Bob Evans Customer Service

On April 22, 2021

While trying to dine in your Bloomington IN. Location. The service was very poor. We waited over 15 minutes for a combo of cup of soup/ sandwich an bowl soup
Then we watched the waitress walk around not even looking to see that we needed to go containers

I sat an watched her pull her mask down wipe your nose twice with her hands an then touch good containers. She never brought out ticket. I had to go to counter to get things an pay. She never acknowledged us.

Bob Evans incomplete carry out order

On Monday April 12, 2021 I placed a carry out order with my locate Bob Evans, which I do a few times a month. When I got home and was taking the food out of the bag, I realized the order was incomplete. Missing were the 2 biscuits which come with the meal I ordered and cheese on the scrambled eggs which I paid extra to have. We were very disappointed about this. Tried calling the restaurant but was on hold forever and gave up. Thank you.

Desired outcome: Refund of $14.00 or a voucher to use on a future visit.

Bob Evans I am complaining about waiting so long to be seated.

We have been to the Bob Evans on Reynolds Rd in Toledo, Oh. and have had to wait to a long time to be seated. Today when we went, there were three hostesses working but none were taking names of customers to be seated. We had to wait to have our name to be taken and even longer to get a table. Several customers left after waiting for such a long time. There were a lot of empty tables. Only thee waitresses were working. Three hostesses and only three waitresses? That number does not seem right. I saw the manager doing nothing to help with taking the names or seating the customers. Same thing happened two weeks age when we were there. We walked out and went someplace else to eat. Got seated right away at that restaurant and they were busy also.

Desired outcome: Have the manager help where needed. That restaurant is losing a lot of money with customers leaving.

Bob Evans Service

I took my wife for breakfast in Ocala, Fl. Bob Evans on Silver Springs Blvd., we have had eaten there many times before, this time the eggs and bacon were under cooked and nothing was done about it. It was like "SO WHAT". So maybe the answer is stop eating and Bob Evans period.

Bob Evans Very rude manager & cold/disgusting food

I spent $50 at Bob Evans on VALENTINES DAY, two of our meals came with the choice of a roll, biscuits, or banana nut bread, in which we chose banana nut bread. Waitress came to our table to tell us that she's been asking for someone to cut the bread for us and no one would do it, so was offered a roll or biscuit instead. Waited 45 minutes for our food, our country fried steaks were good, but the mashed potatoes were still froze in the middle, our green beans were cold, my sons macaroni was cold, and we ordered two orders of LOADED French fries, got them and they were cold and they weren't loaded. Told the waitress about everything, she was very apologetic and said she would speak to the manager. The waitress came back to the table almost in tears saying that she would try to fix it herself because the manager was extremely rude. Then they brought a bowl of shredded cheese with bacon to pour on our cold fries. Out of 4 meals that were ordered, the only thing edible was the country fried steaks. Needless to say, that was the WORST Valentine's Day dinner experience we've ever had! We will NEVER chose there again. Also, the manager walked around giving dirty looks the whole time, I never even seen her smile. Very poor management. I will keep passing this along so people know not to waste their time and money there. Here's a picture of just the fries so you can get an idea.

Bob Evans 20 oz mac & cheese

On 02/16/2021, My wife microwaved a 20 oz package of Bob Evans Mac & Cheese. when it was cooking it started to smell foul, it became a watery mess in its plastic container and it didn't look right, We threw it away! I've have had this product many times and never had a problem. the UPC [protected]

Bob Evans Macaroni & cheese

We are huge fans and purchase your foods often in store and at restaurants,... However we recently purchased your macaroni & cheese and was very disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality,... It was not creamy and all the noodles were mushed... None of them had a noodle form at all... I took a photo with the exp date and serial # visible. We would be extremely grateful for you to stand by your quality standards and refund us our cost.

Bob Evans BE Mashed Sweet Potatoes and the garlic original

I'II be brief, do to BE great reputation in our household and because of these black dots in 4 packages BE can no longer be trusted.

Based on other complains listed here going back to 2017, a global campaign to boycott all BE products and services would be appropriate.

Bob Evans glazed apples

Purchased Glazed Apples at Kroger store in Speedway Indianapolis, Indiana. the box was full of Glaze and about 8 sliced apples. I was very disappointed with this purchase . would like a full refund this has never happened before I love your products. Bob Evans Dinner and service

I took my family out for 2 birthdays to the bob evans restaurant in new albany, store #416.
We were 1 of the 2 seatings in there when we arrived. We waited 20-25 minutes for our after we ordered. My husband ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak dinner... It was nothing but gristle.. I could hear his knife trying to cut it. He then ordered a piece of pumpkin pie for dessert. We waited 15 minutes, he then when to counter to ask about it. The waitress said it would be another 15 minutes, they had to bake it.
She should have come out and told him that. We didn't have time to wait, we had been there for over 70 minutes as it was.
We proceed to check out and the cashier asked how everything was and my husband told her it was not good. She didn't care at all, and said your total is 62.50 he repeated his concerns and she says your total is 62.50, an apology was never offered.
The only waitress was flustered, the cashier was rude and the manager was only concerned with take out orders.
Not a good experience at all.

Bob Evans Mac & cheese

This is regarding bob evans mac & cheese microwaveable product. Today when I microwaved it and started eating it. At first I didn't notice but After a while I got some smell out of it and then I found molds in the pasta. Its aweful ! I almost ate half of it as I was hungry and now I am having stomach pain and loose stools. I am terribly annoyed at this! The expiry date is 02/05/2021 and today is 01/22/2021. I have 2 year old at home and luckily she didn't eat this from me! Kindly take care of the quality of this product as I already found several similar complaints.

Bob Evans Fully cooked sausage patties

I have been buying Bob Evans for years because family used to work for them. These sausage patties do not taste good. Even cooked them in skillet. The flavor is off and taste is artificial . Date. 2/14/21 on package. Est.403A L1 o344 15:03. I stored them correctly. Cooked correctly. Your company is better than any so very disappointed. Think you should know and correct.

Bob Evans You don't have fountain coca-cola to drink

What happened to having fountain Coca-Cola to drink? Pepsi is too sweet. You need a variety. When I sat down to eat this overpriced meal it made my experience a very big disappointment & wasn't all that satisfied. Need Coca-Cola! The server said everyone asks Coca-Cola

Bob Evans Missing food from my order

The meal I ordered today, 12-01-2020, was missing part of my meal. The meal was supposed to include three pancakes; there were none with my meal. The food was not very good, and it was poorly placed. This is the third time I've had an issue at the Collinsville il location. The last time the food didn't look fresh and didn't taste good. Bob Evans used to be a great place to eat, but now the service has gotten terrible! I will not be returning!

Well first it took them an hr and then some to get our food to us then the food ain't even cooked right other people got here and got seated way after us and have gotten their food already and some has been long gone I'm never coming here ever the [censored] again then the server didnt even come check on us until after we've gotten our food. Bob Evans Slow service, incorrect & incomplete order

Unhappy Thanksgiving!

We decided to order take-out turkey dinners from the Bob Evans restaurant in Massillon, Ohio for Thanksgiving. To try to avoid the rush we placed the phone order at 2:39 PM in the afternoon on the day before Thanksgiving, Nov. 25, 2020. We were told on the phone the food would be ready at 3:00 PM. We arrived at the restaurant at 3:00 & paid for the meals but the food was not brought out to us until 3:55, meaning we had to wait for nearly an hour! The reason we ordered take-out was because during this time of a large increase in Covid 19 cases we wished to minimize contact with other people as much as possible. But we were forced to sit & wait inside the restaurant, being exposed to many other people there for almost a full hour. When we got home we found the order was incorrect & incomplete. One dinner was correct but was missing the cranberry relish that was supposed to be included & there was no butter for the rolls. The other dinner was a disaster. Instead of turkey & dressing it had chicken fried steak. Instead of the ordered green beans there was corn. Again this "Thanksgiving Special Turkey Dinner" had no cranberry relish & no butter for the rolls. After having to wait nearly an hour for our food initially we were certainly not going to go back to the restaurant to try to get the problems corrected! Bob Evans, I am very disappointed with your service and it's very unlikely that I will ever order take out or eat at this restaurant again. I would be happy to email you a copy of my receipt showing the details of this order if you will provide an email address.

Bob Evans Mashed potatoes

Quit buying this brand of mashed potatoes as there is always flecks of something black in this product. Very unappetizing. No problem though as there are other similar products on the market that are clean, not as watery. Now that I have read other reviews, that black stuff could be anything. Yuck. This issue was not a one time thing. Kept hoping it was a fluke but that is not the case.

Bob Evans Pathetic run business.

Why does Bob Evans restaurant in Bridgeport Ohio let their kid employees run the show? Rude and ignorant sitting down eating and on their phones while working and not checking on tables like mine to see if I need anything. Only one employee I see has to take care of whole restaurant. They have very poor management and know one cares about customers.

Bob Evans Hostile environment / harassment

I have been feeling very unappreciated for trying to do my part in being a team. I am treated as though I am not doing my part by several others. I was told tonight by another server that three other people have told her that I said how I wasn't told how to do something and I was yelled at as though I am a liar and that person claims they will watch me do it and she will make me do it right. First, I said nothing about how I wasn't told how to do it. I stated that I didn't realize I wasn't doing it to everybody's satisfaction. Also, I was unaware that three people were ganging up to start crap about me. I am very new to the team, but I have never said "I wasn't told how to do it" that is unprofessional and false. I don't point fingers with blame, and I don't like knowing that others are saying negative things about me among several staff. I am trying my best and to be yelled at by another employee that she will make me do it right seems quite like harassment. If the team is calling me out, then I cannot work in that type of hostile environment. I told the manager tonight as I was doing my share of work that I will not be continuing to work there after tonight. I will not be back to have someone else yell at me and make it seem as though they are expecting me to kiss their butts and allow them to talk about me in such a manner. I told the manager I thought an apology from that person is in order to make me consider staying. He said he is going to talk to them. After he spoke to them nothing was said to me let alone an apology. I was deliberately snubbed, and that person left without saying another thing. I will not work with people who are nasty and backstabbing. I had worked for this company before with very fond memories, but this attitude will keep me from working, let alone eating at such a place. I am very disappointed as I had hoped I could add to the moral of the team but instead I am treated as less then worthy. I am thanked daily by the clientele that eat at the establishment. The customers generally have a warm and inviting aura however several staff make it cold and negative. If I could just do the job for the customer's happiness I would gladly stay. Unfortunately this is not the case.

This is exactly what I was going through I brought my concerns to management and I got treated as if I did something wrong my hours went down my one morning Sunday got taken and given to the person that I actually issued to one of the employees that is head of the teaming up to bully community there. Plus, I had been there longer then her but because she was one for the favorites Friend’s she got special privileges. I had to endure watching someone who didn’t deserve special treatment gain some of my hours that were cut plus get my Sunday morning. So, I was now being indirectly harassed. On my second day of training I was called a f*** idiot for putting ice in apple juice I heard her say it under her breath and these are the employees being trusted to be a leader by being given a postion to train. I should of known that day this was going to be horrible environment to work in or the occasional employee that would try to let others no there was no use complaining about management because her husband knew someone in corporate and she would not get into trouble for anything. Give it a few years and I forsee many Bob Evans shutting down between the influx’s of customer complaints as well as employees complaints and nothing ever being done.

There is an employee of Bob Evans who works in the logistic department of transportation that is harassing my niece who lives in Troy, Ohio and had briefly dated him to the point that she is in fear. he has sliced her tires on eight different occasions and those of visitors to her house. Stalking her, sending false information to her job trying to get her fired then sending flowers and food to her house offering and also to take her on expensive trips. He is cunning to the point the police who have been notified have not been able to catch him in the act. He goes so far as to buying burner phones to call and harass her. Her family feels he is unbalanced because of his actions and concerned for her wellbeing.
