Joe and his team did a good job with my lift install. They came out for the estimate, discussed various options (including laying out where the lift would be installed so I could see the footprint) and then showed up on time the day of installation and worked efficiently to get the lift up and running. After the install, Joe stuck around to walk me through a tutorial of how to use it. I would recommend Joe and his team to anyone in Charlotte looking to install an automotive lift.

Joe and his team did an outstanding job ! They showed up when they said they would, they completed the work when they said they would, and they delivered a high quality end result. The guys were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The job site was neat and tidy at all times, and the completed work was clean and very tidy. The product is of a high quality, and you would expect that. But the installation and education process is just as important, and these guys made it a pleasure. Great job. Highly recommended.

After researching and comparing different companies, I decided to purchase my lift from AEI and I'm glad I did! My lift arrived quicker than expected and was installed in a timely manner also adjusting to my schedule for the best time to install. The sales team, customer service representatives, and installation technicians were a pleasure to work with and the installation was professional and organized. AEI and his team recently installed a four post lift at my home - a first for me as I have never had a car lift before. Even though it was the day before Thanksgiving, AEI and his crew took their time to professionally set up the lift and made sure that all of my questions were thoroughly addressed and I was completely comfortable with operating the lift before leaving. I would definitely use them again should the need arise and wouldn't hesitate to recommend AEI to anyone looking for a lift installation in the greater Charlotte area.

Joe and Ed were true professionals. Very knowledgeable, very polite and friendly, and very considerate of our ideas and visions. We are building a TV studio for an automotive program, and Joe listened to our needs and ideas. He was very open to suggestions, while also making some expert recommendations. They guys adapted our plans - and their original plans - to our space, which created some challenges. They've been in business for a long time, and they've seen it all. We are very happy with the results and extremely grateful for their expertise.

Joe was great. He saw right away that the lift I was thinking about wouldn't work to my satisfaction. He explained other options in great detail which allowed me to evaluate the other lifts which would meet my requirements. He then explained the major differences between the lift I was thinking about and the related lift he felt would better meet my use objectives, he was right. Installation was professional, timely and thoroughly explained the operation. He was right on time the morning of the install also. I asked Joe and team to come out to service my lift and discuss permanently bolting down the 4 post to my garage floor. When they were there performing the service, they determined the hydraulic lift unit had failed and it would not lift the vehicle. They were able to replace it, square up the lift, and bolt everything down for security. Couldn't have been happy with their work. They are very knowledgeable, communication was great, came out when they said they would, and got everything done with diligence. Thanks for taking care of me Joe! I'll be calling you guys in the future for any other maintenance needs i have on my lift.

AEI was recommended by the lift manufacturer to repair my 15 yr. old, 4 post storage lift, after a part failed during the operation of the lift. Within 3 days of my call Joe came to my house and did a full assessment before setting to work. He was well organized, very professional, very efficient and very focused. He did an excellent job of fixing the initial problem, then went over the rest of the lift to ensure everything else was working properly. Leaks were fixed, cables adjusted, and operation optimized in a two hour period. I was very pleased with results and the cost was very fair. I would certainly call him again if the lift gives me any more problems.

Joe installed a Magnum 4-post lift for us yesterday and did a phenomenal job. Pricing is very fair and well worth it to have the lift professionally installed. Joe is very friendly, super knowledgeable and experienced, and he and his helper worked very hard to fit the lift into our garage. Joe explained and demonstrated how to use the lift and would not leave until he was sure that I and my wife knew how to operate the lift. Fitting one car on the lift and one underneath was a challenge, with only 10`3`` ceiling height; but Joe made it work by making custom adjustments and alterations to the lift-locks. Having never had a lift before I researched AEI on line and found the reviews to tell me it was worth speaking with their team. It was an excellent decision and introduced me to their representative who is not only extremely knowledgeable but takes the time to assess your needs and offers solutions that are focused on making sure you are happy with the lift choice. Once we decided on the lift they were supplying and the install plan was done, their team delivered a professional installation from the initial consultation to the retrofit to installation of the lift. The install of my single post lift that maximized the space in my garage went without a hitch and I was amazed how careful they were to make sure my new epoxy floor looked new after they were done. You won't go wrong teaming up with AEI to purchase and install your lift.

Needed a 3 car garage, but didnt have enough room to expand my garage due to property line setbacks. Searched around online for a 4 post lift with the smallest footprint & was eventually put in touch with a reputable automotive equipment installation company. After meeting & measuring, we both concluded that a 4 post lift simply wouldnt fit in my garage, but the company was able to offer another solution of a single post parking lift that I didnt even know existed. Not knowing anything about this type of lift & being a detailed & analytical kind of person, the company representative answered every question I had about it & was patient while I did my own research. His extensive knowledge and expertise about this kind of lift convinced me to move forward. They came & installed the lift and the installation team was understanding of my questions while I watched their install. The lift he proposed provides exactly what I needed, & now I have a 3rd parking spot in my garage, protection for my hot rod since it's elevated in the air and my wife can finally park in the garage, so she's happy too. The decision to purchase a lift was a big one for me. I checked many Websites and made many calls in an effort to learn as much as possible about the lifts and determine exactly what I needed. I was becoming frustrated with all the different types and options as well as prices all over the board. Finally, a friend told me to contact Automotive Equipment Installation. Joe M answered my call. He asked me many upfront questions to determine my needs. He then cut through all the sales tactics and got down to the nuts and bolts. He explained everything from ceiling height to floor thickness and power needs. He quoted prices that were reasonable. I learned more during my 20 minute conversation with Joe than I did after days of looking at Websites and talking to people who only sold from a catalog. I did shop around a little more but couldn't get over the clear no BS conversation with Joe. I went with my gut and purchased a two post 10,000lbs lift from AEI. I must admit, install day I was very nervous and concerned. Joe and his team arrived on time and immediately got started. They worked like a well rehearsed, organized military team. Few words but lots of action. The lift was up and running by noon. The guys were friendly and provided me Training and instructions booklets for any vehicle I would ever need to lift in the future. Before they left they lifted my Van and Cars to be sure I had a full understanding of all the controls and adapters.
