This ostensibly 'friendly' company is one to be studiously avoided. I contacted them for a quote on what should have been a wholly uncomplicated downsizing move—relocating from a 100-square-foot storage unit to an 80-square-foot one. I clearly itemized fifty large 64-litre boxes, several rolled paintings, assorted cases, and other sundries, and explicitly noted the availability of a ground-floor lift and trolleys. We mutually agreed upon a Luton van and two strapping men to handle all the heavy lifting. I was casually assured that a few extra miscellaneous items would pose no issue, that no time constraint applied, and that I should simply relax. Having paid, I proceeded with every expectation of professional competence.

Yet the reality was manifestly disappointing. On the day, rather than the agreed Luton, a diminutive van arrived, crewed by a woman and a man, both of notably slight build. When I telephoned to protest the insufficient capacity, the company flatly refused to dispatch the correct vehicle. They proceeded to scrutinize the consignment, disputing its volume—counting standard boxes as oversized and recasting my rolled artworks as "framed pictures" of a restrictive, predetermined dimension. Furthermore, the crew categorically refused to service the first floor at both the origin and destination, claiming this detail was absent from their records. Consequently, I am now forced to engage a second van, incurring double storage costs, while receiving minimal assistance with the physical labour—and all the while, the crew persistently solicited additional fees and repeatedly reminded us of their other job commitments.

In my experience, this ranks as the absolute nadir of customer service in an industry already notorious for its subpar operators.
