Purchase above RV end of April 2025 at Bish's in Meridian. RV picked up May 12th - was not ready, not detailed, gas tank empty, Panel staples coming off wall, missing window screen, etc. Took RV on first trip May 26th - slide failing to work properly at first stop point, slow to extract/retract. Found the RV had not been de-winterized, had to take efforts to correct (should have been done by dealer prior to p/u date). Unable to call RVfix - Holiday. May 27th-May 31st, slide continued to fail - took 30+ minutes to extract/retract which increased in time each day to 60+ minutes. This caused great deal of stress on myself and spouse not knowing if it would fail completely. This cause great delays in our travel. Reached out to RVfix multiple times including one time where the "master mechanic" wanted me to switch the battery terminals between chassis and house battery. Voltage on chassis battery kept showing well below level of validity. Slide failed on June 1st (fortunately at a relative's house). Not anywhere near a service center. Left for home on June 6th, had to stay in Hotels/KOA cabins b/c slide was the bed area that was not usable. Took RV back to Bish's RV center on June 13th, conversation with multiple staff - it was evident they did not believe the issues, at first. Upon their own inspection, they noted a major electrical issue. The RV was left with dealership. The electrical issue was fixed but when I returned to p/u the RV, all other issues that were on the list to correct were not done - I spent 5+ hours in the waiting room while they worked on this vehicle. Fast forward to today - this "NEW" RV was supposed be for memories and fun times. It has been nothing but a disappointment from the start. It has been at the dealership much more than in use by us. We have had to live with defects, poor quality, and poor service since day one. To date - the window screen has NEVER been corrected (started with wrong sizes being ordered/not fitting to ? maybe correct screen sent only to find the window frame itself was damaged - just not found prior) RVfix offered to "use pliers to fix the window frame and make it work - this was declined by owner. I bought a NEW RV that has not/is not a NEW product. RV is still sitting at dealership since Sept 29th (date of original scheduled date changed...more than once) - call later that morning with "the window replacement was damaged in transit". As of Oct 6th, call from service stating window sent was not damaged, just did not arrive to dealership, "it was sent to corporate". Still waiting to hear from anyone that knows anything on what will happen next. This is unacceptable - 6 months with a broken down, problem, defective product.
Claimed loss: Loss of use, multiple weeks, unable to determine exact - NEW RV that has/had many defects, electrical issues, problems overall.
Desired outcome: I entered a purchase agreement for a NEW 2026 Thor Gemini RV and the product was clearly not delivered in NEW condition, I am asking for refund of purchase and cost of protection.
