Windsor Homes We just bought a new house from Windsor Homes in May

We just bought a new house from Windsor Homes in May . They said the builder would come back in a year to fix anything. I called ahead to set it up, but there were delays because of COVID. That's understandable. But now, six months later, they still haven't reached out to schedule the visit. We haven't heard anything from them about what's going on.

Windsor Homes We bought a house from Windsor Homes NC about a year ago

We bought a house from Windsor Homes NC about a year ago. They gave us a one-year warranty for repairs. We've tried to reach out to them many times, but they never answer the phone or return our calls. We even filled out an online request for warranty repairs, but they haven't responded or gotten in touch with us about it. Basically, there's been zero communication from them, and we can't get a hold of anyone who works there to fix our problems. I want ComplaintsBoard.com to help me get in touch with this company and resolve these ongoing issues.

Windsor Homes Me and my wife, we bought a brand new house from Windsor Homes (Windsor Investors LLC)

Me and my wife, we bought a brand new house from Windsor Homes (Windsor Investors LLC) ... At first, everything was fine, but when we reached the 11-month mark, we started dealing with the warranty repairs checklist ... It took them a good 3 weeks to get about 3/4 of the way through, and then we encountered a major problem: the concrete was all messed up. Holes started showing up less than 16 months after they poured the driveway and walkways. Can you believe it? Some parts are less than 2 inches thick! Our neighbor had the exact same problem and they got a concrete contractor to redo all their concrete. But now, Windsor Homes changed contractors and they're saying they won't cover it. What a load of nonsense! They fix my neighbor's issue but ignore me when I have the same problem.

Windsor Homes We bought a house from Windsor Homes about a year ago

We bought a house from Windsor Homes about a year ago. 'Bout six months back, the shower in our master bedroom leaked and messed up the ceiling in our living room. They came and replaced the shower, which made us happy. They fixed the leak and repaired the wall and ceiling. But, it's been six months now, and they still haven't come back like they promised to sand and paint our wall and ceiling. We've been talking to Sharon, one of the agents, who talked to Jake W. We just found out that Jake did reach out to my wife, but she accidentally missed his message. Sharon doesn't wanna give us any contact info, and as far as I know, we didn't have his number or email until a few weeks ago. The model home where Sharon and Jake work is just two houses down from ours, but he never bothered to come over and deal with our problem. I contacted the company today through their website, but no response yet. Jake said his guys would come this week, but we don't have a confirmed date.

Windsor Homes I closed on my Windsor Homes house (***) in December

I closed on my Windsor Homes house (***) in December . I was reminded repeatedly that I should file a claim regarding any covered issues within a year, which I did (following their procedure) with Brant D, who put me in touch with his Asst. Building Superintendent, Bailey C. After more than one year of delays, Mr. C sent people who partially addressed some issues. After many more months of delays, Mr. C finally came to my home and reviewed the open items, assuring me that they would be completed. I have never heard from Mr. C again. I have called and emailed him with no replies. I have contacted Mr. D with no replies. It is exceedingly difficult to contact the business unless you are buying a home. It will soon be 3 years that I have been in my home and cannot get the items addressed. They are not expensive issues, but require someone with skills beyond mine. I am simply asking for the company to respond to me and complete their work in accordance with their warranty policy. Thank you. -

Windsor Homes I bought a house from Windsor and it came with a 1 year warranty

I bought a house from Windsor and it came with a 1 year warranty. After about 6 months, I started filing claims for many problems. They didn't seem interested in responding to my claims at all. I sent lots of emails for months, and eventually got a response, but no action was taken. I got more aggressive in my emails, thinking maybe that would motivate them to address my problems. Their representative emailed me and said that because of my attitude in my emails, my warranty was canceled after the year was up. I have a bunch of documentation showing that I registered my claims months before the deadline, but they kept delaying and waiting for it to expire. I just want them to give me a copy of the document I signed when I made the purchase, stating that my warranty could be canceled if I was mean to them in an email. That document isn't in the packet I received. They do really bad work and provide no service after the sale, but a contract is a contract and they should have to keep their word. I took care of my end by giving them $269,000 for their house.

Windsor Homes I bought a new house from Windsor Homes in May in Graham NC

I bought a new house from Windsor Homes in May in Graham NC. When we did the orientation, I pointed out a bunch of things that needed fixing, like a crack in the tub, walls with bad paint, cabinets with bad paint, and the paint on the ceiling not meeting the walls. There was also damaged wood on the porch and the yard was in terrible shape with holes that could hurt people. But the builder said it wasn't a custom build, so they didn't really care. They also said they don't guarantee the grass, even though it was a mess. I tried calling the construction supervisor and left a voicemail, but they never called me back in 5 months. I also asked for someone to contact me about my concerns on the survey when we closed in May, but no one ever did. I'm also worried about their customer service because I read online that they don't follow up on warranties. They blamed COVID for the delays, but that's not an excuse for bad customer service and shoddy work. Finally, after 3 months of emailing them every week (then every other week because it was so tiring), they sent someone to fix the cabinets. But they made all sorts of excuses for the delay and didn't take responsibility. The most urgent issue is the tub with a hole that could cause mold and rot in the future. I submitted a request on their website 2 months ago and emailed the warranty division, but no one has responded yet. Windsor Homes should live up to their promise of quality and customer satisfaction. This whole experience has been really unpleasant and not what I expected for my investment.
