Dr. Rosa Pena - Fake Dental Award - Unqualified Non-Specialist Fraudster, General Dentist Only at Angels Touch Dental Clinic (renamed Cabo Soft Dental Care) Watch out for these guys -

Dental patients taking a Cabo dental vacation need to be made aware that 85% of all dentists in Mexico are only general dentists - trained only in very basic dentistry. But many of them like Dr. Pena aggressively advertise for large treatment patients they are not formally trained to treat. In the USA and Canada general dentists are forbidden to attempt root canals, crowns, bridges, oral surgery and dental implants without years of additional dental school and certification after passing board reviews.

Not so in Mexico as general dentists in the alternative to attending advanced dental college - are allowed to learn the old-fashioned way by trial and error practicing on their unsuspecting patients. You can avoid this kind of expensive dental fraud by selecting a certified dentist in Mexico for your large treatments. They cost the same as general dentists in Mexico. Dr Pena not only falsely promotes herself as an endodontist (root canals crowns) and implantologist, she goes one step further and attacks other dental professionals, including her ex-husband who protest her and her boyfriend Enrique Ilitzsky's unethical and criminal behavior.

BEWARE OF FAKE POSITIVE TESTIMONIALS about Dr. Rosa Pena and lies about her ex who has been a reputable Cabo travel writer for Los Cabos Magazine for many years. All the preceeding positive testimonials regarding dentist Dr. Pena were written by her time share salesman boyfriend Enrique Ilitzsky who is trying to promote general dentist Dr Pena as a specialist when she is not a specialist trained in any specialty - not endodontics, , perio, oral surgery, and certainly not dental implants. These two will stop at nothing to make a fast buck off of trusting foreign patients. When in Mexico for a large treatment - see a certified dentist not a general dentist - they cost the same anyway.

She has been doing all the dental work for the magazines publisher for free for years in return for free advertising. General dentist dr. Pena and her boyfriend Enrique Ilitzsky have been charged by a Cabo judge with felony defamation for their malicious attacks on other dentists and her ex-husband, See attached arrest order.

I had a similar experience with Cabo dentist Dr. Rosa Pena who is also called the Dentist with the Touch of an Angel in her ads. We had just come to Cabo on a vacation. I had a terrible toothache. My friend said to try San Jose del Cabo dentist Dr. Rosa Pena because she had seen some of her ads.

Dr. Rosa Pena said my tooth was abscessed and would have to be pulled, but she could not deaden my mouth because of the infection. My husband said I just sat there with tears running down my face as she was pulling the tooth. She yelled at me to stop being such a baby.

When she pulled the tooth out - she quietly said Oops.; It was a perfectly good tooth! The abscess was in the inner gum not the tooth. I asked her if she was a periodontist and she got huffy and said she was only a general dentist but had been practicing for many years. My husband refused to pay her and fortunately we never went back to her. Now I have a bridge where that good tooth could have been saved had she not been pretending to be a periodontist.
