Gentlemen,
I am writing to ask that the AJC not discontinue the daily bridge column, as I've been informed is the plan.
My wife and I have been subscribers for close to 50 years. My favorite articles in the AJC are the daily bridge column and Bill Torpy's column. I am an avid bridge player and believe cancelation of the bridge column would be a huge mistake. Most bridge players are over 60 years of age and I would bet that most readers of the AJC are also over 60 and enjoy bridge. It seems that cancelation of the bridge column would lessen the enjoyment of reading the AJC by many of its reader.
Sincerely,
Bill Layng
Desired outcome: The AJC maintaining the daily bridge column.
