Big O Tires - Poor brake repair

On or about June or July of last year 2021, my husband had my car taken to the Big Os tire store located at 76 th and Wornall street in Kansas City, Missouri 64114. We had new brakes put on my 2014 Nissan. Within a week, I took the car back complaining that they were not braking properly. After close examination the mechanic said there was a piece of metal caught in the brake? He removed it and sent me on my way.

All appeared good until December of this past year 2021. The brakes nowclatter when I apply the pedal and the car shimmers in the front causing the steering wheel to vibrate horribly. My husband had a similar issue with his Honda Ridgeline and Big O's at this store did not respond to correct the issue. We purchased a 2 year alinment program there and do not want to take our cars back to to poor quality workmanship. We took the cars to another mechanic to have brakes placed on my husbands car. He said Big O's used cheap brake pads values at less than $20.00! He has not done any thing to my Nissan but I do not trust that Big O's is living up to good standards and not providing quality care to customers. I would like a refund on my purchase so that I can have my brakes properly repaired at a reputable company.

Desired outcome: Refund

I went to Big O's located on 76th and Wornall street in Kansas City, Missouri. I had met the manager found him to be a nice person and decided to do businessw with him. Went there to but set of Michelin tires. He said he could not get them. Took my Honda Ridgeline there for new brakes and alignment. Had new rotors and brakes put on. Purchsed two year alignment program. Brake repair turned out to be a failure. Big O's refunded my repair. Took my wife's 2014 Nissan to Big O's about the same time. New rotors and brakes. Now six months later her brakes are failing. I have submitted a complaint and requested a refund. I would advise others to beware. Moreover, Big O's needs to clean up its act and give people quality service for their hard earned dollar.

Big O Tires - "left skid plate hanging"

I got my brake fluid exchanged and oil change done on June . Leaving i noticed my TPMS light was on. SO i went back . The mechanic, Matthew, that "worked" his name is on my car said that it would reset itself, after putting more air in my tires. Which i found out was not true. It has to be manually rest. So unneeded air was put in my tires. Then i leave again and got on the highway. Every little bump i went over my front end was scraping the ground. I called asking WTH did they do to my car. I was told, well the tires were rotated. Knowing that wasn't the reason why. Slowed down as much as possible till i could get off the highway. Looked under my car to see my skid plate hanging.
Took my car back the next day. Long story short, this is a leased car. Told them i wanted a new skid plate since it now was scraped up. Was told the manager needed to get a hold of his boss. And that his boss was not going to be happy because of a "[censored] mistake". But that he had to get permission to order a new plate. That i would hear from him the following week. Which was a holiday week. So i tried to be understanding on the length of time it was taking for them to get back a hold of me. Here it is July 22nd and still no call! so i attempted to call and speak to the manager. After calling this morning and telling the lady why i was calling, i sat on the phone for over 15 minutes to no avail. Needless to say i am pretty upset that they have not reached out to me and that i had to reach out to them. Then being put on hold. Neither of my cars will return to Big O Tires and i will definitely make sure others know of my experience at this facility.
