they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He fixed the issue quickly and even gave me some tips on how to prevent it from happening again. Overall, I had a great experience with Art Douglas Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning and would recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

i had a grate time with art douglas plumbing. this was my 3rd time using them and i signed up for another one. frank was the guy who came and he was really good. he explained everything to me and did a good job.

i had a new wall heater put in by Art Douglas and it was done real good. John and Raul were real nice and did a good job. it was my first time using them but i would use them again. thanks for the good work!

My water heater was not heating water. I called other places but they couldn't come out till later on in the week. I called my neighbors to get recommendations two mentioned Art Douglas Plumbing. They came out in less than an hour. Josh P. one of their professional plumbers checked it out and explained the problem and solutions ...after considering my options. I felt comfortable with his assessment and price for the complete job ...He and his assistant did a great job. I used to deal with L__'s Air & Plumbing here in Fresno. Their prices went through the roof for simple services! Thus I started my search for a reliable and established HVAC & plumbing company. I liked everything I read about Art Douglas and was impressed. I hired them to do a plumbing project. It was done with excellence and a value. I then hired them to put in a water filtering system and a blue light A/C purification system. Again, done with excellence and a value. I have had them out for two periodical maintenance visits. Again done with excellence and a value. It is refreshing to see a company that still demonstrates excellence and with a value for the prices charged. Simply put - they do GREAT work. Thank you!

They take advantage of senior s do not use them

I called Art Douglas for a clogged drain pipe. Robert came out and gave me an estimate/price that was more than fair! Robert hAd the drain working and unclogged in no time and I couldn't be happier. I won't bother calling anyone else ever again. Fast, quick to your property, and great customer service. Thank you Art Douglas Plumbing and Robert.

We called Art Douglas Plumbing on an emergency. I looked up ratings and found he had a boatload of good ones. I called, to set up a plumber the next day as this was going to be an expensive after hours job. The very pleasant dispatcher sent Stewart over within forty five minutes. He was fully stocked with what he needed to complete the job and extremely knowledgeable. The job was done within the hour and it is perfect. I could not ask more from a professional. He was very friendly and Covid savvy, from mask to booties. You cannot go wrong trusting this outfit and especially Stewart. I turned a friend on to him who had a list a mile long waiting on the right plumber. Stewart went out the next day and tore the list apart. I was proud I recommended him. I never recommend people for jobs.. Often times it might go well for me but not for the other guy. I could recommend Stewart all day and feel confident he will "get er done."

Plumber came on June 15 to fix 2 problems. One got fixed, but the other one was a big problem. The plumber said there was a big cut in the drain pipe that was not there the night before. Me and someone else looked at it very carefully the night before and there was no cut. The plumber charged $220 to fix it. If the cut was there before, water would have come out when we filled the basin and drained the water. But there was no cut! The invoice number is 102259. I can't show you the copy because it's hard to read.

Last week our toilet was cloggd and a technician came out to take a look. After an hour it was determined that they'd need to do a longer process (for another $150). During that process, whatever he did, SOMEHOW broke our other bathroom's toilet (so he said). He advised us not to even flush that other toilet because water would come out and all over immediately. It was concluded that a new toilet would be needed, and they were able to work out a DECENT deal by not charging for the labor for the new toilet. That is not even the toilet we called about, yet after the technician admitted that what he did broke the other toilet, we were purchasing a new toilet. I do not feel we should have paid anything for the new toilet, but we paid a portion. THAT IS NOT EVEN MY MAIN COMPLAINT... 2 days later we noticed that a huge corrosive stain was on our custom walkway in front of our house, where the machine he was using sat. We contacted them over the weekend and on Monday they sent two men out to simply power wash it. FIRST, both men arrive WITHOUT MASKS! We are in a pandemic, and these two guys arrive without masks, don't have any in sight, and even tells us he doesn't have a mask on him. Then after power washing the stain he proceeds to incorrectly explain to my mother that cement does this over time and shows us images online of it. I explained that one day it was perfect and the next (after his machine sat on that exact spot) there were huge stains. Cement doesn't do that overnight. He proceeded to continue to try to explain that this happens naturally and then asked, "WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO?" .. and then both of them just walked away at the end without offering to have a manager contact us, or see who they needed to talk to about anything. BY FAR THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD FROM A BUSINESS IN A WHILE... and DURING A PANDEMIC, REFUSING TO WEAR MASKS. Both employees were rude, dismissive, and SEXIST towards my mother.

I called Art Douglas Plumbing to fix my toilet that wasn't flushing. They sent a guy with a tool called a snake to fix it. But he broke my pipe and didn't tell me. Another guy came and said he was the supervisor, then the owner. They said a big toy was stuck in the pipe, not that they broke it. They used a machine to locate the camera they put in earlier, but said it was for the toy. I asked how a toy could be too big for the toilet, and they got mad. They charged me for cutting my tile and replacing the pipe without telling me. They also tried to charge me for a thermostat they messed up. I called another company and they found that Art Douglas Plumbing broke my pipe and left their tool in it. When I called to confront them, they denied it at first, but then admitted it when I told them I had proof. They hung up on me and the corporate office did too.
