Good Customer Sercvice. The audio was bad quality, but the are re-shooting the whole set and we get the new version for free. Appriciated. The old one was bad audio, but usable and the content was superb.

Im so glad I go with BJJ Fanatics for all my instructional videos. You could find some good instruction on YouTube, but not as complete and in depth as you get with BJJ Fanatics. If you want to go farther in your studies of the gentle art, go with BJJ Fanatics.

So, I went on BJJ Fanatics website to buy a DVD version of a BJJ instructional video. I didn't even bother to choose the option to protect the DVD from damage, because I'm a tough guy and I don't need that kind of protection. But then, when I got my bill, I saw that they charged me for the digital version instead of the DVD. I was like, "What the heck, man? I don't have a computer at home, only at work, so how am I supposed to access the content?"

I reached out to their customer service to see if I could exchange the digital version for the DVD, but they told me that I had ordered the digital version and there was nothing they could do. Now I'm stuck with a product I can't even use and I'm out of some serious cash.

I didn't have any problems with the Audio or Video, but I'm really impressed that Mr. Danaher and BJJ Fanatics decided to redo the series after some complaints. Got my DVD from BJJ Fanatics and it came right on time. I'm really happy that they're now offering digital downloads too. DVDs are kinda outdated now, so it's good to see them keeping up with the times. I just wish they would make all their previous purchases available for download too. Danaher's leg lock video, "Entering the System" from BJJ Fanatics is the real deal, folks. I'm telling you, I've watched a lot of jiu jitsu instructional videos in my time, but this one takes the cake. Mr. Danaher really knows his stuff and he goes above and beyond to not only show you the techniques, but to explain the theories and reasons behind why they work. And let me tell you, it's fascinating stuff.

One thing I really appreciate about this video is how Mr. Danaher repeats certain concepts throughout the instructional. It really helps to reinforce those ideas and commit them to memory. And the way he takes you from initially gripping an opponent all the way to submitting them is just masterful. You really feel like you're being guided through the entire process with reinforced dialog and proof of concept.

But what really sets this video apart, in my opinion, is how Mr. Danaher shows how a jiu jitsu practitioner with lots of knowledge in other areas of grappling can easily adapt his system to get it to work for them. It's a really useful feature that I haven't seen in other instructional videos.

I recently attended a wrestling and BJJ competition at BJJ Fanatics (bjjfanatics.com) and unfortunately, it was not the best experience. The mats were quite dirty from the wrestlers' shoes and by the end of the competition, everyone's Gi was black. To make matters worse, the mats were located next to the bathroom, which was not ideal.

The referees were from local teams and while they were giving advice to their teammates, they were also tapping other competitors to ridiculous submissions. For example, a white belt with only 3 months of experience was able to tap an expert while lying face down with a sloppy triangle. The expert was sitting on top with back mount and the poor guy looked like he was going to cry. It was not a fair match and it was disappointing to see.

The brackets were still being posted after the competition was over and we were packing up to leave. With 145 competitors, it took a whopping 10 hours to complete the tournament. Unfortunately, there were not enough referees, so half of the mats were empty. This caused frustration for those who had driven hundreds of miles to get there and many people ended up leaving early.

As someone who has attended 10 BJJ tournaments, I was disappointed with this one. While BJJ Fanatics may excel in making videos, they could definitely improve their tournament organization and cleanliness. I would suggest investing in a mop and ensuring there are enough referees for future events.
