their return department is terrible!
I ordered a coat from Avenue but received the wrong one, so I decided to return it. The entire returning process was a real nightmare! Their returning policy states that it is possible to return anything within 7-10 days. So I contacted their customer service and asked for a return label. I received the label and sent the coat back to them. Several weeks later I called again. I was told that they did receive the coat but there will be no refunds, since it wasn't in a returnable condition. What a joke! I tried it on only once and it's condition was perfect! They offered me two options. I could either pay to have it back or have it sent to charity. Completely ridiculous! Don't order anything from Avenue, there are better websites.

Please do not shop at avenue!!! They are scam artists and I am reporting them to every agency I can. I placed a large order online and was not satisfied with most of the items. The prices have gone up while the quality of their clothing has gone way down. The day I tried on the items I packed them in the same box the clothes were received in and mailed them...

This company fires there employees for not opening charge accounts and the change the terms when ever they feel like it. Do not open an account with this company or use there credit card. Thay do not care about the customer they are just looking to get your money and their double digit intrest. It should be against the law for them to fire people for that due to the economy. It should be against the law for any company to do this

I spent over $70 at this store on Sunday, August 4, 2013. I presented my coupon on my phone, obtained by clicking the coupon link saying 'display coupon', and displaying the coupon clearly, with expiration date (August 31, 20130) and coupon code number under the bar code, with the text saying $10 off $50 purchase, all surrounded by a dotted line.. The cashier said she wouldn't take the coupon, it has to be on paper. I said, 'well, I don't have paper with me, it has the name your store on it, it hasn''t expired, to whom do i complain?' She answered, 'The manager', and called the manager over. The manager said the same thing to me, then opened a cash register to wait on the lady behind me in line. I said, 'It's absurd to produce a coupon with your store's name on it and refuse to take it. To whom do I complain on a corporate level?' The manager gave me a phone number. The manager also agreed this was absurd, and the coupon should be honored, but she is not allowed to scan coupons on phones. Both employees and I talked for a few minutes about honoring coupons, and putting the name of your business on a coupon you refuse to honor, and customer service in general. Both ladies were apologetic. I said, 'I'm so sorry your company puts you in the position of refusing to honor the coupons they produce.' It is too bad this company cares so little about their employees they will subject them to any manner of dissatisfaction and irritation they may receive from customers like me who simply want to use the coupon issued by the store itself...
