Bob Wallace Appliance Sales & Service Excellence, non pressured purchase

I appreciate for this local business that believes in excellence. The salesman Chris answered our questions, provided information and gave no pressure for us to make one purchase over another. The price is more than comparable with box stores. On the morning of delivery, he called to apologize for a problem with my delivery that he just discovered. But he immediately offered a remedy that would get me the unit I wanted on this day and obtained for me a $150 refund for the inconvenience I experienced. He was my advocate to get what I desired on the date I needed. Then the delivery young man was beyond exceptional. He was knowledgeable and informative and conversant. But even more impressive is the pride this 23 year old man took in his delivery service. He skillfully, carefully maneuvered the old washer out and new washer in through doorways, hallways and entryways to protect my floor, doors and walls from any unexpected bumps. He cleaned up water residue from disconnecting the water hoses. He choose to wipe down the new machine so it gleaned free from his fingerprints during installation. He insured it was level and remained until a water only cycle fully ran to ensure there was no problem with any portion of the wash cycle.

I have purchased from the box stores and never received service such as this.

Bob Wallace Appliance retains the reputation they work hard to earn since they first opened in 1970's.

I Highly recommend.

Recommendation: buy your appliances local from this store to receive the quality service you deserve.

I bought a bunch of appliances from Bob Wallace Appliance Sales & Service, Inc. last year, spending over $11,000. Unfortunately, the fridge doors were messed up when they arrived, and even though I sent pictures and videos, they still haven't replaced them. I've called the sales rep and the manager multiple times, but they never call me back. It's been over a year now, and I still don't have replacement doors. Not cool.

We bought a bunch of appliances from Bob Wallace Appliance Sales & Service, Inc. for our new crib. We coughed up more than $35k for them and they got dropped off in our garage in March 2022. Now we're ready to get them installed, but we can't seem to get Bob Wallace to schedule it. We need our range installed before we can get our final inspections done, so we found someone to do it for us. But they can't move the appliances from the garage to the house, which is apparently Bob Wallace's job. But they won't commit to doing it or installing them. So, we're asking them to get their act together and deliver the appliances inside our house ASAP.

We got a KitchenAid fridge (Jul 2020, delivered Nov 2020) with a big problem, a buzzing that started within a week of delivery. After four service calls, rude comments about "fridge noises," small adjustments (doors, tilt, taping down the water line), and a maintenance action (replacing the compressor, Apr 2021), the problem still exists. (The tech who replaced the compressor said it was "running way too hot.") BWA had us call KitchenAid, but then had us cancel KitchenAid's service call before BWA replaced the compressor. The most recent service call (Jul 2021) was quick; the technician wanted to do it by phone, but came at our insistence, then spent most of the time on his laptop and never examined the area where the noise originates. Now BWA is not calling us back; they seem to be stonewalling as the one-year warranty date nears. We want our money back (or a replacement with an equal product). Bob Wallace Appliance Sales & Service I bought a fridge from Bob Wallace Appliance Sales & Service, Inc

I bought a fridge from Bob Wallace Appliance Sales & Service, Inc. for $4000 on sale with a 5-year warranty. Unfortunately, it had problems with the ice-maker and made a lot of noise. I called on a Saturday around Christmas, but they told me to call back on Monday. When I did, no one answered the phone. I went to the store and demanded to speak to the person in charge, Steve ***. He told me they didn't have enough repair people and it would take a week or so to get to me. The fridge stopped working, and I had to complain again. Finally, someone came on 01/11, and parts were ordered. But I never heard from Bob Wallace Appliance for two weeks. I went to the store and spoke with Steve *** (XX-XX-XX). He hadn't followed up on the parts and claimed it wasn't his job. One part was in, and the service department said they had to check on the other two parts. The last part was due in around 02/04. I told Steve I expected someone to fix the fridge on the day the parts arrived. Steve said he couldn't promise they would be there and they would try to work me in when they got a chance. How can anyone wait 8 weeks for a new fridge with an extended warranty? Steve acts like he's doing me a favor. I told Steve if they weren't repairing my fridge as soon as the parts arrived, I would seek legal action. Steve wouldn't give me the name of anyone higher up. He told me to stop complaining so loudly and go get legal action because he doesn't care. This is a one-year-old fridge, and I can't get it repaired. What will happen if I need it fixed two years from now? The worst thing is you have to go down to the store and get in someone's face to get them to check on the situation, and they act like you're the problem.
