I had a problem with my Fan Pulley Bracket at Arden Village Service, Inc
I had a problem with my Fan Pulley Bracket at Arden Village Service, Inc. My fan had a lot of play, causing my Serpentine Belt to come off. My family owns shops in Grass Valley and Rio Linda, and my uncle checked it out the night before. He said it was running great and advised me to take it somewhere to have the Fan Pulley Bracket repaired. I bought the parts to fix it myself, but I didn't have the right tools or time. I had it towed to the shop, and they said they could fix it by Friday afternoon. I received a text saying my car was ready for pickup, along with a random remark about noting the condition of my car on my receipt. This raised a red flag because my truck had no pre-existing problems. It had no oil leaks, water leaks, overheating issues, starting issues, check engine lights, or any other problems whatsoever. The VSC, Trac Off, and Check Engine Light can be reset by disconnecting the positive battery terminal for a few minutes, which is common in this model of Lexus. When we went to pick up the car, they made us pay before giving us the keys. There was a strange atmosphere, and people were acting oddly, as if something was wrong. When I tried to start the car, it wouldn't turn over, as if there was no compression. I had just started it and shut it down before it was put on the tow truck, and it was running fine. I'm almost certain it has a blown head gasket based on how it's trying to start. It seems like someone left my car running without the fan or forgot to put water in it, causing it to overheat. Either way, something happened, and they are trying to hide it by noting pre-existing conditions on the receipt that weren't there when my car was towed. I'm shocked and surprised after reading all the good reviews that they would try to cover up such an obvious mistake. This is my only car, and I need a quick resolution to this issue. Thank you for your time.
