BayCare review: Treatment
My father was a patient with Dr Hashimi being treated for kidney cancer. My father passed away from 3 other medical problems including sepsis. I spoke with the medical receptionist Brenda to cancel my mother's appointment and inform her office my mother will not be returning for treatment based on how they failed to treat my father. It is documented that my father suffered with sepsis for a week and Dr Hashimi did nothing to save my father's life. I even requested for my father to be transferred to Moffit Cancer Hospital in Tampa to try to prevent my father's death. Brenda's response "the dr can't keep track of all her patient's deaths." This is wrong, unprofessional, unacceptable and heartless.
Claimed loss: My father's life.
Desired outcome: Dr Hashimi disbarred as a doctor.

My father died under Dr Hashimi's care and she never came to treat my father while in ICU at Baycare for Kidney Cancer. Also, Dr Hasimi never informed her office team of my father's passing. Her receptionist Brenda defended Dr Hashimi's unprofessional behavior by saying, "The Dr can't keep track of her all her patient's deaths." I feel that Dr Hashimi and her receptionist shouldn't be working in the medical field because they don't truly care about the patient or the patient's family. Brenda made me feel like my father and I don't truly matter and we're just profit.
