I did not receive anything from this company in the mail and went to buy a house and they pop on my credit report I called them and talked to them about not sure what it was because it was back in July but I paid it in full to resolve the issue ask for it to be removed from credit report.. they said no asked for a paper starting the it was resolved three email or fax and they said no they will mail it but I have not received anything from them. They then tell me to stop payment and do it threw website to get confirmation.. this is not how to do business when asking for help and payed in full no questions ask or fight it I could have left it for a charge off

My wife (Marianne) and I filed bankruptcy in October 2008. which was fianlized and approved 2/26/09, with no contribution from us. Therefore, all debts prior to 2/26/09 were dismissed. We did incur 3 debts from Bert Fish Medical in January 2009. We received bills, and told them that we had filed bankruptcy. When our filing was final on 2/26/09, we told them. They were also, listed as a current debtor and would have received proper notification from the court. Our case number was 3:08-bk-07117-PMG, judge Paul M. Glenn at the middle district court of Florida in Jacksonville.

The next communications we received were from BCA Financial. First bills (which I responded to about the bankruptcy), then phone calls from someone at BCA name Barbara, (her number is the one listed above). I told her about the bankruptcy and she all but said I was lying. I sent her a copy of our 2/26/09 bankruptcy, and still continued to call and harass me ( I would let her talk to my wife due to her medical conditions. I called my bankruptcy attorney and he said tell them to call his office. Barbara said she did and did not get a answer. i checked with my attorney and they never received any such call. i stopped answering the harassing, beligerent and unprofessional calls from Barbara. I later called their number on their site and no one would give me the name of the company president, and it is not listed on their web site.

As you know, they were not following the legal instructions covering bankruptcy. Also, I was in collections for 33 years and they broke several followed rules for proper collections and abused our rights. I sent to letters to the office of the president at BCA at the Miami address (the last one certified, which was accepted, but I do not know by whom). I requested financial restitution for their treatment and no response at all. I think they should be at least fined and we should receive compensation for their treatment.
