On 6/17/2026, and at Baywood Banner Hospital, mesa, Arizona, Orthopedics Post -Op floor 5, and in Room 543, I was admitted to for a Post-Op Hip replacement stay. The staff were awesome. all the way until the morning shift of 1- RN, named Samantha, and a CNA-Name Unknown, but she was an elderly Hispanic lady. I was nauseated and couldn't hold down my food or liquids, so I was put on "No Food or Liquids Diet", These 2 staff subjected me to Extreme dehydration and administered NO PAIN MEDICATIONS! I begged for pain meds and was told I would be given Morphine injection. I was eventually given a Morphine injection and was restricted to 2 morphine injections over a 12 hour period. My Morphine tolerance is roughly 4-1/2 hours before wearing off. I SHOULD OF BEEN ADMINISTERED AN INTERVEINOUS LIQUID BAG, SINCE MY iv PLUG WAS STILL IN MY RIGHT WRIST!~I endured excruciating and paralyzing pain, that I would say was 9-10 on Pain scale, I have a benign Brain Tumor that creates major migraine headaches and was starved , causing migraines and multiplied the pain from my right hip! I was light-headed just laying there in the bed, NEGLECTED! The first chance that I got, I expressed the desire to be DISCHARGED ASAP! As soon as the gastroenterologist, cleared me for food and water again, I begged for water and food! When I finally was being transferred to downstairs form the 5th floor, I was able to see my breakfast tray, just sitting on the counter next the room door? Neither of the 2 nurses attempted to asist me whatsoever in feeding and hydration! I was able to go downstairs to the Pharmacy and retrieve my Post-Op medications and take them right away, A DAY AFTER Enduring a 12 hour atrocity of torment and neglect. I am home now and filing this formal complaint against those 2 nurses/ Samanth and her Latin CNA! Everyone else was awesome!
