and once I read the reviews I immediately booked an appointment with Adam. Not only was the booking process super simple, my questions were answered almost immediately on their website. As I chose not to be present at the inspection, upon completion, Adam contacted me to explain certain things from the report he knew would bring questions. He was very professional and patient with all of my questions and when I received the inspection I could not believe how thorough it was. Adam and the team made us feel like we were able to make a very educated decision and we could not be more pleased with them. I have since told as many people as I could about the great work! Many aspects of the review by Marty were good when he inspected an older home repurchase in Airdrie. At the same time, we were horrified when after we took possession and he had rated the windows as in working order, the basement windows had no latches or screens and could be opened in a second from the outside. Someone could just have entered in with impunity. Yikes. Also, no comment on many absent plates for outlets, almost inoperable locks (something you never check when you preview as you have no keys), tilting floors such that all furniture that require an upright position (e.g. clocks and china cupboards) need shims of up to half and inch, no handrail to back door, code violations for gas service in the garage (says that he cannot comment on such code violations), and similar things. Adam inspected a home for us previously and the inspection showed such flaws that we did not buy. We were grateful. We wish that Marty would have noted some of the deficiencies as we likely would not have purchased or at least would have persisted to reduce the purchase price.
